I think one of the biggest problems in a team like PSG is t he egos of the players and it is even worse when those players are both competing for the Ballon d’Or. I think there is often a second thought involved when it comes to which player is taking the free kick or the penalty or what decision does a player make when they can score and it is either pass to the teammate or try it yourself. Having two of the biggest alphas on the team can be complicated to handle and this is what he have seen in PSG as well with Messi and Mbappe.

And so the team could not score more than 2 goals despite getting several easy chances. However, the performance of PSG's defenders in this match was very annoying to me. They played very badly.
