What if we have the code audited by various trusted third parties, instead of having the code fully open sourced?...or may be opensource only parts of it...
That way, people can still gain the trust that its a totally new system and we can avoid copy paste clones.
Yes, this is what needs to be done. It would either kill Qora or provide a substantial foundation. The obstacles here are who is the trusted third party and would Qora even do this? I'm sure we can reach out respected long term community members who would be willing to help with this...may be even for a fee... This would give us enough legitimacy in the short term....then ofcourse we can begin delayed open sourcing of the code in phases....may be start open sourcing parts of the code base in about 8 months time and keep releasing it in 'chunks' over a year or so... |

Don't know how possible this is, but I think it'd be super sweet to have an android wallet. Maybe you could easily pay for things. We have a naming service, Maybe we could use it to easily send payments. For example: A kid at school sold you his text book. I send the guy 100 qora right from my phone and he can see he received the payment (instantly?) and transaction complete. Just trying to think outside the box, separate ourselves from the other chump coins. I'm probably stupid. |

42 sat. That's about 25 US cents for 1000. I'm not great at math but it would cost you about $65 to buy 1000 NXT right now! Even with the 10x amount of Qora the equivalent would cost $6.50. So 25: 650 thats 26x cheaper than NXT....and I think its better than NXT.  No disrespect to NXT, its a great system but it shows the possible potential price upside! As a long term investment 5 BTC now might make a small fortune in a year or so if Qora does as well as I have a hunch it can. |

Now in sat:

Anonymity and pretty wallets can wait!
I recommend reading through the chat logs, really inspiring stuff to make you confident that Qora is something special. One guy connected to NXT discussing a big project that he might do with Qora.

Great job with the V10 release, qora! Glad to see the community is coming together. One small request - could you put the Cross BlockChain Trading on the voting list? Or is it too early for that? It is one of the possible features in the original list. It would be great if newcomers can directly buy qora via a decentralized market rather than using a 3rd party exchange for that..
