Lyon was gradually becoming a relegation team and we knew for sure that they didn't want that for themselves. Their recent games have been impressive on their side and it seems like there's a huge possibility to be out fully from the bottom zone. They have a couple of games to go and they have to secure at least a good number points to be out of the relegation zone completely even though they're trying better than a few weeks back already.
 
 Hopefully, they'd be able to play more well and win some games and draw some and also avoid much losses too because every loss will affect their chance. Extra efforts and determination needs to be put to the team and they've got face the reality of the battle they've got at hand. No laziness or backwardness should be entertained too. Their league is not so competitive and they normally themselves have the strength before now to compete. There's still high chance for them. Even though the second half still had a long way to go to reverse the score, it looked like Monaco couldn't do much because FC Rouen was really aiming for a place to qualify for the next round.

The quality of these two teams should have been very different and even though they had to go through a penalty shootout, Monaco was still favored to win but the result was a 6-5 win for FC Rouen in this penalty shootout round. Maybe we can't expect much from the Ligue 1 teams in this competition unless we hope that PSG will always give the results we want.

Monaco was having an unstable performance even in the last season and they lost many points against the team we were expecting them to win nad losing all these points made this team to lose the chance to race with better teams at the top of the French League and now they are in the same situation and they lost the French Cup against an unknown and weak team while I was not expecting them to lose in the penalty kicks. However, they are not in a bad situation in the league.

The performance of Lyon in the last three matches shows how improved the team has become and there is no doubt they can maintain the consistency if they keep winning in every game they play because looking at their last performance they don't look like a team that is not ready to be among the top 10 in the league. The coach looks great but he's ability to improve the performance of his team in the next five games will tell if he's really the right man that will return Lyon to their original position. Marseille getting a red card and sharing points with Metz is something I didn't expect even if I stated earlier that I wasn't really expecting much from them but a draw with a red card shows that the game was characterized with some kind of poor and carefree performance but Marseille tried as they had the red card in the early first half and yet they got a goal first that kept them ahead but later got equalized by Metz it's literally not a surprise because it feels like Mets took advantage of the absence of a player in Marseille to get a goal both team had a point but Metz is yet to be out of relegation.

Paris Saint Germaine might not be dominating the European scene like they've been doing in the French league over the past seven years but that doesn't mean that they're not formidable enough to conquer the whole of Europe. They were close to winning the UEFA Champions League title in 2019/20 season but were denied of the trophy by German club Bayern Munich and this season, I think they also stand a good chance of winning the European Cup.
Paris Saint Germaine I think should be proud to be dominating one of the top five leagues in Europe as from every visible evidence, they're still gonna continue their dominance going forward. Whenever we are talking about the French League, there is no doubt that PSG is the team with a lot more power and much better players in this team than all other teams. In fact, PSG has better investors with a richer team they have they are much better than all other teams, I think PSG is the first hope for the title of the French League in any season and this can maybe make the French League a little bit annoying for other people to watch because the first time is clear for anymore and the only goal for PSG is mostly the Champions League.

Marseille was unlucky in that match. They really dominated the game but they weren't able to score many goals. I bet on Marseille to win and score over 2.5 but it looks like this is not my lucky day. I didn't expect Metz to be able to hold Marseille to a draw. This is beyond my expectations. The 1 point that Metz got opened up an opportunity for them to get out of the relegation zone. On the other hand, the 1 point that Marseille got kept them away from a place in the European League and European League qualification.
