People at very excited about Messi at PSG, however there is alway an adaptation period, and I am not talking about just Messi adapting to his new home, but about the rest of the players getting used to what they can expect from Messi and how can they make the best use of his virtues. The problem with his "adaption period" is the fact that dude played for 20+ years in a club, when you consider his youth team era as well it turns to be 20+ years and he played with a single strategy in almost all those years, which was tiki-taka.

I doubt that PSG would be willing to change everything to suit Messi neither, so it is going to be different. Sure we see people change teams, even Kane who played in Spurs for all these years could go to any other team and be good because his "strategy" is to score goals, or Mbappe or Haaland, their talent is interchangeble to any team. However, Messi excels when he plays withing the system and not given all too much attention. I doubt that he would ever be as great as he used to be, still great, just not great as he used to be.

This is a really huge result for them as Marseille were in a really good form then. It was not easy for Lens to be the winner in this match as Marseille made a comeback from 2-0 to 2-2. I'll keep following Lens closely in the coming games also and maybe I can even think of placing a bet on them for some matches.

Lens performance against Marseille was impressive, they were able win the match after Said scored in 71 minutes. Although, this is Marseille first lost match, and they are currently one point below Lens on the standings. The last time Lens played in the Europe League was 2007/2008, I would love to see them play in the Europe League next season. If they keep up winning more matches, they can probably end this season in the top 4.

Messi performance was really quite good in that match and the good collaboration between mbappe and messi managed to bring PSG to win with a score of 2-0, this goal was the first goal scored by messi during his time as a PSG player and I hope that after messi  first goal last night, messi will continue to score other goals in the next PSG matches, besides messi, donnarumma  performance in goalkeeping was truly spectacular and he managed to thwart several chances created by manchester city players in that match, hopefully with good performance from donnarumma in the match it will allow Pochettino to give him more playing time.

I don't think Messi has good performance in that match. He only scored a beautiful goal and shows some signals that he is gradually adapted to the team.

That goal shows that Messi is still here and he does not lose his skills after the transfer to PSG. The first goal ever in non-Barcelona skirt for Messi, in a big match, in Champions League, and against a top club. Good enough.
