The only loop hole I see in the Chelsea team is the midfield. N'Golo Kanté isn't a mid fielder. This was realized in the super cup. Chelsea would need support for  N'Golo Kanté as a proper fielder. Lukaku is a great signing and a outstanding addition to chelsea squad. Lukaku has improved since his time at inter milan. Romelu Lukaku is a all-round center forward

What a an exciting Manchester United performance to start their 2021/2022 season, I think ole has rejuvenated the team, fernandes scored a hat trick but I think the my man of the match would be Paul Pagba, he has four superb assist especially the one he laid off to Fred for the fifth goal, all round excitement from all Manchester United players, good to watch Sancho play but nothing too exciting, this makes ole boys English premier league top spot, I think after the week's game they would still be first place, because of the goals they scored against Leeds

I didn't get to watch this game but, its really surprised to have seen what the scoreline reading Manchester United 5:1 Leeds, an amazing start indeed.

Chelsea is playing a very quality football with Crystal Palace today. Its just half time and Chelsea is already leading by 2 goals to nothing for Crystal Palace. Marcos Alonso's converted freekick to a goal was superb and you can almost count that, C. Pulisic was sure to score because, his positioning in the game so far has been on point. Somehow, he's been able to free himself of the Crystal Palace defense, you can see that from a back pass he almost caught from M. Mount before he eventually scoring a deflected ball.
I am still expecting someone goals though, Chelsea has been exception.

In the second half it looked like Chelsea would score again, and throughout the first half Chelsea dominated the game and 4 shots on goal and Crystal Palace 0.
there had to be a change of formation and some substitutions at Crystal Palace for there to be an attack for chelsea, and now the second half is underway and the game is getting more and more interesting to watch.

Lukaku isn't even in the subs for this match. But maybe we can see him starting to play as of the next match.

Great performance indeed but I never had a doubt that Chelsea will win this first match against Crystal Palace. They have been very good in all their latest official matches and it seems that they are boosted from their last season's success. IMHO Chelsea is among the four title contenders, especially after the arrival of Lukaku.
Crystal Palace needs a lot of work from Vieira and probably a late transfer or two...

I think Aston Villa are in danger of getting relegated now that they have lost their star player Grealish was the big reason why they scored many goals last season and now they have lost that they look slow in attack which being quick on the ball is one of Grealishs strengths.

It's not surprising to see Aston Villa struggling after selling Jack Grealish to Manchester City. He was their most critical player and had a big role on their successes. Today, they couldn't resist Watford. Watford made the score 3-0. Aston Villa managed to decrease the goal difference to 1 but they couldn't prevent themselves from losing 3-2. It must be good for Watford to start with a victory in the EPL.

The match between Arsenal and Brentford is really surprising, but I do not have confidence in Arsenal matches, they are just on and off, very difficult for me to predict when they can win a match, I only like to choose over 1.5 goals anytime I want to bet on Arsenal, and I also like over 0.5 half time, but this is not a betting advice as it is very risky.

Yes, this season is starting good, but as we all know how season can be, there will still be difficult time for big clubs while some will draw and lose, especially in this EPL that is one of the toughest of all.

How can you be so sure that they wouldn't have conceded if Varane was playing? Yeah he holds good experience and is coming in from a great team but that doesn't means he doesn't does mistakes. He did a lot of mistakes in CL last year when Ramos was injured remember?. It was a great match and United showed the superiority today.

BTW talks about championship promoted teams, they really did well. Brentford yesterday defeated Arsenal and punished them totally for their poor defensive performances and Watford today really did well with Aston Villa scoring 3 goals and get enough cushion to give them 3 points in the end.

Manchester United and Chelsea have proved their mettle very well. Manchester won 5-1 and Chelsea 3-0. Their dominance in both matches has been realized. Now I look forward to seeing the performances of the Liverpool and Manchester sites. I believe they will win, but I want to see how much influence they can have on the opponent.

Well, I partially agree with your view with regards to Aston Villa performance against Watford, however this is just a start of the season majority of the clubs in EPL had not pick form except the top teams, the fact that Villa sold Grealish shouldn't be used as the yardstick that the club will struggle this season, football is a team work not based on individual, there are other players who might perform well and put the team in a better position on the table, the fact that Arsenal lost their match yesterday shouldn't be also used to judge them, I still believe that the losing clubs will go back to drawing board and make amendments.

This is Manchester United. In the first match, they informed everyone that they are worthy contenders for the title of this season. Manchester was leading 1-0 in the first half. Leeds United scored the second goal of the match in the 48th minute of the second half. Then began one of Manchester's most extraordinary attacks. They scored 3 goals in 50th to 60th minutes. Pogba has 4 assists goals.

@kro55 while I’m happy to see the scoreline 5 - 1 but for me they’re not title contenders for the simple reason James, Mctominay and Fred are in the playing 11. Also against a deep defending opponent they’ll be exposed, so don’t get your hopes up too much, however if they drop those 3 and play Sancho, Van De Beek regularly then only I’ll consider them as title contenders.

This is barely the first match. It is not their main team, wait, we can see the Manchester United team in a much stronger form. Yet we are compelled to appreciate their performance today. Cavani-Rashford's attack. And with Pogba-Fernandes-De Beek in midfield, the team will be more stable.
