The GRS block reward just changed from 312 to 293. According to http://coinia.net/groestlcoin/reward.html this should be 10 days from now. I assume this is due to the timewarp thing, and I don't think it's a big deal, but maybe the graph and/or info on the website should be corrected. Or is the fork going to reset the rewards to the expected level? The price of GRS is down under. If an unfortunate event lowered the reward to miners - then this should be corrected - especially if a hard fork is an option. Consider that as my remark to the forcoming hardfork. Thanks for understanding!

Thanks to the pointer given by the Legendarycoin team, i've implemented a new "kind" of faucet... Floppy faucet! http://cryptocoinfaucet.appspot.com/games/floppy?coin=GRSBe gentle plz.... Also, if anyonye is willing... Here's a personal "thank you" address FiWCJUzL1UPFza1PpF7oAcwSUUGohYQNSF Hi! Thank you for this! It is also possible to use "spacebar" instead of a mouseclick. Also, once you withdraw some funds, the amount does not decrease. You withdraw again and it says "insufficient funds". Is it possible to know how much GRS are currently "in the bank"? srcxxx I'm using the game backing wallet currently FeSjdPY3D4Az94XD33hudKtRgim58uuq9G as a buffer for the transactions, but the rewards will be deducted form the faucet's address (which is showing a weird huge amount due to the way wallets handle the balances) FjTNDaXTMExn7WQpFQraV33XTzgaC7BJo3. the main wallet shows 53 GRS, does it sound right? http://grs.42tx.com/address/FjTNDaXTMExn7WQpFQraV33XTzgaC7BJo3As for this address - it doesn't work here: http://grs.42tx.com/address/FeSjdPY3D4Az94XD33hudKtRgim58uuq9Gand shows as 0 here: http://coinia.net/groestlcoin/getbalance.php?addr=FeSjdPY3D4Az94XD33hudKtRgim58uuq9GHow many GRS do you now have in the faucet? Also, how much are paid to people who play the game? Is it based solely on how long they play / how far they can fly or is is multiplied by the total numer of GRS in the wallet? Thanks NOT RIGHT AT ALL! 42tx is estimating weirdly the amount. Faucet has around 3195 GRS currently, and the buffer wallet has 972 GRS (down from the required 1000 GRS). The faucet gives random amounts between 0 to 0.01 each half hour (just increased it a little to 1, didn't remember it was set so low) floppy give max 10 GRS per half hour (a little bit high). This morning the server got quota hit hard, please star this google issue so i can pay the quota overages with cryptocoins thx https://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=10820&thanks=10820&ts=1397702001

I think the problem is volume of trades. On mintpal, volume easily jumps from 20 btc to 1 in a day. It's about 1.5 BTC a day now, pretty low. If nobody buys, the price will go down and volume will stay very low.

Same with nobody selling but the price will rise even with low volume.

I dont care what anyone has agreed. we dont use the term groestlcoin we use the term MYRIAD-GROESTL since the beginning and even now. dont forget we were the firt groestl coin. so YOU should have obligation of stating groestlcoin groestl but we arent making you do it. So please shut up unless you have some actual facts to prove that we are lying. Also i dont really care what you think is superior. We dont come in here normally and tell you, you are liars so i would certainly appreciate it if you didnt either
Ahmed
This is the poster that started this… No mention of Myriad-Groestl DON'T GET ME STARTED… Really? Dont get me started. Its 1 generic poster and suddenly we're the bad guys. What are you guys doing to differentiate from myriadcoin? EXACTLY NOTHING. We have spent a great deal of time and effort to spread the word about the Groestl Algo. Id go into detail but I can tell ur prob not interested. Get real. Groestlcoin is as dead as maxcoin. dwarfpool owns the network and can throw it around like a little child with toys. OK I think I've been nice up till now, so: Why dont you: A. Graciously accept that your Dev saw reason and changed the messaging, and B. GTFØ thanks

According to spreadsheet a 280x can range from ~6 - ~7 MH/s https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hTOUdJZrKqrNDXTIbXgNvJtj_fnpECREcs-eHxaGrZc/edit#gid=0Therefore 6.4MH/s falls within range. I will edit pdf to state a 280x gets ~6.5MH/s , not ~7MH/s, since it is only a couple models of 280x that break 7MH/s thanks p.s. underclock mem to 1000 and push core core to 1150 if possible. Try a different TC for experimentation , see spreadsheet. GPU clock is 1100, mem clock is 1500, undervolted to 1.131v. I have no trixx - as I use bamt (linux). Ok, multiplier is ok, but nevertheless the hash rte is not high enough. 1.If u are experiencing difficulty running suggested/latest miner pls try this tip from the official FAQ: http://www.groestlcoin.org/faq/My AMD GPU is hashing, but no shares are accepted and I don't see my hashrate on the pool. What's wrong? Try adding
--difficulty-multiplier 0.0039062500
parameter to your sgminer command line. If your sgminer reports unrecognized option – please update to the recent version from here If this doesn’t help – report the problem in bitcointalk thread Apologies for not including this tip in the tutorial. Will update pdf soon. 2. What core-clock speed r u running? Have you used TrixX or AFterburner to overclock core and underclock mem as described in the pdf? thanks CH Hi there! For some reason, I am not able to push R9 280x pass 6.4 MHash/s mark. I am using the following miner: https://github.com/badman74/sph-sgminerI am not able to use your suggested miner as it does not submit any shares at dwarfpool.com. The machine hashes and hashes - AND EVEN IF I MINE with your miner and your suggested settings, I cannot push it over 6.3 MHash/s mark. The card is in good shape, I have always able to push it when mining Scrypt. GPU clock is set to 1100, mem clock is set to 1500. Settings I use, are: "auto-fan" : true, "gpu-fan": "30-99", "temp-cutoff" : "95", "temp-overheat" : "85", "temp-target" : "79", "worksize": "256", "intensity" : "20", "gpu-threads" : "1", "thread-concurrency" : "8192", "lookup-gap" : "0", "vectors" : "1", "shaders" : "2048", "api-port": "4028", "api-listen": true, "api-allow": "W:127.0.0.1", "failover-only" : true, "no-pool-disable": true, "no-submit-stale" : true, "queue": "0", "log" : "5", "gpu-powertune" : "20", "algorithm" : "groestlcoin", Iam using BAMT 1.6.0 and I have compiled miners from scratch without any problems. The card is not overheating and I have a good PSU. thats my vry good conf gpu 0 is a r9 280x dual x gpu 1 is a 7950 vapor x setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 sgminer -k groestlcoin --difficulty-multiplier 0.00390625 -o stratum+tcp://grs.suprnova.cc:5544 -u xxxxx -p xxxxxx -I 20,22 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 8192,22336 --gpu-engine 1180,1100 --gpu-memclock 1000,1250 -w 256 I get 13 mhs

Hi dev,we should change it to a POS+POW mixed coin, like NRS
POS can help us keeping the coins in our wallet and it can also help the network. POW keeps the cost of mining and its price wont go down too much.
my idea is : POW-6%->-10% weekly, POS +4% weekly
in this way,we still have 6% reduce(maybe not such simple calculation but something like this), we are not changing too much.but I am sure the price will be as high as DRK!

Hi all!
Yes, I proposed this awhile back. Got mixed replies.
Now we have a platform to do the "official" voting, please state your position here: http://groestlcoin.org/forum/index.php?topic=90.0
PS: And please start moving to the new official forum. The information is better structured there instead of being half about some sgminer problems with screenshots and half about the real stuff.
Thanks!
