I call it 'gene therapy' because that is what the pharma companies called it up until less than two years ago when the marketing people said that referring to it as gene therapy would be bad marketing.  And, of course, it is a therapeutic which works by inserting designer genetics into a person's cell such that the cells are re-programmed to create designer proteins.

If the building industry started calling reinforced concrete 'framing' and rejected the term 'reinforced concrete' for marketing reasons associated with 'climate change', I would continue to call it 'reinforced concrete' because that is what it is and what it's been called from the beginning.  And no, I'm not an academic structural engineer with a bunch of 'peer reviewed papers' to my name.  Just a person with some experience, knowledge, and common sense.

My understanding of the side effects were strictly from the side of spike protein creation induced by mRNA, but there are cytotoxic effects from the lipid nanoparticles that might explain the immediate side effects (pain/soreness at the injection site, some inflammation).

LNP's were the delivery vehicle for mRNA because mRNA is not very stable to begin with, so the notion that that the mRNA floats around unchecked is false. The LNP's seem to stick around though, and activate some inflammatory cellular pathways and induce proinflammatory signaling molecules (IL-1β and IL-6 according to the article).

4 days ago I became a covid contact person and nobody seems to really care about it, even though I might be infected. There are queues for covid test right now and I will be checked the day after tomorrow. I've done quick tests, one showed that I am infected, other that I am not.  Today the doctor called infected person that I've in contact and have told that in 7days period the person is free to do whatever he wants and can leave quarantine. Me, being a potentially dangerous person, can freely walk around, even my certificate is not put on pause. World gone stupid during covid, or not care about it anymore.

Little to no effect on COVID mortality as a result of lockdowns overall. Slight benefit from locking down "non-essential" businesses, though that depends on what one might consider essential.

The cost benefit analysis also must be considered within the context of prevented deaths, meaning an analysis of the number of cancer screenings, drug OD's, depression rates, domestic abuse, etc. and seeing how they compare.

The lockdowns didn't work, and the benefit was not worth it.

Listen to the "experts" they say, who will hold hostage critical data regarding booster efficacy because they're afraid of the conclusions people might draw regarding their purpose. CDC director cites the reason as to withholding the data the fear that people might suggest the boosters weren't such a great idea after all. I'd advise anyone that is waiting on government bureaucracy to prescribe COVID policy review the data that is published already for Omicron on their own, particularly out of Israel. You will find study after study shows limited efficacy of the vaccines for Omicron, particularly among the <50 age group. That wouldn't be a bad thing, normally. Except for the fact that booster recommendations were given out before the efficacy data came in. They were recommending you get boosted before they even knew it was necessary or that it worked. This isn't part of a larger conspiracy, just more of the mass formation psychosis and group think that has plagued the medical community where politics are prioritized.
