There have been two games played so far on this week. Firstly, Monaco played a game away against Lille and it was one of the important games for Monaco to win. Because they were aiming to get the second place and keep it until the end of the season. And they made it although they had some significant problems in this. Because Lille had a good performance too. And in the other game Strasbourg defeated Brest 1-0 away. This was a nice victory for them and they are at the fifth spot for now. I wonder if Nice will take that back again. But their opponent can be difficult this time because St Etienne still can save themselves from relegating.

If Nice doesn't win this game, the chance of finishing the league in the top 5 teams will be very low, they should never lose points from this match. His opponent, on the other hand, may have a chance to get rid of the relegation zone if he manages to score points from this match.
It will be a very critical match for both teams and both teams will do anything to win

Monaco is in the best form right now and I don't think they have to worry about too much right now as long as they like this and keep winning.
The point difference is not too much with nice and the teams that are above them. so I do expect good things from them but they really need to keep winning otherwise they will not be able to finish in the top five let alone the top 4.

Marseille have taken their position back from Monaco by defeating Lorient today. It was a very comfortable win for them by 3-0 also. Lorient didn't have even any shots on goal. But Monaco are still the most impressive team to me these days. They are still on a huge winning streak now and I really wonder if they will be able to maintain that until the end of this season. It might be for the benefit of them too as they can achieve the best position they can.

if you look at the current form I think you will be able to see that Brest are in a better form than Strasbourg and it will be an oversimplification, it also belittles the team if we say Strasbourg is going to win this match easily. But I think Strasbourg still has a very good chance of finishing in the top five.

Strasbourg are at fifth spot with still chance to slip at sixth place because now Nice is also having easy match against relegation zone team St Étienne, so it's very interesting end of this season is going on as PSG is already announced as winner but five teams still fighting hard for remaining four spots which give them European access for next season here Monaco, Marseille and Rennes are fighting hard for Champions Leagues spots and Strasbourg and Nice are on Europa Cup spot nothing is clear, but this bore league having very good end of this season is good for fans of respective teams.

Monaco after very good win run is at second spot with chance of slipping to fourth because Marseille and Rennes both are in good touch and can win their matches for claiming second and third spot but next match which is going to be played on 15th May between Rennes vs Marseille is very interesting for all top three teams as loser can drop to fourth.

Paris St-Germain take on Troyes in a few minutes from now, and am hoping PSG doesn't lose concentration like they did last weekend throwing away a 3-1 advantage only to tie the game 3-3. Of course this match will have a more relaxed approach to it and I am expecting not less than 5 goals today as our Paris giants can't defend  and the boys will be out to have fun

It's pretty clear that PSG don't take their last games in the league so seriously. They are already champions, don't have to prove anything anymore, so why should they still try their best? too much effort could only lead to injuries in the long run, that does not make anyone happy. However, they will not be happy with this season, the focus is on the CL and there they failed again for the umpteenth time.

I really liked Marseille's performance against Lorient today. They completely deserved that 3-0 win by not giving so many chance to their opponent in this away match of them. And they are once again three points ahead of Monaco in the standing currently. The balances can still change on the remaining two weeks too but Monaco have a really difficult job against them to get the second position. Rennes v Monaco match on next week could be their biggest chance to do so.

PSG was the champion for the current time.They had huge background and they had nothing to prove here.The had played many game very well and proved themselves to many of the team.It was the reason for them to participate in the many league.Their was move on to the focus of the CL.When the game was played with the new way of the techniques and motivation is needed.

am I the only one realizing that pochettino is trying a new formation (4-2-3-1). I agree with you that this match (against Troyes) is just a new strategy experiment by Pochettino because PSG have officially won the league, there is no more pressure

but for mbappe this is a very important match, so he can stay strong as the top scorer

Another game this season where PSG were in the lead and seemed to control the game but then conceded goals. This time it even led to the loss of points. It is clear that for PSG it was not an important game, but the problem is that in this way they played even important games this season. These new managers try out new stuff every time but at the end of the season its all wrong timing, let him do this during friendlies or preseason games, maybe he will string something  up that works...for now let them enjoy their championship victory!

