Whether or not there is Lewandowski, Barcelona must continue to work hard, losing 1 player should not make them mentally down. I just didn't expect the impact of Atletico being eliminated in the Champions League to be so bad, even though for me this is still a normal result. Because even though for example Atletico qualify for the last 16, in reality Atletico always have a low chance of being able to go further and usually only get stuck until the quarter-finals or fall in the last 16.
So, even though Atletico's results in the Champions League this season are poor, it doesn't mean Simeone will lose his place just because he failed to lead Atletico to qualify for the last 16 in the Champions League.

Also, although Atlético are currently fifth in the La Liga standings, the gap in points to return to third or at least the top four is still a possibility.

I think that he will be blamed in any case, taking into account that he is already weeks (even months) in everyone's lips. There will always be people for whom it will not be enough whatever he does, as a coach of such a big team (a bit similar to Simeone's figure lately, and we are witnesses of it in this thread, without going any further.

I like the Spanish philosophy of the game with the strategy of having more of the ball and creating chances from it with beautiful tactical play. Often this strategy will be boring and the weakness is that it is difficult to penetrate the opponent's defense which is super tight, but a domination strategy like this will be very effective if the opponent is playing open.

So far Spain has had many young talents in its squad during the 2022 Qatar World Cup, some of which are Barcelona players such as Gavi, Pedri, Ferran Torres, Eric Garcia, Alejandro Balde and Ansu Fati. I think they are good players in their respective positions, but I don't see any of them stand out as the most prolific strikers.

Ferran and Ansu Fati are good enough, but they haven't stood out as the most lethal strikers yet, but if they work harder then I think Spain will be really great in the next World Cup. Several experienced Real Madrid players also seem to be as good as Asensio, also Morata who played for Atletico Madrid this season.

I don’t think Spain is going to play very well in the World Cup, to be honest. They have not made the best selection for this World Cup in my opinion. And I don’t think I have to explain that because if you just look at the players, the players they kicked out of the World Cup and the players that they have selected, you will be quite surprised. Costa Rica is not a balanced opponent for the Spanish squad, this victory was an easy win for them by scoring 7 goals, 3 goals in the first half and an additional 4 goals in the second half. Let's look at the statistics from Costa Rica, they didn't even get a kick, they didn't even manage to take a kick even though it didn't aim at the goal. So in my opinion assessing the game from Spain through their last game is not very good.
Spain, with its trademark, controlled a lot of matches, and it can be said to be a success if they get a really tough opponent in this group phase, like Germany or Japan, who unexpectedly beat Germany in their first game.
