It was a surprise to read that Harry Maguire will remain Manchester United's captain next season, as confirmed by Erik ten Hag. Whether the team is ready for his captaincy will be interesting to see. We continue to support the captain fully and will give him our full attention. At United before, he couldn't succeed because of a policy, but under Erik Ten, he'll be succeeded. To inspire him, all he needs is a reasonable and sensible coach. Let's wait and see how things turn out.

Maybe Erik ten Hag sees that Maguire has the potential to be even better but unfortunately, maybe Erik ten Hag's views with the other players in the squad have differences. But yes, after all, the decision must be respected, because with mutual support it will make the team grow more solid. Erik ten Hag has become a coach who has become a hope for Manchester United and hopefully the results are as expected, because if the results are far from what was expected then it is very easy for Manchester United to continue to change coaches.

Now, these type of things really gets me to question the decision of the management. I don't see any solid reason why Harry Maguire should be the captain of Manchester United again in the next season. If anything he should not even be on the team in my opinion. He is really one of the worst defenders I have ever seen in the English Premier League in my opinion.   

I know that decision of a Court has to be respected but I really don't know how I am going to respect this decision. I do have high hopes from manchester united especially with the new boss but don't think this guy being The Captain is going to work out.

After Arsenal's interest started for N'Golo Kante, I see that Manchester United have also decided to intervene. Kante is one of the best midfielders of the Premier League now. Aging doesn't change much for him for now. Chelsea wouldn't like to lose a player like him because this would cause them to be weakened in defense more. By the way I understand Manchester United's interest too as they are already after Frenkie de Jong too. They must be aiming to sign one of these players for sure.

Why do Arsenal and Man United try to sign Kante? They must know he is a key player for Chelsea, it is almost impossible to sign him. As far as I know, Chelsea has no other defensive midfielder that has the same capability as Kante. Even if they have Jorginho, Jorginho still can't play at the same level as Kante. I am really sure that Chelsea won't lose another key player after they lost Rudiger. Chelsea must be aware that they must keep the quality and the quantity of their squad if they still want to compete for the title in the next season.

Kante's contract is only one year left with Chelsea, then last season Kante also suffered several injuries, so his performance has decreased slightly.
However, it is reported that Tuchel was quite satisfied with the contribution made by Kante, and decided not to sell Kante in the transfer market this
summer. After all, Fabrizio Romano reports that rumors that Arsenal and Man United will buy Kante from Chelsea will not come true. Apart from Chelsea

CR7 declared his intentions to leave ManU. He didn't join the preseason tour which can be explained by a familial situation he got as it can be considered as an indirect message to the staff.
Ten Hag announcement was the direct one, when he said that he had discussion with CR7 and he didn't talk about his intentions to leave..
I would say nothing is clear with CR7 but I won't be surprised when I see him playing under another club next season.

Things get really mixed in cristiano situation , the personal issue that causing he is missing manchester united pre season are too coincidence with his desire to leave united while ten haag cover it up by announcing it to the press that crisyiano is clear not for sale.

Could be a hard fight if cristiano want to leave and there is a club made an official offer but united rejected it all.

Jurgen Klopp seems contended with his present squad after signing Darwin Nunez as a replacement for Sadio Mane. It was a big loss for the reds but they need to keep pushing after all, players come and go. Rumours circulating that he wants Jude Bellingham in his squad. Klopp is a very calculating manager and wouldn't go for a player which he knows is a star and get him signed and then dump him or denied him regular play time. That's why he isn't going for Bellingham yet, and moreover Jude Bellingham is not even available in the transfer window.

With Liverpool recent squad, I think the team is good to go, despite the exit of mane, the team is not looking weaker, though it was a big loss for them but they actually replaced him immediately with Darwin Nunez and that was a good replacement for him. With the team recent squad, I think they are well ready for the season, cause they have one of the best squad recently in EPL.

