I can understand that several individuals are not pleased with Maguire, but he is today Manchester United best center back at the club and no Coach (that wants to succeed) will let such gaffer leave so cheaply. Maguire is not only instrumental to how Ten Haq wants to set up, Maguire is ranked on percentile over 90% for cb with the most progressive passes from the back, shot creation chances by a cb, switch of play and successful balls into the opponent 3rd half, no coach is going to let go of such.

The troubles to Manchester United defense troubles is collective. if and when Manchester United Starts defending as a unit, the backline will get more protection. Signing De Jong is a good step, next is a cdm to balance the pair.

Jacob Harry Maguire is an outstanding defender but this season he just had many bad moments. The 29 years English defender also possess a very good leadership skills which is a plus to his team. Manchester United fans might not cherish him but Barcelona manager Xavi has seen what they are not seeing. Maybe coach Ten Haq has also identified the same unseen quality. If Manchester United desperately want the services De Jong they can agree to add him to deal because they really need him to fill the position of Paul Pogba. But it is glaring that most top class defenders might not consider coming to United because they are not playing in the Champions League next season. Hence getting Harry's replacement might be difficult.

Manchester United does not match Arsenal in terms of player performance. Arsenal are much better than Manchester United last season. Arsenal players who are included in Arteta's main squad are the same, there are no big-name players like at Manchester United. But with another London team like Tottenham, I think Spurs are superior.

I think Arsenal are still better than Manchester United and Tottenham in terms of performance. However, Arsenal only failed in their last 2 matches so they had to settle for ending the season in 5th place last season. Arteta's success in improving Arsenal's performance should be appreciated last season, they were too bad at the start of the season but in the end they got this credit from me.

I agree that Gabriel Jesus will be Arteta's mainstay as Arsenal's goal machine next season.

Jesus is one of the best strikers in the Premier League, he has proven that with Manchester City. But next season he must be willing to play for Arsenal just because Manchester City are more interested in Haaland. Jesus is believed to be good as the main striker at Arsenal.

Matt turner will feature for the gunners next season after been sign to the club. He has already undergone medical in the Emirates stadium, let's see what stuff he's made of. Mikel Arteta is very careful this summer as he doesn't want his players to have fatigue for games, that's why he is only going for you g vibrant players. I like the new project gunners are working on and trust me, its a solid one. Matt turner is the perfect man for the job as he also feature in MLS before going in for Arsenal. I trust him because of his length experience in football space.

so far I was already shocked, but there are two parts that left me much more shocked:

1 - Manchester United declined the offer, and to make it even worse, Manchester United's coach said he need Maguire services, man that made me think: " what good can we expect from Manchester United next season? " already i see the manchester united defense conceding a lot of goals 

2 - What the hell has the barcelona that they want Maguire? Barcelona's defense is already bad and they still want to bring in Maguire? 

Actually Maguire is a good defender, only last season his performance was really bad, but two seasons ago when MU was runner up in the English league and UEL Maguire was really good, plus the England national team also entered the European final.
I believe Maguire can return to his best form next season.

Considering that the transfer window is short and that Chelsea has many issues to solve - this wasn't really the best way forward. We'll see what he'll be able to do - the Sterling deal seems to be on hold for now.

Chelsea haven't been active in the transfer market right now, I think we will see some transfers happen soon but in fact so far Chelsea have not got one player except Eddie Beach who is 18 years old from southampton, even though if we look at the many Chelsea players who have left this season and Tuchel should have moved quickly to cover the positions left by these players, I hope Chelsea movement is slow at this transfer market not related to the stinginess of their new owner, because all this time we know that the old owner of Chelsea is a person who is royal and is more concerned with achievement than business.

If we look at the current squad of big teams in EPL, Man City will be the favorite to win EPL title again for the next season. Man City prepared their squad very well, they fixed the problem of CF position by signing Haaland. Now, Man City squad looks perfect to dominate EPL competition and probably the candidate for UCL winner.

For Liverpool and Chelsea, their squad looks not really convincing after some main players leave. While Man United, it is hard for them to compete for the title with their current situation. They have complicated problems, not only about the quality of players.

