This things are part of why I feel Barcelona do not do much to improve because they don’t see yet that they are in deep crisis. Look at Napoli who to me are better this season than Barcelona are languishing in the 8 position in their league. If This thing should happen to Barcelona and they fail to qualify for the Champions league the board will put more effort to rebuild or restructure the club.

I think the fanbase and management know that their condition is still not financially safe, and their lackluster performance and Xavi's upcoming departure show that the club is quite fragile. I believe finishing within the top 4 is necessary for them to guarantee survival instead of drowning in another debt. On top of that, changes can't happen in the short term unless they want to risk their key players getting injured due to a lack of rest.

What kind of effort do you want them to do? Hire a new manager? Recruit new players? Aren't they doing that too? While the result is not that impressive, I think they're doing something right at least. Let's see if they can improve their financial situation too, at the very least they should remove overpaid players who don't contribute to the team at all, plus avoid the same mistake on the next transfer window. Exactly, of all the processes during a match, the most important thing is the winning result and Barcelona proves it with the current emergency situation. I agree with your point that Barcelona shouldnt be in second place because they havent done well. While Girona only has to worry about their domestic season, Barcelona also has to worry about the Champions League. Not to make excuses, but to stress how much work they have to do. As I watched them play Mallorca, I could tell they were thinking about their next Champions League game against Napoli. I know its annoying. They are not doing as well as they should because they have too many things to do. But unlike some teams, they were lucky and made it out alive.

Its true that you think Girona should come in second. They've worked hard, but football is about who takes advantage of chances. What went wrong for both Barcelona and Girona has been very important in this title race. Its fine to cheer for the victim, but we need to look at the bigger picture. He lacks regular time to play in the main squad. Xavi considers Mallorca an easy opponent, and this is a sensible reason to give him time to play in the main squad with the hope that Gulu will get more experience playing in the main squad. Even though his performance is not that impressive, gulu can at least get more time to play and this is what xavi wanted to do. You are correct; I believe Girona has a better chance of finishing in second place in the league than Barcelona does. Barcelona's performance against Mallorca yesterday demonstrated that they are performing even worse than they did earlier in the season, as they struggled to score and were grateful to Lamin Yamal for playing a very hard game and scoring for them.

Since Ter Stegen returned to the game, Barcelona's defense has stopped being terrible and everything has returned to its normal form, which shows how important a player he is in Xavi's team. I think it's quite difficult for Barcalona to win this season. They are 5 points behind Real Madrid but have played 1 more match. Theoretically, if Real Madrid only loses 2 matches, this gap can be closed, but considering their current form, it is quite difficult for this to happen. Lewandowski made an assist and he made an impact in a way at least as I expected.    Barcelona could have been able to get an easier win in the Mallorca game actually. If Gundogan didn't miss that penalty early in the first half I think a more comfortable win could have seen. Anyway I got what I wanted from this game by betting on Barcelona to win.  

Girona are going to play against Osasuna home today. I believe in Girona to win honestly. After getting really poor results for weeks they really need a win. I know they beat Vallecano recently but lost to Mallorca right after. Maybe this game could be a start of a decent form again.
