Barcelona are going to host Atletico Madrid in Camp Nou in four days. This seems to be the most exciting game to me. Because these teams are close to each other in terms of form and performances. They both are struggling to get comfortable wins these days. I think that we will see these teams playing safe here maybe but I'm not thinking the same for Barcelona. I think that they will play an attacking football and they will want to have the most ball possession as always. And maybe they could get a win by a close goal gap too.

Of course the most awaited match this week is Barcelona vs Atletico, especially after the transfer market closed Barcelona managed to bring in
several new players. That are quite talked about are the arrival of Adama Traore and Aubameyang, meaning that Barcelona now have a more
formidable front line, Xavi has several attacking options at the moment. So now I predict that Barcelona should beat Atletico, if Xavi can use
Aubameyang and Traore. So Xavi doesn't have to rely on young players again, we'll see if Barcelona can do much better with some of the new
players they have.

Barcelona looks quite serious in the rest of the end of this season by bringing in several new strikers including Aubameyang on loan from Arsenal. Aubameyang's debut seemed a bit difficult because he faced Atletico Madrid, a tough opponent. Even though Atletico are without new signings in the January transfer window, I don't think it will be easy to beat Atletico. Luiz Suarez who performed quite well with his country Uruguay became Atletico Madrid's mainstay to win three points at Camp Nou.

If the final result will make Barcelona's existence better and outperform the game, I believe that gradually its position will shift continuously to occupy the top 3.

It’s always funny for me to look at such statistics - possession of the ball is 65-70 percent, while the defeat and the number of shots on goal are higher for the opponent. In such cases, possession of the ball only indicates inefficient play. Those times when the opponents rushed to pick up the ball and exhausted themselves have already ended, now the team just steps back and defends.

So long Barcelona can hold on to ball possession and have a good control of their games then we should hope the would also develop strategies on how to send the ball right inside the net. For me all I see is improvement by the day the tiki taka strategy has been their formula in time past and has always been their Winning advantage but currently their strickers aren't doing enough to portray the beauty in their style of Play

Also, even in the past, it has only been successful if your team was manned by superstars (but even then, there have been failures at the strategic level, when the opponent played completely from defense and let Barcelona roll the ball in midfield as much as they wanted).  Pay attention to the statistics - if a team controls the ball for 70% of the playing time, but at the same time it has fewer shots on goal than the opponent, then this means ineffective ball control.

Regardless, Barcelona's new-look attack looks promising, even if it does not have a single star player. None of the players are world-class; they're all average. Real Madrid will be the winners for the time being, although so far their form has fallen. Aubameyang's performance has declined in recent seasons. He is no longer young to be a sticker in the Premier League which we know is one of the best leagues right now. Auba has also only played 14 games for Arsenal this season, so 4 goals isn't a bad statistic in my opinion considering the team was in a slump at the start of the season even though Arsenal are back in good form.

Lalila's caste is certainly below the Premier League, so that will help Aubameyang achieve his good form at Barcelona alongside several players who have speed like Dembele and others. The arrival of Auba to Barcelona is certainly a good choice for Xavi to overcome the problem of his difficulty in scoring goals this season. So I hope Auba can bring good changes for Barcelona. Auba's first match will be vs Atletico Madrid, if possible. But it will be good for him.

Agree with you here now time is changed and Barcelona is facing some serious troubles around them on and off the field, but good thing happened for them after arrival of Xavi now they have some better performance and team is able to grab their good spot in La Liga but now thinking about Mbappé or Lewandowski is not good idea because their debit is already touching 1.7 Billion Euro which mean some good troubles waiting for them in near future having player like Aubameyang is also not bad if he is able to perform some better here and bring back Barcelona on good position surely It's going to help them in near future and their better settlement about off the field issues as well.

When you said "he faced Athletico Madrid", I thought the game played already and I was confused, he WILL face ATM, we still do not know how the game will go. We do not even know if he will be playing as a starter to be honest maybe he will be in the bench for the first few games and only come out of bench as a sub for late game period?

After all, everyone gets tired and when you sub your striker out and get a fresh leg new one, the new striker could run a lot better and defence will be tired, so the other team would have to either sub their defence and get a new one and lose hope for scoring, or they will sub in their own striker as well and hope that their defence can hang on until their new striker scores. That is how football is a lot like chess, and I believe Xavi could beat anyone in this chess game which is why they are doing this well.

Maybe we could watch extra time this time but I believe in Real Madrid to finish the job before penalty shoot-outs.

I also have high hopes for Real Madrid to win their game against Athletic Bilbao easily, but after I saw the injury data, Athletic Bilbao are very good there, all their important players are not injured, this is a pretty bad signal for Real Madrid , maybe in this match I will choose a bet over 2.5 goals, or if possible when the match is running I will choose Athletic Bilbao in the first half.

Real Madrid is good team, and recently they are performing very good but still in this Copa del Rey it's not easy for them as Athletic Bilbao will also try their best for having spot into semi-final, and they are not bad team recently they also play very good games against good teams.

It's been reported that Depay will miss the match against Atletico Madrid but it can be replaced with Adama Traore I don't think Xavi is worried because he has several attacking players after his purchase in this transfer market and Aubameyang is also a sharp striker in the future for Xavi can still expect that .
For me this is a very good change where Xavi wants Barcelona to be able to step up again after a slump but I think it can be in the top 4 and still be in the UCL candidate next season.

That's because Arsenal has no more interest to use Aubameyang's service. He has a very bad relationship with Arsenal management, and it is unlikely to have a better improvement in the near future. So, actually, both Arsenal management and Aubameyang have no solution to this problem. The right decision is to end Aubameyang's contract as soon as possible. For me, what Arsenal did is the right way.

i really salute barcelona even though they are experiencing a financial crisis but they are able to buy talented players

Yep, so far, they can sign some old players who have the status of free transfer or loan transfer. Only Ferran Torres that we can consider as a great achievement in this transfer window, spending €55.00m. It is debatable that Barcelona gets quality players, but surely they can have many players now at least. However, I doubt this transfer policy can bring a problem to players' salaries in the future.