Manchester city have invested loads of money in building their squad, they have boosted their attack, midfield and even adding options to their defense line. At this pace, the other top teams can't catch up with Manchester City. This team is very ambitious and their objective next season is to win the champions league and tbh they are looking prepared for that challenge now. Other teams in the EPL are also working on improving their squad so it will wouldn't be so easy dominating the league.

if I were the owner of MU then I would accept this Barca request because looking at Maguire's performance last season it really made a lot of people's heads hurt LOL

if de jong success in getting MU then the MU midfield will be very good, especially since de jong has the ability to move in the middle and below so he will also be very helpful in the MU defense line

in my opinion i also think manchester united should have accepted this offer, i don't know what the new manchester united coach saw in him, remembering that the two previous manchester united coaches and even the interim coach, always put maguire to play, he should be a very lucky guy that even doing serious mistakes in defense still all coaches trust him

Arteta already has a good experience with Arsenal and last season did well despite failing to make it to the champions league, but they have evaluated everything Gabriel Jesus and Rafinha will be brought to Arsenal to strengthen their attacking line they are sure that next season will be tough competition but Arsenal can overcome it all from its previous slump.

the thing about Maguire outstanding qualities is that, despites the flaws in system, poor performances, poor decisions and mistakes, Maguire ended the season as Manchester United best defender of the season. it exposes the poor calibre of partners that Maguire has had to play with if he can outshine other cbs in the club despite his poor season. I think that will change this new season. A fitter Varane and a COnfident Lindelof should help Manchester united more these season

In my opinion, Harry Maguire is not a quality player to play in Barcelona. I don't understand how even Manchester United still want to keep it in their squad. A defender who makes a lot of mistakes. I think they should get a quality defender and send Maguire off the team as soon as possible. I have to admit that I was very surprised to learn that Barcelona wanted Maguire.

Actually, I am going to agree with you on this one because Chelsea is not having a great time with their player management right now. So I think it can be a really good option for him to consider. And I really hope that he does make a move because he needs to realize that he is not going to get any great things done with the current team.

Everton is good but I think the player deserves better. And he is also not going to get any glorified results with Everton. But with Chelsea, I think there is a good chance of him performing better and doing better things. I mean we are talking about the team that finished fourth in the last season versus the team that finished 10th. If I have to choose between Chelsea and Tottenham it is going to be Chelsea every time.

I do not know man, are you sure? I mean he is a good player and all, Chelsea is good and Everton is a different type of team. Premier league transfers are a bit different than others to be fair, they always have this insane sum of money for the players.

I feel like Ronaldo deal is the same, he may go to chelsea according to the talks and I feel like there are some questions about that too. Like he is Uniteds boy, and if he goes to Chelsea he will be hated by United fans for sure, that seems like a difficult thing to do and I am not sure if he should do that or not. Hopefully all of this transfers all happens without any drama, and just pure business deals.

Yeah, they've been very passive and needs to do more some active signing with less talks. Especially with the fact that, most of its players have been signed to other clubs and your talking of the likes of A. Rudiger out to a Real Madrid deal, D. Drinkwater and A. Christensen out and some potential transfer of H. Ziyech, C. Pulisic, M. Alonso and a few others all in tbe market should some good deals come through. Chelsea is loosing so much of its star players and needs to replenish its team.
I was disappointed to learn that, R. Sterling heads Thomas Tuchel's transfer list. Ousmane Dembele and Richarlison of Everton suites better for the teams forward while they look out for more competent players for there defence line.

Unlike previous seasons, Chelsea are still cool in the summer transfer market. Until now, the Blues have not managed to get a single player. According to news circulating, Chelsea are fixing internal problems after being taken over by new owners. With Spurs playing champions league football, they need bigger squad depth full of quality and this is exactly what Conte is trying to bring to the clubside, an attacking depth of son, Richardlison , Kulesevki , perisic is a huge one for any clubside

Richardlison Moving to Tottenham can actually be good for them. I heard that they are trying to get Richarlison and Anthony Gordon both for 85 million. If they can actually end up completing that deal is going to be really great for Tottenham. Both of these players will be able to give the team a lot more stability.

About that I'm not very sure. Because there is nothing guaranteed in the Premier League. But it is the truth that this move will make Arsenal very powerful and help about reaching their top 4 goal. I guess that their goal would be finishing the season in top 4 and they would have a big chance for it this time. The fact that Arteta is still there is impressive because he had a really bad streak in the meantime. I was pretty sure he was going to get fired, but eventually he stabilized the team for sure. It was head to head with Tottenham obviously, but landing 11 points ahead of Manchester United is quite a statement. I don't think it is enough yet to really make it into the top 4 next season either, but who knows. They just shouldn't screw the start of the season right away.
