The quality of Real Madrid's main players is too different than the substitution. It will be a problem if they get injured and cannot play for a long time. It is all good! La Liga is getting very competitive lately and the last results confirm this. Atlético Madrid is totally looking for the title now, they showed some real good football in the last games. I am sure Modric won't be interested to come back again to Tottenham. He isn't Bale, Modric is always the main players in Real Madrid. Zidane must know if it is a bad decision to sell Modric. There are no other players who deserve to replace his position there.

He may be a crucial piece of the team right now but even Zidane cannot do anything if the Madrid board decides to sell Modric to any team when the price is right. It's all business at the end of the day and no player is indispensable.

Real Madrid had been reigning the top position in the league and a consistence penetration into the UEFA league for many years now. And with current team, they have achieved more with whatever they have and Luka Modric has been the heart of it. The association is mutually beneficial as he's now been considered a leading figure in a top team.

You are right. This is not impossible for Real Madrid. Real Madrid did not start the season very well but now they are in great form. On the other hand, Barcelona is trying to get back on track. They are somewhat successful. Hopefully they will play better in the upcoming matches and will fight with Real and Atletico for the title. Then this year's la liga will be even more exciting.

If Barcelona is back on track I am sure the competition will be tougher with the team, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletco and both the Sociedad and Villareal teams will probably be knocked out of the top table.
Mardrid has returned to the best of form as their victories continue which means they start the season midway and it will be a stronger defense provided Barcelona catch up.
But in my prediction Real Madrid will come back this season with the strength of their squad now more stable.

Real Madrid tried to replace Modric with Eden Hazard but the result is bad. Hazard got many injuries and has never shown his best form in Bernabeu after the transfer from Chelsea.

Getafe played a home match against Celta Vigo yesterday. In my opinion, the match was not really enjoyable watching. Celta Vigo got a 4-match win streak before this match. They managed to get one point from here and they increased their unbeaten streak to 5 matches in the league.

I am not going to lie Ronaldo was one of the best players La Liga has ever seen, not saying the best because there were some amazing players in La Liga history let's face it anyone could say they could be better, however I have to say talking about Ronaldo and how he could change things, how could we ignore Messi?

I understand that for the past year or two he has been unwilling to play like he used to, and I understand that people consider the player he is today and maybe not remember how he used to be, but I remember plenty of times Barcelona just straight up destroyed Real Madrid at times, like score 5 goals and so forth, that looked like it was simple for them as well. So Ronaldo was not the only player, Messi was one too.

However with age and also problems with the managers and presidents and team building, it just ended up with Messi not playing like he used to play.

Instead of Modric, Zidane prepares Edegor. And I think there is a couple of years. Or they will buy a new player for this position. We must also look for replacements for Ramos and Benzema. and as quickly as possible, as new players have to adapt to Real Madrid and Zidane.

Mbappe to Real Madrid and Messi to PSG is quite possible imo. Afaik Mbappe declared he loves Real and wants to play under Zidane management. This would endorse Benzema then in the future it could be a good deal.

Yeah, it is unavoided, he is already an old player even his performance still good. When Real Madrid management plans for the future, he is probably not on the priority list anymore. Also, Real Madrid may have a problem with his salary, it always increases year after year. If any offers from other clubs with good prices, I also can understand if selling him is the best decision.

Now Barcelona is a totally unstable team. A new coach in the team. He is still experimenting with the team. We are seeing different strategies in different matches. On the other hand, Suarez has been transferred from Forward line, and two skilled players like Rakitich and Vidal have been transferred from Midfield. As a result, the team is more restless now with new coaches and players.

I agree,  he is old player but Benzema or Ronaldo are not younger players and they are still the main and irreplaceable players in their clubs.
Modric doesn't play because of old merits but because he is better than other players.
I think he wants to end his career at the next world cup and then stay at Real in some other function.
