Even Sven Botman move to Newcastle, I don't think it will make a whole change on Newcastle since their problem isn't on the central back only, the midfielder have a bad player.
At least Newcastle have Allan Saint Maximin who're very flexible player and consistent, both Daniel Burn and Jonjo Shelvey also a good players too.

I believe Manchester City have a chance to win it regardless of the timing. Next season they will have a chance, so I just want to see how far their investment in top players leads to success in the Champions League.

I also see the same thing that the main target of Manchester City next season is the Champions League as we know Man City 2 times in the final and lost in these 2 matches
So the arrival of Erling Haaland is expected to strengthen the Man City attack line. So far Manchester City is the most ready team for the Premier League competition this season while other competitors are still in the negotiation stage.

Anything that  leads to the winning of Manchester city they don't take it for granted, Manchester City always take things serious that is why winning is always close to them. I think you are judging Kalvin Phillips too much and also to a higher ceiling than usual. Manchester City are Loosing Fernandinho due to his old age and ability to play at the top and Kalvin Phillips is not an attacking midfielder, he is a no 6, who plays the defensive duties in a double pivot midfield role, or plays as a second pivot player who roams the midfield base to provide balance, passing options and also starts attack, ofcourse he cannot have goals and assists. Importantly Pep is not signing him to be scoring or assisting every week, He is a fernandinho replacement and he will do an excellent job at the base of Manchester city midfield

Calvin Philips is a player who is projected to replace Fernandiho role in the Manchester City midfield, even though he is still quite young but Calvin Philips is a player who has developed quite well at Leeds United so far, I think he might be able to become one of the great midfielders in the future if under guardiola tutelage, has skills in intercepting and is good at seeing gaps to pass, of course he will be a perfect player in the manchester city center line later.

I think the change in arsenal is very far when compared to when thierry hendry et al played.  currently arsenal is more focused on business just to print talented players and then sell them when the transfer market season begins.  as a big fan of arsenal from the time of coach arsene wenger, arsenal currently doesn't attract my attention anymore, it makes me feel disappointed
