Surprisingly Rennes was lose from their opponent Reims and before the match begin i was hoping Rennes can continue their good records and earn 3 points but apparently Reims was performing well and can secured points from them on the other hand Marseille apparently can utilized the situation after Rennes lose yesterday that playing at home Marseille can win with big scores from Toulouse with score 6-1 and actually the match looks equal because Marseille isn't too control the game but Marseille playing very effective that from 7 total shot on goals they can makes 6 goals from that and so far this is their biggest scoring win of the season

I am very disappointed with Lorient vs Montpellier game,not because Lorient lost the game but because both teams had been scoring goals so I bet on both teams to score yes and the game ended 1-0 for Montpellier.I love the both teams to score bet but apparently two times I have tried here,one with Angers game vs Ajaccio and one in yesterday game didn't work out for me.I conclude that this league is not a good one for betting both teams to score as most teams here do not play that openly for this bet to come true most of the times.

Nice keep the nerve and not allowed Lens at Allianz Riviera to win this game with both teams were level in performance and quality even Lens were superior in first half, but Nice defense were alert which was surely helpful for them to have one point from this match which is surely going to have good impact on few teams ranking in coming days.

Lens which is still at the second spot behind PSG now having gape of seven points with now in next match they are going to host PSG at Stade Bollaert-Delelis which could be good opportunity for them to cut the gape of points with PSG by four points but if they are not able to perform better than surely this could be more widen by 10 points and this could be surely not good for them and other competitors even if Lens not able to win this match then Marseille could be having good time for replacing them at the second spot because gape could be cut by only one point.

I think the game against Strasbourg will be an easy match for PSG, but it seems that with Lionel Messi absent they are still having a hard time getting a win. Moreover, in that match Neymar received a red card and had to miss the next game against Lens. Maybe in the next match Lionel Messi can strengthen PSG again, he is the figure that the team needs in the midfield, his creativity in providing bait or damaging the opponent's defense is Messi's strength.

I do not like it when a team doesn't play so well and fans then believe it was because of a player that was probably absent as a result of injury or something else, in Messi's case it is the world cup break. In case you forgot psg have also had bad games when Messi played, he is a player than can change everything in seconds, but it is possible that if he was available yesterday, psg would still struggle or maybe even fail to win. If a team performs poorly it is better to say it is the teams fault rather than believe it is because one player was absent. Neymar would have surely regretted his actions, the first offense was an obvious yellow card, and the dive for the second one was clear too, he is a wonderful professional and he should know what is not acceptable, i am sure this will make him really upset and he would put that out in his game when next he plays.

Speaking of strong sides in The French league, Lens is one of the top-performing sides that have shown a shocking performance so far this season. Through out the first half of the season, seeing lens Being above Lille, Monaco and Marseille in the table ,is the fact I can't imagine till date. Defending against PSG would always be counterproductive because they have strikers that can mount pressure on that defending side until they succumb to the pressure. With pressure from players like Mbappe, Neymar and Messi any defense can give up. The best strategy to use against PSG for me is massive defense with a viable counterattacking force. The team must not just focus on the defense but must develop strategies to score.

Len's last match's performance against Nice was not encouraging. They had better ball possession but their attacking force was too weak. If they don't improve against PSG, they would get nothing from that game because I am sure PSG would score goals that Lens might find it very difficult to equalize based on their present performance.

To be honest, I didn't watch this fight until the end.  but as I posted before that without Messi, PSG really has a hard time breaking into their opponent's defense. even Mbappe could only score at the penalty spot, and Neymar made unnecessary actions. in fact, as you said, that a stronger team will not always show its best game and ensure victory in every match.

Honestly? It was a bit of Rennes trouble to begin with. They did not play all that badly at all and we are talking about a team that had the 67% of the possessions so they should have been a lot better. They had the same amount of shots and similar shots on goal but Reims scored a lot more because they had easier chances, whereas Rennes kept the ball and attacked all the time but couldn't break Reims defense at all, not even close.

That is their problem, if they brought the ball a bit back, and had some midfield fights, then they could have attacked easier, but when you pressure the other team to close down, it's harder to score, and the other team could just counter back to you.

PSG pull out of the game victoriously with a 2-1 win their first game after the world cup. Neymar Jr is one of the finest players in PSG, and he's also known for diving in league games. The referee made his decision and his order was final in the game. There was absolutely nothing the Parisians could do or the coach. All big credits goes to kylian Mbappe who delivered the team in injury time of the game. The Parisians were still good despite been 10 men on the pitch.

It was a pretty unexpected result by PSG for me. Because I would have expected them to get a more comfortable win against Strasbourg. Because Strasbourg were not even close to their performance in the previous season. They are in the relegation zone now you know. Thanks to Mbappe, PSG barely scored the winning goal by a penalty and won 2-1.

Lens' drawing with Nice made things even more comfortable for PSG in the league. The point difference is 7 now. PSG can finish the season early anyway even if they become complacent from time to time.

With the results they made in the first match now Marseille is only 4 points behind Lens and that can still be caught.
At the moment, the conditions are quite good, I think for them, especially with a real victory, this will greatly affect the condition of Marseille in their confidence later.
in the next match they will face Montpellier but currently Montpellier is still quite solid in the mid-table but Marseilla are still the favorites to return even though they are the away team.
