What? based on the head to head Chelsea mostly won against Tottenham and the match will held on Chelsea's home, so it's make sense why Chelsea is the favorited club. But IMO currently Chelsea performance is quite decrease then their past, I think I would bet for draw since I see the chance. Maybe it would be ended 1-1 or 2-2 considering how Tottenham have better striker, while Chelsea have better defender.

Their game is still quite good compared to last season. But what they need is more than that, meaning that there are still many things that need to be addressed, such as problems that are still felt internally, the chemistry between players. Players should also be aware of this, because the chemistry that creates is them, the coach only helps in the process. I wouldn't expect much from Manchester United, for this season to see them better than last season is a good achievement.

From the starting eleven made by Rio Ferdinand, Lisandro Martnez's position is suitable as a Defensive Midfielder. In Harry Maguire's position, I think it would be better if replaced with Eric Bailly. In Diogo Dalot's position, it seems better if Victor Lindelof fills it as a right-back.

Those two differences are difficult considerations for me, because although Chelsea have a good defense they are old. Indeed, old age is not a problem for them because they have proven it but when they have to play against a stronger team then I think Chelsea's defense can still be broken in the end. I was also pretty sure before that Chelsea would win or at least draw, but I still refrain from betting because I have a feeling that Tottenham can win the match and may take other options.

Judging by the way Chelsea played their first game against weak Everton, and Tottenham's amazing start to the season, Chelsea will really be their first strong opponent... Because this season's London derby will be held at Stamford Bridge in the second week, so many bets are on Chelsea because they feel confident that Chelsea will win this match.
Last season's London derby belonged to Chelsea who managed to win over Tottenham at home and away. In the EFL Cup competition, Chelsea also managed to beat Spurs.

I like the formation and the selection that Ferdinand pick but I will like to make an adjustment to it, I will prefer wan Bissaka to play the holding midfield instead of Martinez, Maguire should be bench he is playing with a lot of pressure so Martinez should pair with varane, I don't know if Marcus rashford had a bad game against Brighton but if that's his normal self then he should be drop for Elenga, the Sweden international has more fire in him.

I also agree that Tottenham are in a better shape than Chelsea now. Both teams are managed by wonderful managers of course but Tottenham have made a better start than their opponent. Playing in Stamford Bridge is really an advantage for Chelsea but we all saw how capable Tottenham are against the biggest teams of the league in away games. If Chelsea don't be careful about it then Tottenham can even win this game. I'm thinking of making a bet on Tottenham's double chance.

Looks good actually. Martinez playing as a holding midfielder is a new position for the player but I can see why Ferdinand has put him there. Martinez has good vision and can find players from his lob pass. Eriksen and Fernandes position also seems good. The thing is there no player as attacking midfielder to link while in attack so in that case either  Fernandes or Eriksen will have to switch to attack roles at times and move back while defend so they have to cover lot of ground. The main problem is Maguire in there. I am still not convinced with the way United are defending right now and to have Maguire in there brings a lot of problem there. If Maguire is switched to some other player then I can see it working out.

But we all know Ferdinand and ten Haag are different and it's upto ten Haag if he feels up for it.

Rio Ferdinand had to include Zidane Iqbal in his version of the starter eleven to face Brentford in the second week of the Premier League. The young player who plays as a midfielder can replace Bruno Fernandez who wastes too many opportunities. Zidane Iqbal's duet with Eriksen could be a suitable formula for Erik ten Hag against Brentford rather than installing Fred or Scott McTominay like last week.
