Captaincy is a leadership .. a player who selected as a captain must have that leadership traits , otherwise ... there you go harry maguire for you.
Im more to cristiano instead of de gea , you know why ... clearly the level of cristiano leadership above every single united players.

Yes, Chelsea actually have to sign a new center backs for next season, they seem short already in that position with the departure of Rudiger and Christensen, i am yet to see any rumors of any central defender being targeted by Chelsea or linked to the club, maybe Tuchel and his scouting partners are yet to identify a defender of their choice, but it is much better they get on with their summer business early, other title contenders are already stepping things up, and acquiring the players they need in the positions they feel they are lacking. If Chelsea must compete with City and Liverpool next season, then they must make good signings this summer, or else it is going to be a two horse race again.

I'm very happy for Harry Kane now by the way. Before Conte arrived Tottenham, they had really serious problems and Harry Kane was also having a terrible period of time in the team. Harry Maguire should consider himself lucky for even staying for at least one more year. After his terrible performance in the season we have left behind, I wouldn't keep him in the team if I were in Manchester United's place. He had a very low level of benefit to the team and they conceded many goals especially because of him. We still don't know what Erik ten Hag will do about him though. Maybe he will decide to send him suddenly and it would be a good choice in my opinion. But I think he is likely to stay now.

It would be surprising if people thought Maguire game was good. Everyone can see it with their own eyes, but always provides a blunder for his club, is a threat to his own goalkeeper, and a test for the Manchester United squad in general. Next season Erik Ten Hag should rest Maguire more on the bench.

De Jong is one of his targets, but I don't think the armband will be given to him especially because there are still players who are more senior than him ^{[if he is actually signed].} De Gea is far more worthy in my opinion to be captain, but only if no one else is willing to stay long at Manchester United.

I'm not sure about him but he has a chance to do well as club officials expect.

De Jong is a good player but I think United can find better. From better I mean someone who can turn out strong and even better after gaining experience and  getting good training. Reason I am saying this is because I don't like the price tag for which United is trying to acquire De Jong as we have seen lot of big transfers failing for United recently. United wouldn't want another one.

de Jong is a very talented player. If Manchester United decide to sign De Jong at a higher price, I don't think they will suffer. Manchester United should now look for a player who will be able to coordinate quickly with the United team. There is no shortage of talented players in the United team. But the bond between the players is very weak.

Manchester city tried last season ,they were unarguably the best teams in the league.They scored more goals than any other EPL team,but they almost lose their tittle to Liverpool at the dieing minutes,but thank God for their players,someone like Gundogan came on the game and changed everything about the game,he scored the first goal,and revived the teams spirit again,and finally,they won by 3-2. In an attempt to defend their tittle again,they have signed Haaland from Durtmund,a striker in his prime.Next season will be another excellent season for them.