PSG 2 - 2 Troyes

And bookies had the draw at 9 odds for prematch betting, and I can only imagine what the odds were after PSG got 2 early goals...500 odds maybe

Marseille team did a good job securing an away win against a relegation zone team we all know how dangerous and difficult they can be the game was not easy as it seemed despite the 3 0 score marseille team did not have more than 9 goal attempts but their attack was effective and surgical this win will make them closer to secure the second position.

And Rennes can take the third position from them also in case they defeat Nantes in two days. Monaco are the most attention getting team nowadays in the league. Because they have had a lasting winning streak like eight games recently. I wonder if this will help them finish the season at a better position. They deserve to be in the Champions League next season I think.

I think it's too late for Pochettino to experiment with PSG now, apart from they have already won the league this season, anyway it looks like Pochettino future at PSG is still unclear at the moment, other than that what @woodie said is quite true if now isn't the time to do is experiment, because there will be changes to the squad next season due with players coming and going, so if he applies new formation now of course he will have to make changes again next season.
The 4-2-3-1 formation is not a new formation for Pochettino, if I'm not mistaken this season he has applied that formation several times such as against Saint-Etienne in week 15, other than that as I remember 4-2-3-1 formation, is actually Pochettino mainstay formation that was often used when he coached Tottenham.

Most important game of the week for me will be Marseille versus Lorient. I mean it's obvious that Loreint is a much worse team and they will end up not being that good and they will lose.

But, the fact that Marseille needs this win order to stay at second position, otherwise going to third means a lot, that's a ton of money lost if they do that and I am pretty sure that manager and the team office would want them to win this game for sure, just so they can keep most of the players and not earn less. This stress could maybe cause them to lose? I am not sure if they would or not, but I am sure that they will want to win for sure. Just a which about them not having an easy game.

AS Monaco most happiness team because waiting until 35 matchday can back to second position standing but Marseille back to their position on second place after success defeated Lorient 0-3 and right now become competitive for 2nd place finish. Marseille have 3 point left from AS Monaco on 3rd position with 2 match left. But I don't guarantee with 3rd position permanently for AS Monaco because Rennes on 4th place have chance back to 3rd position if success win against Nantes on this week matchday.

Strasbourg team was able to get important three points against brest in a difficult game because brest team is hyped at the moment they had good results lately the first half was somehow equal but in the second half strasbourg team was more dangerous and they had more ball possession and they managed to score thanks to gamero Which put them on the fifth position for now.

Brest performance in their previous matches was quite outstanding. I wasn't expecting them to lose yesterday. But, the match was indeed very tough, that both teams really struggled in the first half, but couldn't score any goal. Although, Strasbourg were lucky enough to secure a goal in the second halves. And played the rest match defensively. However, Strasbourg been at the fifth position is just temporarily. They will overtaken if Nice probably wins their next match.

to be honest, what currently catches my attention is the race for 2nd place between Monaco and Marseille. yesterday monaco are still ahead on goal difference from marseille (29 goals) but now their goals are the same because marseille managed to win 3-0 against lorient. only 2 matches left ahead, and marseille opponent in the next 2 matches are quite tough (rennes and starsbourg) so I doubt that marseille will get position 2 comfortably and quietly, they must be very worried

Marseille played very well by beating Lorient with a pretty convincing score. Victory against Lorient is very important. Because this makes Marseille
go back up to 2nd position, and makes Marseille's chances are very big to qualify directly for the Champions League. Now Marseille just need to focus
on winning their remaining two games to ensure they are in 2nd place. The problem is that the two teams that will be faced by Marseille in the remaining
two matches can be said to be quite difficult to beat. Marseille will face Rennes and Strasbourg, with both Rennes and Strasbourg in need of a win too.

We'll see if it's true that Marseille can beat Rennes and Strasbourg, according to my prediction Marseille will drop points in their last two matches.
Because in the last 5 matches Marseille still suffered two defeats, so I'm a little doubtful that Marseille can win in the last two matches, especially
