I think Ligue 1 and Serie A are the only championships from Europe where we don't have a surprising team that is doing very great this season. In Spain we have Girona , in Germany we have Leverkusen and in Premier League we do have Aston Villa.

Today I might even trow a bet on Lyon to win because they do have 3 wins in a row and still a decent team who could produce great football if they want and to be honest , LeHavre have not been solid at all lately. I also can't see Lyon staying in the relegation zone for much longer even if they somehow gonna lose points today or make a draw. 

Can't believe I had faith in Lyon to actually win today and look how that turned out....2 red cards , game being lost in 1st half and also conceding a total of 4 goals which basically put in the back seat again. With this defeat , things got way more complicated for Lyon to save this season and avoid relegation zone.

This result also made Lille reclaim their place before being in 5th place in the standings and now they will try again to immediately displace Brest from the top 4 of the standings in the next match. For Lorient, they have to be more patient in waiting and it is very difficult for them to escape the relegation zone with poor performance.

Lille and Reims profited the most from the defeat of Nice and Monaco to reduce the gap between them and I assume PSG will profit also once they win against Lens to get a securing 8 points at least from the rest.
Lorient defeat was expected since Lille is better and Lorient will not escape from the relegation zone for sure if they continue like that..

For the defeat suffered by Monaco, I think it is still quite reasonable to happen because after all, at least Reims at this moment is also not a weak team t all because previously Reims was also in the top eight . But indeed, a defeat with a score of 1-3 like that is a shameful defeat for Monaco because after all, Moncao also plays at home . But about Nice, which in this season is proud of being a team of title contenders at the top of the Ligue 1 standings but ya, the fact is that Nice can still be defeated and even worse, Nice was not even able to score a goal in this match. Lens seems to be struggling to replicate last season's magic. Despite their strong home form, their season started poorly, and they're not the same team. That's very much normal for me to see Lyon losing a match, Lyon was a good team in the past. I thought they might not do well, but they still tried. Even with a player less, they managed to create two shots on goals, which was unexpected. PSG really appeared to be quite consistent in Ligue 1 this season where they only lost once to Monaco and after that no other team was able to beat Psg this season. So far, 18 matches have been played this season, PSG has been able to appear impressive by achieving 13 wins and 4 draws. With their good performance this season, of course it is clear that PSG will be able to lock in the title more quickly this season because the second ranked team is already 8 points behind them.

Luis Enrique's squad did their job very well in this match by overthrowing Lens, at Bollaert-Delelis, Lens' home ground. with a score of 0-2, it was enough for PSG to widen the points gap from the teams below their ranking, especially Nice who are currently 8 points behind PSG. based on statistics, PSG controlled the game and were better from a technical perspective. overall, Luis Enrique's squad played quite impressively, except for Carlos Soler who underperformed. for the front line, Barcola, Mbappe and Dembelle, played with high performance. with this victory, PSG can be a little calmer with the points distance than its competitors. at least, Enrique can focus his team on several other competitions. especially if PSG is far ahead by a point difference from the team below them, their focus can be focused on the Champions League. and we'll see the next developments, how Enrique will lead his team, especially in the Champions League when they host Real Sociedad.

Something I've noticed in all the years I've been in sports betting is that when teams are having good results while being very healthy financially, they don't spend a lot of money on expensive signings, they prefer to continue with the squad they have until it reaches a point where They have already made a lot of profit and are no longer able to win games, so at that point they go to the market to buy players. and the case of liverpool and real madrid who are doing very well at the moment, they win games and have a good chance of winning their leagues, so these two teams will not spend a lot of money signing mbappe, unless mbappe accepts the offer that these teams want.

Even though Lens played with 10 men, it was still quite difficult for PSG to find opportunities to score because Mbappe only managed to score the second goal in the 89th minute, even though they had previously managed to take the lead through Barcola's goal.