I believe City will be champions again, they haven't lost any of their mainstay players, but they have instead bolstered their team with exceptional additions like Erling Haaland, Alvarez and Phillips, i think City are having it better in the transfer market this summer.

Even now i can tell you that, that decision didn't seat so well with Klopp. He just couldn't offer Sadio Mane what he wanted and that is, a higher pay cheque and Sadio Mane wanted to test new waters as well. Coupled with the fact that, it was the champions of the Bundesliga that was bidding for him and a playing time isn't much of a problem. Sadio Mane remains a big lose to Liverpool for now until proven otherwise with the teams performance when the season kicks off. Although Klopp remains a good coach and am sure he would manage it.

Chelsea are looking for every option they can find to fill the space in their defense as soon as possible. de Ligt, Koulibaly and Kounde have been the most speculated defenders so far. Considering that he is just as talented as Koulibaly, even younger than him, he might have been a better option for Chelsea. Filling Rüdiger's vacancy will not be easy.

Maybe you have a point about that. However Chelsea are in desperate need of a centre-back now after Rudiger and Christensen have left the team. Especially Rudiger's departure has affected Chelsea defense deeply. They must be ready to pay whatever amount is needed to sign a proper centre-back currently. I don't know which one is better now. Is it better to pay around 90 million euros for de Ligt or to pay this amount for Koulibaly? de Ligt can play for long years while Koulibaly is much older. However there is a huge gap between their prices.

there is no doubt about the quality of cristiano ronaldo. even though he is not young anymore. but cristiano ronaldo still shows his good quality in every game. coupled with its high popularity. so it is natural that many are after him. De Ligt is a better defender and he’ll fit Chelsea. Age is nothing for defenders. So Koulibaly at 31 isn’t aged for me. Thiago Silva came to Chelsea at 36 and he’s still playing at top level, so €34M for Koulibaly is nothing. Both De Ligt and Koulibaly are regarded as some of the best defenders in Italy as well as in Europe. It will be very much difficult to make a choice between who Chelsea should prioritize. But considering a few reasons, Koulibaly could be a better bargain for Chelsea than De Ligt. De Ligt's transfer fee is relatively high, and also one quality you cannot buy in the transfer market is experience and Koulibaly tends to tick the box over De light. Koulibaly seems to have a better overall defensive contribution than De Ligt.

This is a defender bench player we are talking about and defenders rarely worth a lot of money, bench ones certainly do not. They could get like some 20 year old potential kid, and could end up hoping that it would work out. Liverpool have lost the most important figure in their squad, the combination of Mane, Salah and Firmino always works perfectly, Klopp can calm down a bit if they play together. Losing Mane did not make Liverpool out of competition for the trophy, overall Liverpool are still very strong, but a little limp because Mane is no longer with them.
Nunez is a good player, due to his excellent performances last season, he is always the main topic in the football news. As a new player, he has to adapt to Liverpool, I think the language barrier will be a major problem for Nunez to communicate with other players.

I do not understand your logic. Senior players are not talented? I would say every star player is talented. How do they become experienced if they are not talented players? But now he may decide to stay at Bayern Munich after resolving the issue with Bayern Munich.

Although injury marred or reduced the consistent world class performance of N'Golo Kanté but selling him would be a great blunder. Chelsea might have other good defensive midfielders but the influence of Kante on the midfield cannot be overemphasized. His strength and inestimable stamina has not reduced. If Chelsea let Arsenal clinch him, then he would be a great asset to the Gunners. Chelsea has been very unlucky in the transfer market this season, hence it is very important they keep or retain the players they currently have.

Indeed, injuries sometimes make players decrease in quality. That's commonplace. It should be that if Kante gets into trouble it's possible he can get back to the best game. But also can he will not perform well. So there are two possibilities that will happen.
Maybe half a season of seeing him was enough for Tuchel to provide a chance. But at the moment I think it is still not appropriate to sell it. I really like him because he never gets tired of running.
