For more than ten years, Ballon d'Or has been dominated by Messi and Ronaldo. We saw Modric winning the prize four years ago which was the only time a different player winning it in this time period. However considering the previous season, I think the most deserving players are Lewandowski and Benzema. I'm a little indecisive between them but I assume that I will vote for Benzema in this.    Because it was a great season he had with Real Madrid. They became even the champions in the Champions League too and Benzema played a huge role in this as well.

Definitely,Benzema deserves the award,he did what other players could not do,he helped his team win two tittles,the Lalliga and the Champions league which is the most important tittle.Then personally,he won the highest goal scorer,so with all these things,Atleast he has gotten to that point that other players like Messi and Ronaldo got to before winning the tittle. Lewandowski achieve nothing but a very stable performance in the last 3 seasons , we'll see what consideration needed to get the ballon d'or.

To prove who is better does not need to be like that. Examples that have happened to Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Initially they competed to prove who was the best in two different leagues. Cristiano in England with Manchester United and Lionel Messi in Spain with Barcelona.

I don't think Lewandowski would want to go to Spain to compete with Benzema. In my opinion, Lewandowski wants to wear the Barcelona jersey, which has been one of his dreams since the legendary Barcelona times I attribute this to the fact that Lewandowski, a quality football player who will play in all of the world's biggest leagues such as the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, chose Barcelona.

Cristiano Ronaldo was a goal machine when he was at Real Madrid. That's why it's very normal for players to see him as their first choice. His departure from the team was very difficult for Real Madrid. Of course, Benzema had more chances after that, but Ronaldo was also contributing enough in his time. Ronaldo will not leave the Europe and join MLS if he believes he can play at top level. Moving to MLS means accepting that no chance to win Champions League, no chance to win Ballon d'Or or FIFA the best. Ronaldo does not do this until he loses his capability to compete with Messi. He will try to stay in Europe to win another Ballon d'Or. PSG is good option for Ronaldo as they are strong but still need a good striker who can give them enough goals each season. Ronaldo can score more than 20 goals each season that matches with PSG demand.

Haaland was brought by City, Mbappe decided to stay and the new one was Nunez who did choose Liverpool. now their last option if they look at their previous target is Rafael Leao but this is still difficult and probably won't happen because Milan still don't want to let him go.

Yes, for now Real Madrid's young players are showing something extraordinary, such as Vinicius who has performed so well with Benzema up front. Of course if he can deliver like that consistently then his position will be difficult to shift.

If I'm not mistaken, the winner of the Ballon D'or will be determined by voting. It's quite difficult to determine, but I think benzema deserves to be one of the favorite candidates. I have no doubt that Robert Lewandowski is a great player and if Barcelona did not have such financial problems I would have easily said that Robert Lewandowski is worth every penny. But right now is this transfer going to be worth it for Barcelona?

I would actually love to see Barcelona get better defenders and probably get Luis Suarez instead of Robert Lewandowski. Because that is going to be a cheap transfer.
