I think the information is wrong here and PSG was able to score the second goal in the 49th minute of the second half and what would happen if PSG didn't score that goal? of course the result will be a draw. PSG only scored one goal in the first half and were lucky they were still able to increase their score in the early minutes of the second half. But indeed Strasbourg had time to reduce the deficit in the 68th minute and there was a chance to hold on to the draw. After Paris Saint Germaine failed to beat Brest at the Parc des Princes last week, I started seeing posts from different people who were already doubting the strength and capability of the reigning French champions in retaining the league title at the end of the season but I had a contrary view.
Paris Saint Germaine is easily the best and strongest team in the French Ligue 1 and the quality of players in the team makes them almost unplayable whenever they're at their best. I don't expect them to possess the kind of intimidating quality players the current have and not win the the league title this season. Yesterday at Strasbourg, the club's top scorer Kylian Mbappe scored a goal while summer signing Marco Asensio scored the other goal to help the visitors beat their host and further extend their lead at the top of the French league standings.

Strasbourg did try hard to score a goal but none of their forward players could finish it well, which could be said to be less effective. PSG itself played with confidence from the first half, in fact in the first half Mbappe had the opportunity to score a goal via a penalty, unfortunately he failed to take advantage of that opportunity to score. I am totally fine with people not being native English speakers and therefore use words that may not be the proper choice in certain contexts, but talking about Mbappe surviving something is a wild choice if it was supposed to mean something other than him having some disease or so.
