I can't wait for the league to start tonight. It should be a good opening game - and I'm curious to see how the Arsenal team will perform after doing well in pre-season.

I will be betting on Palace to win - I think the start of the season is the best time to catch favorites off their guard and Palace is a decent team that will cause them problems.

No need to wait longer, the league is right here with Crystal Palace and Arsenal to kick start the league. Although, I can't seem to place a bet in favour of Crystal Palace after seeing what players Arsenal have brought into there team during the transfer and the result they've archived with them in the pre-season games. It's hard to not see Arsenal trying to make the most of this first game to gain all 3 points. Not taking full advantage of there early fixtures of last season was some of there greatest mistakes althoghh, they later got better towards the end of the league but, am sure Arsenal won't start today's game with a lose.

I agree, Arsenal will start the league much better this year than last year. They know the mistakes they've made and they realize the value of getting off to a good start this year.
Their opponent is not a very good team, I am sure they will start the league by winning 3 points.

There is a possibility that Ronaldo will be substituted for the match against Brighton & Hove Albion even though Cristiano is fit. Erik ten Hag is rumored to be setting up a trio of RMS considering that Rashford, Martial and Sancho have all looked so promising during the pre-season tour.

Yes even though Arsenal played very well in pre-season, but Crystal Palace has great potential to win the game. It will be an interesting match to watch I agree that. Because besides we want to see how Arsenal play in the league, of course we want to see the surprises that the English Premier League usually shows. The league we have been waiting for, we will soon see.

Arsenal do have a chance to win their initial match because the opponent they face on paper will be easy for Arsenal to win, especially in pre-season Arsenal performed quite well by beating their opponent, so I believe Arsenal team will easily beat Crystal Palace. I think betting against Arsenal is the best option to play irrespective of their good performances in the pre-season games Looking at Arsenal's past two seasons in the EPL, Arsenal has always lost in their first two games whether at home or away so I think coming to this season, Crystal Palace will likely get a win at home as they host Arsenal who will be looking forward to getting an away win and also starting the season differently.


The risk in the game depends on the performance of Palace today if they are able to withstand the pressure from Arsenal's attack, I see them getting all three points regardless of the form of Arsenal.

I think that it's not good to underestimate the low tier club like crystal palace. I meant since gabriel jesus became on fire after he was coming to the arsenal and people can speculate if arsenal can win easily against crystal but you must not forget that if sometime the club like crystal can also give a big surprised to the big club like what happened in the last seasons. These days the small club in EPL became even more and more competitive since there are so many big clubs bought players from the small clubs.
The small clubs have more money to build its team.

If the bookie doubts Arsenal to win then the odds are @2.xx, so far I think the odds are reasonable because Arsenal are also playing away. Also, the home team's odds are @4.2x which I think is a reasonable comparison as this is also the opening match which of course will still be difficult to predict. Unless Arsenal are playing at home, then the available odds may be too high, but if you choose to bet then choosing the option for goals over can also be a good choice such as over 2.5 goals or whatever.
