This week United will play against Brentford. On paper a good game to get a win, but that's what they thought last week when they opened the season at home against Brighton. I think there will be a lot of criticism of ten Hag if he also loses this match. It will be a while before the transfer window is closed, so will Ronaldo just sit on the bench for 3 weeks until he can come in? He will be missed at United. In retrospect, his return was a big failure, but you can't imagine that in advance.

this manchester united coach is also not changing anything, now i understand why cristiano ronaldo insists on leaving manchester united, he already realized that they only changed the coach but nothing changed that because manchester united remains with the same players that did not produce positive results and we are seeing that they already started the premier league losing, and in this next game they will lose or draw but I doubt they will win. this season it's already clear that manchester united doesn't have any chance of going to next season's champions league

Chelsea - Tottenham game can hopefully be a competitive one. Tottenham might seem like they started the season by a better result. However things can change a lot when it comes to head-to-heads. And Chelsea have a quite big dominance against Tottenham there recently. Because of that I would prefer Chelsea to Tottenham in this game if I have to make a choice.

If their fail to win this time that will mean a market for C Ronaldo

Manchester united match on Saturday should be a must win for the club. They deserve to win in order to keep the new managers hope alive. They deserve to win in order to awaken the team confidence. They deserve to win for the fans in order to give them sense of belonging again. They deserve to win in order to shut the media up. They deserve to win in order to make Ronaldo stable and theh deserve to win in order to remain united. I wish them good luck.

Man United is under enormous pressure, they must win in the second round of the Premier League. Although the majority of Brentford players
are mediocre, Brentford is not a team that Man United can easily beat. Because in the previous match Brentford managed to draw with Leicester,
so Man United really have to play cautiously against Brentford. Many negative things will happen if Man United fails to win against Brentford.
I hope Erik ten Hag can take the previous match as a valuable lesson that never underestimate the opponent that will be faced. It was very visible
when facing Brighton, Erik ten Hag did a lot of experiments, this made Man United lose. I hope Erik ten Hag makes Ronaldo and Varane a starter,
then Harry Maguire should be kept on the bench. It's like you said Man United deserved to win and hopefully Man United can beat Brentford,

At this moment it is hard for fans to determine the position of their clubs because most of the clubs are still in the first leg of the tournament, and some smaller clubs may seem to have higher points than bigger clubs because they are lucky to have won the first match. Maguire will end up in the benches if he continues like that.. I wasn't aware about what happened before the game, he put his teammates in the wrong side before entering the field. Well I don't see a big problem personally but apparently he pissed ManU fans..

The problem of the wrong side isn't a big matter, we can ignore it. The big problem is Maguire often makes some blunders during the match. He makes Man United defense looks very poorly organized and easy to penetrate. Even Maguire sometimes looks like to help the opponents' strikers to succeed in making a score. This feels very silly, especially when it is done by a team captain. The whole Man United players and fans have lost trust in him. So, it is strange that he is still a captain of Man United squad this season.  

Yep, CR7 deserves to be the captain, it surely will boost his morale and motivation to give better work. But Ten Hag seems never trying to trust on CR7, he prefers to give more chances to Maguire. lol

The odds say it all , chelsea much more favorited due its head to head in a couple of seasons they are better, no wonder bookies putting that price for tottenham which i think chelsea are going to win with a close score sheet like 2-1 or 1-0 , i expect there might be a lot of goals scored though.

Or yeah... of course spurs surprises the bookie by hammering chelsea just like they hammered southampton last week, that's all.

Im doubt about manchester united can handle next match easily. The internal problem can't be solved easily and that needs more time to go. Ronaldo may not go anywhere as so many team already rejected him. He may always stay in MU. The only problem if once ronaldo didn't become starting line up and this was also giving a huge impact to the MU

Chelsea might have some challenges this period but the team cannot be written off in that match against Tottenham Hotspur F.C. In that match we would get to see the technical prowess of two of the best coaches in the English Premier league. I guess if the score will be draw. I personally will not see that if totenham will be far superior than chelsea but judging the result from the first match in EPL and both have the same power. I will believe if both will be getting draw in the next match as both are having same potential squads even chelsea may be less a bit compared with totenham caused by it has not yet got its wanted player to play for chelsea. indeed chelsea is still not at its best performance and still needs a lot of adjustment. But I want to see sterling in this match.
but in the match chelsea against tottenham I do not dare to predict. because I was still a little confused at the beginning of this season. I haven't seen the real strength of either team. If I compare the quality of the players that both teams have, then I think Manchester United are definitely more favored in the match against Brentford. But I can't guarantee that Manchester United can win the match considering they lost the previous match, not because it has to be the same but maybe I need to consider that to judge their next match.

I admit that Manchester United weren't too bad against Brighton, they had chances to score and they dominated ball possession too. But until the final whistle sounded, Manchester United failed to score even though it was assisted by Allister's own goal which made the match end 1-2. For the match against Brentford, I think Manchester United's chances of winning are a bit bigger even though Brentford didn't start the season badly with a 2-2 draw against Leicester.

Manchester United wants to keep Ronaldo in the team. Ten Hag is yet to add a replacement for Ronaldo to the squad. So it's easy to guess that Ten Hag will want Ronaldo to be part of their match plan next season. Ronaldo is almost 38 years old but his fitness is quite good. If he can play well, and if Ten Hag can solve the problems within the team, maybe Manchester United can qualify for the Champions League.
