Odd is very low, something like @1.36 in favor of real madrid, I don't understand why they are underestimating Granada by placing this odd. Anyway, I'll wait for the first few minutes to see if the odds increase and then I'll bet on this game

i haven't watched all the Barca matches, but was last night the first time Koeman used 3 CB in the backline? the whole team looked really solid with a 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 formation

btw, Pedri seems to be the signing of the season so far, crazy how he's showing more talent/quality in a couple of months than the De Jong has since he arrived last year lol

Granada may have won their last two matches which helped them climb to seventh place but those are against fellow mid-table teams. You also have to look at the other stats like the goal difference,
- Granada [17 against 20 allowed]
- Real Madrid [25 against 14 allowed]

Real Madrid will most likely score while it's uncertain that Granada can. This can roughly explain the odds for both teams.

Barcelona last night played convincingly their best game of the season and that's not because they faced one of the weakest team in the league, there was a better team performance overall on and off ball and there were far more understandable communication between team, Koeman is probably getting it right gradually, after all.

Atletico Madrid are not seeming ready to drop points anytime soon

Yes they played well but they are too far behind with 8 points and atletico with one match less then barcelona so i do not think they can compete for laliga because atletico are doing amazingly well and they are not droping points its a champion streak .

Atletico really showed their steel last night! I won't feel bad at all if they win the league on this kind of irresistible form. Suarez really deserves it.

Furthermore Benzema is playing on another level, and we have discussed about his performances earlier too, but I feel that he deserves a special praise for scoring and assisting in this match, and helping Real Madrid secure another three vital points.

As much as I don't like to praise the enemy, can't deny Benzema is like one of those forgotten heroes at least until they start blaming the team (he is like a Giroud to me).

For any fan of any team, I believe that Benzema is one of the players that they all would love to have in their squad. Great striker and a constant threat for any team. So I can't say that is the "hero of the day" since it's been more than once that help Real to secure a win.

It is incredible how well Sociedad started the league, they have lost 3 games in a row now and they are still third in the league. Obviously they are few games ahead from most of the teams, and will drop soon, but still a great start nevertheless, will probably never have that kind of streak ever again. On the other side Athletico Madrid has been marvelous, and Barcelona is not as bad as people make them look like, they are doing fine.

So, I assume the top three at the end of the season will probably be Athletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona once again but only this time around they are going to probably be ranked that way, instead of Real or Barça winning the league. There are still plenty of games left, let's see whats going to happen, but La Liga seems very entertaining to watch these days, at least we get to watch real competition and not just dominance.

That's the impact of how many points the big teams have dropped earlier into the season, but it should be noted that Real Soceidad have played at least 2 games and 3 games more than most of these teams, they could be down all the way to 7th position

anyhow, Real Madrid fams, where we at!? the team's gonna face a decent side like Granada today,, no Modric but we may see Valverde in the starting lineup, and possibly Hazard too? it would be nice to grab the 3 pts right before Christmas  

Pedri have been such a talent this season, and not just him most of the young lads are doing pretty well too bad for (Ansu Fati)

Yes i think they will win this match even if granada team is doing well this last matches but real madrid are strong in laliga and they won against atletico so i do not think they will waste that oppurtunity and let them gain more points difference and benezema is scoring lots of goals.

They increased their winning series to five matches in the league. I realized that I really missed this Real Madrid. They finally started playing like the real Real Madrid.

I'm very happy that Real Madrid won that game as I predicted, but unfortunately I didn't place a bet on this game because the odds were very low.

and I'm happier too because when I was going to place a bet for the Getafe game I ended up giving up the bet, the game ended in a draw.

I expected Granada to show some restraint and they sure did, especially in the first half. Even though Real Madrid dominated most aspects of the game, It wasn't really an easy win as they had to dig in deep to get the win.

Real Madrid did it, and they likely are going to be the only home team to win for this round, except if Betis are able to find a way past Cadiz

Yep, it's true. Even Benzema and Ramos aren't enough to make Real Madrid play well, they need Casemiro-Kroos-Modric to play together. The quality of Real Madrid's main players is too different than the substitution. It will be a problem if they get injured and cannot play for a long time. Especially for a striker (CF), Real Madrid only has Benzema as the best player in that position. Real Madrid should consider buying another top striker.

Indeed, Benzema as striker and Ramos as defender and scorer are an important part of Real Madrid strategy, dunno how it will perform if those two gets injured for a long time. Of course the players you mentioned are important too. BTW, I heard Mourinho is trying to make a contract with Modric.
Today's 3 points are crucial to tie up with ATM which still has the advantage of +6 points if it will win the other 2 lacking games!

If it really happens, I am very worried that Madrid will start to lose points, especially for the big matches. They are key players, losing both Benzema and Ramos for a long time will be a disaster. Real Madrid has no substitutions who have the same quality and experiences as they have.

He may be a crucial piece of the team right now but even Zidane cannot do anything if the Madrid board decides to sell Modric to any team when the price is right. It's all business at the end of the day and no player is indispensable.

I can understand why Real Madrid board decided to sell Modric, because Modric is 35 years old, which is already an old for football player.
If you look at Modric's contract which will expire in 2021, it is likely that earlier next year Modric will be sold at an affordable price rather
than releasing Modric for free. What is interested in Modric is not only Tottenham but MLS is also interested in bringing in Modric, we'll see
if Modric will soon rejoin Tottenham or choose a new challenge in MLS.
