A huge result for marseille team today with a 3 0 victory over angers team in an away game, they managed to break angers team momentum after two consecutive wins, the game was not easy at first, especially in the first thirty minutes angers team was really close to scoring but after marseille first goal everything want in the visitors way, these important three points will put marseille in the lead for now.

Quality was big difference between these two teams and Marseille were at the top of their game with these three points now they are at the top of the league table for one day and with this performance they are only team which can give some challenge to PSG because in last few years we have only these two teams which are doing good job in this league and have no good challenger for their top spots but with this win surely now many are feeling they can go through with PSG throughout season.

Angers is also done good job in first half, but sadly this was not enough, and they have not enough quality to stop Marseille from doing goals as their attack is also at his best now they are undefeated in 9 games and can go with this result for some more weeks now tomorrow we have another big match PSG vs Nice.

From what I've noticed from the French Ligue 1 over the past few seasons is that you really can tell which team are going to have phenomenal season, after about the first 10 games or thereabout, I don't expect them to provide a stiff competition with PSG in terms of the title chase though, but I reckon that they're going to have pretty decent season.

Marseille's attacking lineup has been very strong this season. Marseille won 3-0 today. They have performed very well. But Angers' players did not play badly. With Marseille's consistency in the run of wins and beautiful performances, I think this season is going to be tough for PSG if they should slip away points. It's so clear this season that Marseille is having a good season because they are able to maintain their winning run after 9 matches, so far they have 23 points drawing two matches and winning 7 with multiple goals scored this is a good indication to prove that they are in to battle with PSG for the title this season.  Currently, they are topping the league and with a lost for PSG against Nice today then Marseille will be 1point ahead of them but I doubt if PSG can be defeated in their home ground.

Strasbourg vs Rennes and compared to the recent performance from both of teams obviously Rennes is far better from Strasbourg although this team only can able to get 3 winning from 8 matches but they are in the good shape because 4 times streak no loses and for Strasbourg they still attempts to get their first winning until now but i noticed Strasbourg always be playing poor in the second half and conceded goals several times which makes they failed to win so maybe Rennes can utilized this weakness and for bet option this indeed very risky but i would like to try bet for Rennes win for this match

As you mention we have three teams undefeated until now in this season, but I am feeling we have good changes with few teams are doing good job from the start, and we need good performance from them for some more weeks because even right now this is one of the most bore league in Europe, but current situation can create some good interest which could be good for fans as well as we have Lens and Lorient both are doing amazing job.

Teams like Lille, Monaco and Lyon are struggling for their best, but they have to face tough challenge which is good for entertainment purpose and now in this round we are going to have two very interesting matches which are going to be give better shape to league table for this season first match is going to play between Lorient vs Lille and second is having Lens vs Lyon both are good matches to watch.

Strasbourg's performance this season is so inversely proportional to their performance last season.
Even though at the moment Rennes is still not in the best form, compared to Strasbourg and I think this will be a win for Rennes because indeed facing Rennes with the current conditions is clearly difficult, I think it is difficult for Strasbourg to get out of pressure.

I read as you said that PSG must be very careful at every match they play if not they will be relegated. I was like does relegation have any other meaning in football? Relegation mean to stop playing in the top league and be demoted to a lower League, you would have used another word.

As long as I know, PSG has no much threat in the France League, Marseille will only be able to tell us that they are fit to compete for the title if they can win PSG home and away. We all know that they can't do this, so the league is still for the Giants PSG

Yes, You're right I agree about Marseille, this team still capable of competing in the league for the title, but the real winner is still PSG. Today PSG will also play against Nice, I'm sure PSG will not lose, also currently fully motivated to see the top 1 standings occupied by Marseille. Also anyway, PSG are unbeaten in all competitions this season. Even impossible for PSG to be relegated.

Marseille has secured their first goal in the first half of the game although the need to press for a second because Angers are making more attempts than them even while Marseille are dominating. Marseille needs to make some improvement in their counter so they can score some more goals else Angers might look for any slight opportunity to equalize

The match ended in a unanimous victory for Marseille and indeed they deserved this considering their performance in the match.
Currently at least until week 9 there is a club that can make PSG competitive and hopefully Marseille will continue like this because it will be interesting for the competition for the title.

As you said Marseille really deserved to win, because Marseille have players of better quality than Angers. The Marseille players have
a very good finishing, so the chances they get can be converted into 3 goals. In fact, if we look at the statistics, Angers has a number of shots
that are not much different from Marseille. The problem is that the Angers front line has a very bad finishing, that's why none of the opportunities
they get can be goals. Marseille's victory made them rise to the top position replacing PSG for a while, but at least Marseille's victory puts PSG
under a bit of pressure.

Hopefully PSG fail to win against Nice, so that Ligue 1 will be more interesting. But it is very unlikely that PSG will lose points against Nice,
besides PSG have better quality players than Nice. Nice also have a very bad performance this season, much different from Nice's performance
the previous season. Maybe because Nice was left by their coach namely Galtier who moved to PSG, therefore Galtier, who knows the Nice players
very well, must know how to beat Nice. So PSG's chances of beating Nice are very big.

Marseille's defense is also quite solid here because they don't let the Angers players go free in their defense and obviously this is a good thing because I saw the Angers players get a little frustrated there.
Nice are currently in not very good form and obviously this will be an easy win I think and I am also making a bet here betting PSG can score more than 2 goals.

Marseille keep consistency in this season in Ligue 1 after another winning against with Anger 0-3, however 3 points achievement make Marseille lead first standing position place awhile and drop PSG to 2nd place left 1 points only. Seems happy for Marseille can lead first standing position in Ligue 1 although few hours later waiting with games between Nice vs PSG. However have been long time for PSG keep dominance in Ligue but this season seems different after few points left between Marseille and PSG.

I want Nice can make PSG failure get 3 points exactly can give first loss for PSG and get chance Marseille exist on 1st standing until next week match, little possible to see PSG get crash or loss tonight but have focus on Champion League match next mid-week seem not impossible for Nice can give first loss for PSG.

Losing Gerzino Nyamsi in the middle of the first half clearly meant that Strasbourg couldn't do much and the win was quite striking for Rennes in this match.
Actually for the beginning of the first half I liked watching Strasbourg play but indeed with a 1 player advantage it was clear that Rennes was superior in every way in this match.
This result further immersed Strasbourg in the relegation zone with never a win.

Angers is 14th and lost 3 out of last 5 games, it was expected for Marseille to have an easy one out there, they are at least above PSG for a short while, they should cheer that for sure. I am guessing that PSG will just retake it easily.

Ligue 1 always sees one team to end up fighting harder than anyone else to be the one to beat PSG, Lille did that 2 years ago, and I know that it is not an easy thing and it requires something much bigger than just talent, or money, it requires a bit of luck involved as well. Looking at how in tune PSG seems this year, I cannot see them losing many games, and Marseille has a very very hard job in their hands.
