The release is planned to be within a month. Do not rely on this though something unexpected might happen and we will only release when everything is working properly.

I still do not understand why people continue creating different blockchains, protocols etc when e.g. Nxt or Bitcoin is out there.
Nxt has a highly active community and developers. Both are extremely open for suggestions, new features, projects etc. As long as people do not create coins with conceptually different consensus algos and different features, I do not see why I would need to invest here.
Have a look at StorageCoin, please. I would call that innovative. But Qora? Where is the innovation?
The only reason I would invest here is to pump and dump the shit out of this coin. But I fear I aged somewhat over the last couple of years to leave that part to others.
Maybe, someone could enlighten me why this coin is innovative.

Time will prove qora is innovative. Huh? Either Qora is innovative or it is not. Adding more time to an idea does not make it more innovative. If you mean changing the idea over time, it is then another idea. As it stands Qora is a Nxt clone conceptually. So, nothing new, nothing spectacular. AND more importantly already done several times.

Investing on the belief that the value of the investment may go up significantly doesn't necessarily mean it is "pump and dump" (even if 90% of the altcoin threads basically are this). Apart from random speculation, my interests in this are: - The code base/architecture upon which Qora is being built may turn out to be more flexible for future developments than Nxt, even if the plans at launch offer no concrete advantages - The stewardship of the Nxt codebase appears fine now, but who knows what it will be like in 12 months - A fatal flaw might be found in Nxt and all its (near-)copycats. Even if independently developed coins like Qora have no unique features at present, it would leave the crypto community with options. Eggs/baskets/etc. Why do Audi sell cars if VW ones are perfectly good for the job?

When the NXT IPO, also many people think it is a scam.

Is number 4. "Password protected wallets that can be recovered/generated from seeds."
a unique feature? I know many wouldn't touch alt coins if they lost their money if they lose a password.
In regard to the listed features, are there some unique things, I'm not tech minded but it seems there are some differences to other major ecosystems like NXT?
TCP?
Would be good to get some opinions from experts.
