I'd take the SP20E, never bought directly from Spondoolies. Only picked up second hand SP20Es, would like a fresh one. I don't mind if you do . Send pm's back and forth with edgar to see if it works out with him. I may get too busy and I am looking to have very little miners. It is better if you take it.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I am interested as well. Let me know if still available.

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function. Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.

No.... they are between generations. I'm sure they are hard at work on next generation chip.

i guess we can say goodbye to ''home'' miners like sp20 SFARDs seems to be aiming at making at least one home miner using a single of their SF3301 chips. Avalon has plans to make a 100Gh/s device based on their upcoming chip. GekkoScience are aiming at making home miner designs based on Bitmain's BM1384 chips. "home" mining isn't dead yet. ( the usual caveats apply ) Zombie... then. Not dead.

Is there an estimate on when the new models will be available for sale?
Any leaks or guesses on performance and efficiency?

They have not announced anything, and no leaks. With the amount of money they are spending on R+D I would guess they are pretty good about keeping it quiet. You can guess all you want though . We just will have no idea if it's right.

If they're relying on 16nm finfet we won't see anything until Q1 of 2016.

I am at my wits end. I had to move some stuff around, turned off PSU's moved a SP20 and now it won't run. I tried making a recovery SD and a Boot SD, none of which work.
Is there anything else I can try?

best if you contact support @ spondoolies sounds as though you may need to replace some hardware

Arms RaceGuy gives you some good insights here. Let us speculate. Bitmain? Do they have the horses to continue? Likely. Avalon? Does anyone think they could continue? Unlikely. What is left for consumers here in this hardware forum? No one else.

He is right! so shut it! read a book or 2 on evolutionism. there is a race all around us from the subatomic level to infinity.... all of us are racing and the big farmers are ahead of us small home miners. some will drop from the race, some may finish, others may be winners....

While I don't believe in a 100% evolutionism I must admit that the quote is good and it applies to everything. Good one.

Anyone have experience asking spondoolies to ship the miner from their USA datacenter? It's been 10 days since I paid for the shipping and the miner is still in their hands, and plugged out. That's $120 out the window. Unacceptable tardiness.
Still nothing, this is ridiculous. 17 days since the miner should have been shipped, and no reply from support after three enquiries. Are spondoolies mining with my unit? At what point can I demand compensation for the downtime? There's a mis-communication between Titan, DHL, and ourselves which we hope to resolve today. We will continue to update you. Well? Still no updates..
