I think the coach actually thought that this was not a good result brought by him. I think he set up a standard for himself. And he was unable to deliver up to the standards. So he thought probably someone else might be able to do a better job compared to what he is doing right now. Right now the situation is not very good, to be honest. With the change of manager, it will definitely be hard for players to cope with the new tactics of new manager.

Will the new manager be able to bring good results? Only time will tell. But whatever the new coach does, he will have to bring better results compared to what the last coach was bringing.

 I think he made the right choice because the team lost the Champions league play off under his control and he was not confident of himself to be successful at the club this season so instead of allowing them to suffer this season or him facing the embarrassement of being  sacked due to a poor performances he foresaw, he decided to resign for someone else to take over, and currently the team is managed by Pancho Abardonado, as an interim manager.

 But come to think of it Marcelino's performance wasn't really bad cause they're currently unbeaten and are on the 3rd position in the table with 9 points just 2 points behind the current leaders Monaco, they're even above the league giants PSG so i wonder why he's decide to resign, well let's see what the interim manager brings to the team, if he'll be able to impress the board and secure a permanent job.

It might be argued that Paris Saint Germain are one of the stronger clubs in the Champions League, but the question is how strong are they when compared to the other clubs in the same competition? Not to underestimate Paris Saint Germain, but I would say that they are not stronger than the other favorites. I probably don't have to mention which clubs those are, because I'm pretty sure you can already tell which ones I'm referring to.
I'm not saying this without reason, and one of the factors for me to say that is when I look at their performance in the previous season.

Nice was strong and it can't be underrated at this moment. I think anyone remember that so well how nice was beating PSG away which is un believable result. I didn't even expect if nice would able to get perfect result against paris saint german.
Monaco shall have learned a lot from PSG's game. Monaco needs to be careful with nice's counter attack. I think that the monaco's defenders will become the differentiate between the result achieved by monaco compared with PSG.

Doesn't every coach prioritize the position of the team they are coaching? How in specific did he prioritize rank 1 over rank 2 when the ranking itself implies prioritization? lol, if rhetorics were gymnastics, you'd win a gold medal at the next Olympic games.

Hütter messed up if anything and allowed his team to give away a win in the 8th minute of extra time. That is what he did to ensure rank 1.

So far in the Ligue 1 Monaco have made the best start for this season. This made me quite surprised as I got used to seeing them struggling to go up to top positions. Adi Hütter has been doing a pretty good work even though there hasn't been much time since he started his job here. Maybe Monaco are back to the days of the 2016/17 season again who knows.  

But it is hard to tell whether they can become the champions in the league this season. PSG are inconsistent in the league for now. But how long would this last for them? For example would it be similar to Bayern Munich's performance last season?

If this happens then maybe we can see a different champion again and that could be Monaco depending on their consistency.

maybe some people will say the same thing when a team looks very good at being able to occupy first place and for me it will only be temporary. maybe you say Monaco is more consistent but I dont think so because look at the point difference, some of the teams in the top 5 of the standings still have a very small point difference and also I think League 1 does not have competitive competition yet because I have not seen a team that has consistent performance quality. Since the start of the season and Monaco have never been defeated in the last 5 matches but have only been able to get 3 wins.

I don't think PSG will focus more on Champions League than Ligue 1.  
PSG know very well that the Champions League will not be so easy for them. Chances of doing well with this team in the Champions League are slim, since with such potential why would they take their league tournament lightly. Maybe PSG is not doing that well in the league tournament, but after seeing one Champions League match done well, it doesn't seem like that to me that they only plan on the Champions League. Where their retention of the league title has become a challenging issue, how can they plan for the Champions League only, leaving aside the league tournament plans.  

Maybe they can keep Champions League tournament in second plan with Ligue 1 tournament as fast priority or they can plan both tournaments with equal importance.

Nice is a pretty good side but against Monaco, I see them as the weaker side.
Golovin, Ben Yedder, Fofana are one of the best players in the league 1 and they happen to be striker/midfield players who can score incredible goals, also despite the more injury woes as compared to Nice, I still see Monaco being the better and winning team in today's encounter.

Adi Hütter has been doing a pretty good work even though there hasn't been much time since he started his job here. Maybe Monaco are back to the days of the 2016/17 season again who knows.  

But it is hard to tell whether they can become the champions in the league this season. PSG are inconsistent in the league for now. But how long would this last for them? For example would it be similar to Bayern Munich's performance last season?

If this happens then maybe we can see a different champion again and that could be Monaco depending on their consistency.

Unlike last season we saw from Monaco, they have a good start this time. Because in the last season, they didn't start the season well but still, Monaco had better performance time after time.
The interesting thing about Monaco in this season is about the difference they have with PSG. Because compared to PSG, Monaco spent less money and they don't have good superstar players in this team or a famous coach like Enrique.
