I'm curious, are there players who are not ready for the new season, moreover Messi is a legendary player who of course Messi will always be ready to start the new season. I actually don't see Messi failing in this regard.
Apart from the declining productivity of his goals, he is also still very helpful in the game, especially the number of assists he has is actually still very good.
The reason why you think Messi failed I think is because you expect too much here even though it is clear from an age point of view that he is not as young as he used to be so it is impossible to always perform well.

According to report, PSG offer Neymar to Manchester city for a possible swap deal with City player, Bernardo Silva but the Premier league Champions declined the deal as City still stand their ground of not allowing the Portuguese to leave. Pep Guardiola wants to work with Bernardo and their is still space for him since he's a key player in the Midfield and nothing can grant City to let go of their key player, especially not now that the Premier League is probably going to be highly competitive for teams next season.

I wonder if Brazil becomes world champion and Neymar does well, will PSG change his attitude towards him? It seems to me that in this case everything can turn upside down - Neymar is not old yet, becoming world champion he will receive a new status. His prospects for the golden ball will appear again. The rumors about Neymar don't sound right as Pep Guardiola has stated them through the conference. Those are rumors that may not be justified and not all the news you read can be trusted.

Manchester City don't need Neymar even though according to Guardiola Neymar is a good player. However, it is still possible for PSG to sell Neymar to another team during this transfer window even though Neymar does not want to leave. Manchester City already have a good squad, so it may be true that Neymar is no longer needed this season.

In terms of ball possession indeed they are now much better, apart from the opponent being slightly different from their level but they are doing well for ball possession, but indeed in terms of finishing it is still not seen how they work now because even if they continue to attack but 2 goals and being paid 1 goal by Kawasaki is clearly a little beyond my expectations.

Messi scored a lucky goal when the ball hit the defender but its still a goal. With how aggresive they played in this friendly they werent wasting themselfs. Kawasaki Frontale also played a really good match against PSG and showed they are at a really big level aswell

But in this case, even if they win, of course there are still some improvements to be made, such as when facing a counterattack and not being too hasty in attacking because this is indeed one of the things they have to improve.
other than that I don't see any flaws from their players because it's possible that the levels are also different so for ball control and the passes provided are very good.

What I like about Manchester City is that they are trying to put togethe a balanced squad rather than making a squad that is all about attacking players like PSG. If PSG also tried to make a balanced squad, they wouldn't have to work so hard to sell Neymar right now.

Actually, Neymar is good but ManCity doesn't need him at the moment because has bought Haaland. As you said, it will be a conflict of interest for the team. Maybe Neymar isn't compatible with the Gartier scheme so they want to sell it. but Neymar is still comfortable, he won't go because no other club wants to pay him a high salary, maybe if Neymar has to go, Hollywood is good because his acting is good also.

I would say, if Neymar doesn't suffer any serious injuries this season, we will see the best performances from the trio of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe next season. Neymar and Messi's chemistry was excellent at Barcelona. If we see this again, PSG is undoubtedly the favorite for the Champions League. I saw players who joined Paris Saint Germain failed to give their best, failed I didn't mean failed to contribute, but their game was below their standard. I'm not sure about this, but I think as long as they don't have good chemistry between the players then they certainly won't find a change. One more role of the coach at PSG is still in question.
