Update: Qora opened up finally. 1st I had no connections. Then I closed and could not run again unless I deleted data files again. Qora up and is in sync'ing or so it says. How long does it normally take and will have to keep on deleting data files to open up each time ?

It should sync in a couple minutes. Regarding the need to delete data files, here's what I've observed...if the wallet is 100% in sync with the network and you exit the client, it shuts down everything correctly. If the wallet is out of sync in any way and you exit, it will throw an error and you will need to delete the data folder to restart. The client syncs so quickly now this is just a minor issue until the dev get its corrected.

Good to hear. That is what I was thinking. I am now synced but wallet says 'locked'. Is that the default for Qora? Will I be able to send Qora with a locked wallet, etc, etc? You will need to unlock it to send coins or forge blocks. Just click on the lock icon and enter your passphrase to unlock.

You can always recover from seed in case you lose the PW. You need to unlock the wallet in order to mine POS blocks, and to send transactions. Double click on the little lock.

Huh, I never set an initial password or seed. But I clicked on the padlock and entered a password and it seemed to unlock wallet. I will send 5 Qora to wallet to test Good to hear. You were given a seed by the client and its important. With the seed you can, always, recover your funds, no matter what. Without having the seed written down somewhere you will, inevitably, lose access to your funds some time in the future because of whatever. Write it down, 3 times, please.

The price won't go under 40 much I think. I expect a push to 75 sats at least in the coming weeks when AE gets done.
