This is the preferred way for me, too. Especially between teams with more or less equal playing skills, waiting for the complete draft matters a lot. And you can grab some nice odds, too, with live betting.

2 assumptions here.

1 you know what the draft means? or are you listening to the commentary?

2 There is often a few minutes delay on twitch streams. So when it gives good odds during a round often something seems to have already happened (people in chat are calling out the score ages before it happens)

I really hate this part. Is there any way we can avoid that delay. Where are the guys who are calling out the score getting their info? Probably just looking at their favorite booking site live section but that is nowhere near as fun as watching it.

Casters who joined the in-game lobby and streaming somewhere (mostly in twitch) should have no delay.

So try to look for them, maybe you can check by watching in-game first and check the name of the casters and look for them in twitch.


Haha, I got 2.45 odds on Vikin.gg first map winner when HR started losing their networth lead and couldn't end the game. I know Vikin.gg's PL will own the late game.
This is the benefit of live betting.

They don't have a delay because they are the official casters. Others that's finding it hard to look for a real-time gameplay could also watch on them.

Gladly, those supernova, sun ray, cold embrace, and winter's curse are very useful in the late game. While HellRaisers supports only have death ward and assassinate (even assassinate is not really useful).

Did you do live betting on that Ehome vs VG match? I won't bet pre-match on Chinese tournament and Chinese team for some time.

With VP coming back on the third game that's three in a row it's looking like another sweep for you rand as long as Team Secret doesn't pull anything crazy in their drafts.

I know a bookie that does this but they don't always cover every match. Sometimes you could find the real time kill scores on dota tv (ingame). The preview screen would show the updated time and score but once you started watching you'll notice the small delay because of the difference in kill score.

[DOTA 2] Today is the last day of the OGA Dota Pit group stage. We will find out which 8 teams will advance to the playoffs and which 2 teams (1 from each group) will be eliminated. Let’s analyze final matches of the group stage.

OG - flytomoon: OG -1.5, 2.09 @ MY BETSLIP
HellRaisers - Alliance: Alliance -1.5, 1.86 @ MY BETSLIP
Team Secret - Ninjas in Pyjamas: Team Secret -1.5, 1.55 @ MY BETSLIP
Virtus Pro - Team Spirit: Virtus Pro -1.5, 1.70 @ MY BETSLIP

OG is on fire lately. They have crushed Alliance, Vikin.gg and HellRaisers without losing a single map. They are firmly holding 1st place in the group and they will stay 1st even if they lose vs FTM because of the map win-loss ratio. FlyToMoon has 2 wins, and 1 loss, and even though they are performing really well I doubt they can take down OG. Depending on the OG’s drafts and how seriously they will take this match, FTM can take a map at the best. OG ML should be a safe bet here, but odds are low. I think OG 2-0 is definitely possible, even though it’s a much riskier bet. FTM showed good games vs Vikin.gg and HellRaisers.

Alliance already secured top 4 placement and playoffs, it’s just a matter of placement now, if they will finish 2nd or 3rd. And the difference is big, since only the top 2 teams will be placed in the winners bracket, while 3rd / 4th place teams will end up in losers bracket. As I am aware HellRaisers are 0-3 in the group and 0-6 in the maps, which means they weren't able to take a map off any team that they’ve faced. Alliance crushed FlyToMoon with 2-0, and they are a much stronger team now then HellRaisers. HR is in big crysis and downfall and I wonder if they will be able to take a map off Alliance here. Nikobaby is just too good at carrying Alliance. Alliance are big favourites here and again Alliance ML bet is a safe way to go, if you find good odds. Alliance 2-0 HellRaisers is very much possible too, odds are amazing. Alliance needs this win to stay top 2 and get that winners bracket for the playoffs, while HellRaisers don’t have anything to play for anymore in this tournament.

Both Team Secret and Ninjas In Pyjamas secured top 2 in the group B and they will play in the winners bracket of the tournament. Both teams have 3 wins, but Secret didn’t lose a map, while Ninjas In Pyjamas lost 2 maps, one vs Team Liquid and another one vs Team Spirit. 3 of their last clashes went to Team Secret with the same 2-0 scores. I don’t think Puppey will allow any relaxing, and they will try to go for another 2-0. NiP is a good team with good plays, but sometimes they choke too hard in the mid / late game. Very risky bet, since teams have nothing to play for. Team Secret is a big favourite, and safe bet would be Secret ML if the odds were decent, but they are not.

VirtusPro is still in the position to be eliminated, despite their 1 win and 3 losses. Team Spirit has 3 losses and 1-6 map win-loss ratio, but if they win against VirtusPro today, they still have a chance to advance. Last 3 clashes between those 2 teams went in VirtusPro favour. VP is 3-0 against Team Spirit, even though their last match went to 3 maps. This is do or die for both teams, and on paper VirtusPro are a much stronger team. They’ve won against Team Liquid on Tuesday in an impressive performance and I do believe they will do everything to beat Team Spirit with 2-0 as they need that win. Another thing that goes to VP favour is that Team Spirit is on the 7 match lose streak.

Very risky bets today, as those handicaps are the most riskier bet you can do i guess, but most rewarding. Go small!

You can watch the game live from the game client, which means you turn on your Dota 2 client and join the game as spectator. There are some pages / sportsbooks that take data live from the server (pages like dotabuff, datdota etc...), so they have results few minutes before the game ends on the stream.

FTM managed to take a map off OG, so 1st bet is lost sadly. :/

[CS:GO] My picks and bets for today:

North - Astralis: MY BETSLIP
mibr - FURIA: MY BETSLIP

All matches are BO3. I would say that those bets are highly risked. Big favourites are G2, Astralis and FURIA if you want kinda safer bets. Astralis is playing vs Jugi vs decent North lately, so they won't have easy time neither to take them 2-0. mibr has a new player instead of Meyern, and they have lost last 2 matches vs FURIA. They will have hard time today, but maybe they could bring it to 3rd map. Online CS:GO is so unpredictable, everything is possible, i'm going for that. Go low.

Flytomoon really showed up today and gave OG a good run. In the end OG prevailed but it was much closer encounter then I expected. My high stakes multi ticket is still alive and now I need ML from G2 and Aliance. I am hoping for easy games for the favorites and clean 2:0 games without much stress.

That delay really is annoying, virtually impossible to take good live bets with that much of the delay.

I have tried spectating ingame but usually, it has more delay than in twitch. Even I just checked it on OG vs FTM match and ingame spectating has 1 more minute delay.

Yeahhh OG could win that game 1 if they were able to last longer until naga siren is fat. But fortunately, I was able to recover by live betting on the 2nd and 3rd games.

Seems like it's underdog day. But as i've said, very risky handicap bets, go low low low 

HellRaisers took a map off Alliance, after 0-6 in the groups Alliance looks very bad...

but 2 more matches remaining, high hopes!
