Unfortunately, this match ended with score of 0-1, it was surprising that Nice could get a score in those minute. And with Nice victory, now Monaco position can taken over by Nice, but we still have Brest in 3rd position which could possibly take Nice position too. Nice has been impressive this season, they are can to beat PSG although play Away and Nice also consistent in getting points, that's a very good trend for them.

Not too surprised by either club's slim lead as looking at their strengths in statistics they are completely evenly matched but in this case of course this match is not too pleasant for Monaco.
Losing 1 goal and that at the end of the second half when 1 point was in sight must have been a bit painful.

Nice has become one of the strongest team in the Ligue one so far and I believe they'll be more successful this season than the previous, they've broken Monaco's unbeaten run which makes them a threat to other teams currently because they've beaten the two strongest teams in the Ligue this season, PSG and Monaco and if you check the league table you'll see that they're currently unbeaten and has won 3 matches with 3 draws making them the most outstanding so far, I just hope they continue with this good form and not drop below the top 4 later, hopefully they're going to play in the Champions league next summer.

Right. Brest will have a tough game against Lyon, because Lyon has nothing to lose at the moment and has already had a bad start to the season. I think they even have a good chance to win today. I think the coach actually thought that this was not a good result brought by him. I think he set up a standard for himself. And he was unable to deliver up to the standards. So he thought probably someone else might be able to do a better job compared to what he is doing right now. Right now the situation is not very good, to be honest. With the change of manager, it will definitely be hard for players to cope with the new tactics of new manager.

Will the new manager be able to bring good results? Only time will tell. But whatever the new coach does, he will have to bring better results compared to what the last coach was bringing.

 I think he made the right choice because the team lost the Champions league play off under his control and he was not confident of himself to be successful at the club this season so instead of allowing them to suffer this season or him facing the embarrassement of being  sacked due to a poor performances he foresaw, he decided to resign for someone else to take over, and currently the team is managed by Pancho Abardonado, as an interim manager.

 But come to think of it Marcelino's performance wasn't really bad cause they're currently unbeaten and are on the 3rd position in the table with 9 points just 2 points behind the current leaders Monaco, they're even above the league giants PSG so i wonder why he's decide to resign, well let's see what the interim manager brings to the team, if he'll be able to impress the board and secure a permanent job.

From one point, the decision of the coach does make sense. He may have thought that he was not doing good enough and probably. He also thought that there were other people who would be able to do a better job compared to him. He probably even thought that he might do worse in the future, and he actually got himself out of that before he was even able to bring worse results.

But at the same time, I think he definitely could have done better. Especially if given enough time. And I definitely think that he was not given enough time. He himself did not give him enough time. So maybe he could have done better with the team, maybe he would have done worse. I guess we will never know.

You are right Folarin Balogun missing 2 penalties in the game between Monaco and Nice kept the Nice team in the game, and also ensured that the Nice is motivated to try and put more energy into winning the game and thats just what happened. A late winner for Nice deservedly to go top of the league.

Last night I was so disappointed at Monaco, I never believed they had to lose a game they have already won, I mean what went wrong with the Arsenal man Balogun?
He wasted 2 penalties and I just felt for him, no wonder Arteta never gave him a chance.
A good player who decide to be on the bad side of the fans and I believe he can't get over it anytime soon.
