Good point and another thing that ever since he arrived at United their confidence in defence line has boosted up which was necessary when the team was making so many mistakes in defence. He has not become a strong central defender but also who is around boosting team's morale. I think he has all the qualities of becoming a captain of that team but there are lot of big names around before him so he has to stick at United for a good amount of time unless he is lucky as Odeegard is at Arsenal.

One of the key players that brought in a change is Eriksen. Despite what he has gone through, he still is performing his "A" game for a team such as United. He is more like an attacking midfielder but he has adjusted so well as defensive midfielder at United. Yes, I see Ten Hag able to make a positive change for the game from Manchester United. Apart from some of the players mentioned who can perform well, the way they hold the ball and create attacks is also organised. They are very calm when holding the ball in defense despite the pressure from the opponent, although there are still minor mistakes, but that they can improve game by game. In attack they build up more from the back and all the players are involved in their attack, which they didn't do last season.

You are making a good point, I believe that the leadership of Erik ten Hag in Man U would yield good fruit with time. I feared for the future of the club at the beginning of this season just as Erik ten Hag assumed office, to the extent that bad records were broken against them, it was that bad. But things are changing gradually though they have a lot to still work upon.

However, the defence is only better than before, yet there are still some lapses at times that they need to correct. And it would be nice for them to push forward more than before in their matches, their attacks still slack.
