Who could imagine Girona being number one on La League table? To be fair, Barcelona is not doing well under the XAVI management. Girona has impressed me this season. Its rare for newly promoted clubs to display such planning and strategy. Tenth position is impressive and shows they're a squad to watch. I like that they're about developing a strong foundation, not just winning medals. Their strategy is simple and consistent.

Ancelotti prioritizes youth in his squad. Vini and Rodrygo's performances have been erratic but have given these two players a place in Madrid's starting XI in every match. If these two players can become experienced in the future, then they will be able to provide services to the Real Madrid team for a long time. Ancelotti has long-term plans for Real Madrid. He has largely succeeded. He added Bellingham to the squad as a replacement for Luka Modric. Bellingham's performance has impressed everyone. I mean it is not really a shocking fact that Modric is quite old, and he would not have all that much time left here, so why keep playing him all the time when you have the chance to use younger players to give them more time. If we focus on just the old  good players then we would never improve any younger generation players.

This is why they prefer players like Jude or Valverde or Camavinga etc etc in order to make sure that they are doing fine in the future as well, those players can play at Real Madrid for another 10+ years, that's what matters. Without them, this team is not all that great and can't be really doing anything that would benefit, if you keep putting in Kroos and Modric then how are you going to be ready for the future? You could not be ready for it at all.

Luka Modric is playing his final days with Real Madrid. Modric's 12-year relationship has officially ended. The time he turned 38. Many times, he expressed his disappointment at losing his starting position. While other midfielders at the Santiago Bernabeu have certainly impressed, especially Jude. Injuries to Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni have given Modric more playing time. However, if the French duo recovers and Dani Ceballos regains his playing rhythm, Modric is just a replacement for tired young players.
