Few more pictures we haven't seen before, found in the SEC filings.

The full merger agreement between BTCS and Spondoolies is here. An interesting quote:

LOL

WOW...  REALLY?

I also doubt very seriously these rigs will be inside the rack of another facility other than BCTS.  They only wanted to announce what they have accomplished.  If anyone does receive them, they will probably have to sign an agreement that would include not telling anyone they have them.

Hmmmmm..... did you settle your beef with them or did they just steamroll you? I hope you are a kinder soul than I am. I would aim for the jugular at this point.

Did you file a suit or "Just talk to a lawyer"?  If you just talked to a lawyer then they don't have any claims.

Hopefully you sent it as time sensitive material so you have proof.  Not just a regular letter, maybe with some tracking information.

@ SPT:  Any updates on pricing/availability of the SP50?  Wink

I don't know if anyone knows...  Maybe...  I say this because those who do know may have signed an NDA before the price was revealed to them.

Yeah, I'm aware that nobody knows - that's why the question was directed @ SPT  Wink

They are not rare, at all.

So how frequently do they occur then, if Phillip's survey was inaccurate?

And one would think if a law suit was in fact filed -as someone else mentioned- it would have been served by post with signature required in a timely fashion.. As any lawyer with a functioning brain would do..

I do hope you get your issues resolved with SP-T.  There may be other sides to the story, but nobody likes to see a reputable company back out of a deal.

That still requires the other party to pick it up when they refuse or avoid it in the first place.

I'm sure the SEC do as well.

So you're not going to back up your claim about SP3x's reliability.  Noted.

As much as I may have my differences with Pekatete, he sure hit the nail on the head when he [in?]famously dubbed your posts as "Waffle".

Highly customised and complicated controllers are a bad idea when you
   a) want them to be as cheap as possible and
   b) want them not to take down your money printer

The SPXX controllers all fail on both counts. You can believe what you want, I'm not going to waste my time or anyone elses arguing with you.

Quote
I think we had a survey of failed SP-tech kit that showed failures were extremely rare. They occur, sure but its not like you can just say the above dogie without a caveat.
That wasn't a real survey or any measure of failed equipment, that was Guy paying for a list of frilly questions like:
  • Is the most trusted?
  • Has the best firmware?
  • Has the best support?
  • Cares most about its customers? [lol]
  • Is the most professional and pays its debts?
  • Would you buy from next
  • Gives value for money
  • Hardware performs to your satisfaction

Other reasons why don't get as many failed reports as you otherwise would:
  • When you have a problem you email Zvi, who emails internally to order a replacement. There is just no fixing those things once they go bad so no point posting.
  • 20-40x less individual customers than Bitmain (which you're comparing them to) so even with the same failure rate you get 20-40x fewer reports.

Who did Guy pay for this?

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function.
Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.

**sigh**

Every time I come to this or most other hardware threads to see if there are any updates/answers I am bombarded with dog poo - it's tiring. Six ugly posts on the last page alone - it's really no surprise that the yap-yapping chiwawa has so many enemies on this forum. I should have kept him on my ignore list when he tried trolling the p2pool thread. Fixed now though:

Nice trust rating btw.........

That still requires the other party to pick it up when they refuse or avoid it in the first place.

Why don't you roll up at their doorstep with one of your fake ID's (not a shitty council one though) & hand it to them personally like you tried with your TAX friend pekatete? I'm sure they will take you seriously........ Cheesy:

Dogie, or should I say Adam AllCock:

I'm sure I speak for many other readers of this thread when I say that I sincerely don't give a shit about whatever your beef is with Spondoolies. However, if you feel you have been scammed/hard done by/mislead or whatever by Spondoolies I suggest you open a scam thread in the appropriate section & make your case there like everyone else does & forum rules require. That way you can continue your vitriolic, imbecilic & cry baby "waffle" & we can all ignore it in peace. Everyone here already knows that Bitmain got rid of you because of your terrible attitude towards their customers & forum members in general, change the record FFS.

The fact that Spondoolies are not deleting your putrid posts here tells me that you are not only wrong, but that they want everyone to see that you are wrong. Your behavior is appalling & embarrassing only to yourself. The worst thing about it is that you can actually be helpful to forum members when you want to be (or when there's money involved), you seem to go from one extreme to the other - schizophrenic almost.

Be nice, follow the forum rules, stop talking FUD & STFU.

what are we discussing here legendary DOG ?
Don't feed the trolls, just ignore them.

is there no update on sp50 ? no more specs still.
No, nothing.

Must be that complete lack of information on their site, pointed at during the initial announcement..

I am still hoping Guy will slip some pics and numbers to us from a warehouse full of SP50s.

I do not believe Dogie has the beef he states he does. I think he has exaggerated the situation and if anything probably took advantage of Spondoolies. Dogie has defended bitmain when bitmain is wrong so many times it has become a blatant obvious trolling type of situation. But, hey, whatever he thinks he needs to do to get demo equipment. Although, I would think how bad it must suck to know your livelihood depends on how much you sell your soul to mash the truth like mashed potatoes.
I also put dogie on ignore. I did such about a week ago. It is really the only way to fly. I wish I'd done such so long ago. I also retract anything nice I may have ever said because the continuing waffle, the continuing to give people bad advice, and in general bad knowledge the crap hound passes around had gotten to be a bit too much for me to "manually" ignore. This is a much better forum experience.

Yeah, more numbers would definitely be appreciated - especially a price guide  Wink

Regarding the mutt - it was my mistake for un-ignoring him a few weeks ago. Browsing the forum became instantly irritating, to the point where I lost my patience above. Now all I see is a wall of red warnings everywhere again - definitely a much better experience, as you say. Lesson learned I suppose  Wink Grin
