Hi everyone, I created an installer for qora version 8 currently for windows x64. Basically it contains a portable Java 7 update 60, so that you don't need to install java at all (it will not be known to the os) and it will only use that portable version. Moreover you get a desktop shortcut and of course can choose the install location. This might help non tech people . This is only the first version, so please report any bugs and tell me if it's helpful at all. Important: No need to trust me, just check the virustotal link below or wait for another computer expert that you trust and that checks the file for you. Download: MD5 d493b34927fcb37d05b5ea881f8cd883 SHA1 5eb17e7edd77f66fd40cef1ef4902b4c50805679 SHA256 e1eff70ae89280eb77d03d4887930147905e8bb3e67889db8c09b0222fcd0ac1 Virustotal check: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/e1eff70ae89280eb77d03d4887930147905e8bb3e67889db8c09b0222fcd0ac1/analysis/1402845742/I do not recommend to use this installer. Very high risk. Well this is just an attempt to make things easier for newbies. If the community or qora himself decides that this is not needed I will for sure remove it.

I took your "maths" and applied it to btc-e btc/USD. I got a "average" of $399. That is pretty bearish. I have liquidated all my btc as it is only worth $399, it is $150 more right now. I'm going to make a killing with this new fancy calculations.....

I'm going to make a killing with this new fancy calculations..... It will not necessarily go as low as that, but when market sentiment is bullish the average price is close to the current price or even above it and usually after that the price starts rising. That's what I noticed anyway from observing order books, take it with a grain of salt.

Hey, your calculation method is so easy to use and nobody else know it until u were stupid enough to reveal it today. I guess u've made enough money to buy an island. LOL

Assuming I didnt miss an update where is the new wallet that was talked about.
I still didn't get what happened when Polinex was going to wait for ok from Qora to trade. Then it just came onto polinex again without word from Qora.
Plus Qora said some updates were going to come, previously he said Qora wasn't safe for 24/7 trading.
So I'm confused if I missed some news or what happened? Now the focus is on voting an implmenting features.
Is the client/network now stable?

Your observations are one-sided and I proved it... except if you're just choosing NOT to share the rest of them... Dude, I divided buy by sell, there is only one side to my calculations, no other side. You wanna do it backwards and divide sell by buy? That would only be possible if the main trading currency was qora, not bitcoin, and will be possible on the Qora asset exchange only if it's coming. On most exchanges the trading currency is either bitcoin or usd.

You can get 10M Qora now for about 5.25 BTC on poloniex. Now's probably a good time...v9 release with new features soon...expect price to rise in the coming days.

I hope you don't trade alts as you will get screwed. The prices on either side does not matter. Have a look at white coin on mintpal. The coin has 300 mill coins. I am preety sure there is a buy order for 300 mil at 1 Sat. Firstly this would double/tripple the number of total coins in existance and secondly make it crazily bearish. Please for the love of jebus tell me you are trolling.

Personally I don't recommend this installer to be used but your attempt is really welcomed. We definitely need an "one click install" for the wallet but this is something that has to do with qora. He will probably create one or maybe test yours, approve it (or not) and integrate it on the next update. Thanks

No. What I posted above is one of the indicators I use for trading, but it's not the only one, of course. It would be crazy to base trading decisions on just one. Even several don't provide a clear picture. Do what you like with this information, including throwing it into a trash can, I don't care.

Even several don't provide a clear picture. Do what you like with this information, including throwing it into a trash can, I don't care. The problem is, you talk about that figure are if it is worth something and you make that very clear. Calling people "butthurt" that say that his number is completely bullshit... Guys, you shouldn't be so butt-hurt on the 17 satoshi, remember it's the average price of all buy orders at Poloniex. Some people are willing to buy Qora at 50+, some at 1 satoshi, average is 17 satoshi. Usually the price trend is in the direction of the average price, unless something unusual happens. Now, let's think together what unusual can happen to Qora?
Look.... This number is extremely retarded. Most poeple would not keep money on exchanges if they know that their order isn't filled soon. So those 20BTC are for a very short part of the order book. If I want to buy at 40 satoshis, I wouldn't put my BTC on there just yet. Also please stop arguing with those completely random numbers....

Most of the voting system has been completed. Some GUI related stuff and the API still needs to be done. After this is done and while we wait for the voting to be activated and for the next feature to be voted on, I will completely focus on resolving issues and small requests.
