Mikel Arteta took the Carabao cup game against Brighton like an unimportant one. The team that was fielded gives you a hint of how the manager values the tournament. Arsenal made 10 changes from last weekend game against Chelsea and fielded players that don’t usually have regular playing time. I expected this kind of result because I know the quality of Brighton and I’m not surprised that they defeated Arsenal. 

But isn't it? I mean Arteta was right about this, he didn't really have to care about it and nobody would be furious if they failed, and they did fail and nobody cared as you can see. I am sure that all the fans are looking at the league title as a possibility and do not care about anything else at the moment.

Doesn't mean they will be champions neither because City is right there and with one loss, they will be back down to second, a bad few weeks and they would be a lot lower, so they are still at a very risky spot right now. Let’s see what will happen, the league is long, there is a world cup in between, and we will see how well they will be afterwards.

I don't see Manchester city drawing this match,they are very consistent this season,and because they want to go above Arsenal in the league before they will go for world cup,they won't want to draw this match at all.

I'm also not sure about the draw for Manchester City vs Brentford because basically Manchester City are the better team based on the chances and the quality of the teams. A draw is likely to be ignored by most people, it's a wasted choice if you want to get some advantage out of the match.

I chose Manchester City to win not without reason, other than they are the favorite team then they are the team that will benefit as hosts in that match. Honestly I don't think Manchester City will drop points, it was the best choice for that march.

Man city will win Brentford this is no doubt because the team will want to top the league incase their rival Arsenal loses their  next match. It will be a clear victory for Manchester city as I see this match as a work over for them
 
Arsenal will also do everything to make sure they win wolves to keep the club on top and I believe this is possible, with the recent consistent winning of the gunners shows that any club that comes their way presently will be dealt with,being first on the table is every clubs desire

What do you expect of bettors when the stat is clearly in favour of Newcastle. Bookies are giving higher odds to Chelsea not just because most of their players are on injury nor their bad form, they are playing away and Newcastle has been more consistent with their games. Have several excited match for watching and I don't absent for last games at Primer League. Today Manchester City will open Primer League games matchday 16 against Brentford, seems not any difficult way for City get three poinst again actually with home match.

Arsenal have away to Molineux Stadium against with Wolves, chance for Arsenal lead standing position until International break if beaten Wolver, actually rival team Manchester City on the paper not faced hard way to win and three points achievement on away match secure first standing position awhile until one months later.

I am not worried about the Manchester United team. Manchester United's performances have been completely erratic this season. And their front-line squad has not been consistently performing well. Manchester United team won against the top team Arsenal in the league. But they have also lost against weaker teams. And so if Manchester United build their second-tier squad, I don't think their performance will change. I think United's match against Fulham will be a draw. And in this match, Manchester United players will try to draw by playing defensive strategy.

I also feel the same way about United this season^^. They have improved their defence but in attack they need to work a lot to score goals. I also think that game against Fulham will likely be a draw. Fulham are a good side and they really have good attack with Willian, Pereira and their main man Mitrovic. It will be quite some task for De Gea to protect the net. Unless United finds two early goals I don't think United are gonna comfortably win this one.

Even if Ronaldo becomes the lone striker again I'm not sure Man United can start with two goals he does have many chances but often fails when facing in front I also doubt how Ronaldo and Rashford are spearheading him.
But they will work hard to create chances to score goals but I hope the defense can fortify better even though we say Man United's defense is much better because there is no denying that Fulham's attack will be more dangerous than Man United's attack.
Still I'm still worried about the draw, but I want Man United to win still what @Minor said is also true.

Manchester United can't get many wins in the recent times. They got only two wins in their last five league games. The Aston Villa loss must have demoralized them a little more. There is only a few points between Manchester United and Fulham in the league standings now. This will be another challenging away game for the Red Devils.

Mitrovic is a big threat to them with 9 goals in the league now. They will need to be as strong as possible in defense. Besides there is a possibility for Ronaldo, Antony and Sancho not to play in this game. There are some important missing players among defenders like Dalot and Varane as well. I don't think of betting on them as a result. Maybe I might give double chance on Fulham a try.

Fulham especially Mitrovic is a bit of a hassle because he is one of the strikers who is good at taking advantage of positions and it is proven by the goal contribution he gives, he is currently third in the top score.
But on the other hand, when you saw the fight that Manchester City had with Fulham last week, Ten Hag certainly knew what he had to do.
I would probably bet on Manchester United in this match.

This is the first time ever in years that Arsenal actually have a real shot on winning the EPL so Arteta's decision on abandoning the Cup is actually good in some sense. City will be playing in the Cup as well as Champions League so its much more competitive compared to Arteta's squad that only will be playing on Europa League

With the help of Emery, it looks like Aston Villa are going to be in rise from now on. But it might be too early to say this too maybe. However I really liked their performance against Manchester United last week. It was really unlucky for Emery to start with a very tough game right away in fact. But he still got the win by a very satisfying result. He is just making every team he goes better in a short time.

Their upcoming game is an away one against Brighton. This is another tough game for Aston Villa. After a bad run Brighton started a winning streak. They won their last two games and one of them was a 4-1 win against Chelsea. Actually Aston Villa beat them here last season which can be an advantage psychologically. I won't bet on Aston Villa but maybe they might get another win by a big morale boost thanks to Emery.

Manchester city on paper can easily beat Brentford in tomorrow's match because Pep Guardiola will field the perfect squad for the last game ahead of the world cup in order to get 3 points. pep guardiola seems to deliberately not play Erling haaland when they face chelsea in the league cup which confirms that pep guardiola really has full energy for tomorrow's match. Moreover, this is an away game which will have a pretty good impact for Manchester City to get full points in front of their own supporters. Besides that, I think Erling Haaland will play from the early minutes and hope that he can score many goals in this match.

Newcastle are also doing very well this season. Arsenal and City, of course, but they are much bigger names with a much bigger history and achievements in recent years. Look like Manchester United having good intention to be having domestic trophy, so they are doing good job in EFL Cup where now we have just four top rank teams which are serious contender for the last spots but now after break Manchester City will be host Liverpool and Manchester United will be faced Burnley and Newcastle United is going to host Bournemouth even any prediction is not possible because any team can upset but right now things are favouring Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United could hot contender for this cup we have nine Premier League teams remaining and in this round most chances we will be lost two more and 6 or 7 could be in quarterfinals.

They are aware that competing in the EPL is now a bit difficult, so playing seriously in the Europa League and EFL will certainly be much more worth it while improving performance in the EPL.
Their target may be in the EPL still pursuing a position in the top 4 but of course this will also be a bit of a hassle because there are several teams now that are actually still one of the candidates there and have good competition especially the season is still long.

Newcastle have been one of the best performing and most surprising teams in the Premier League this season. In their last four matches in the Premier League, Newcastle have always been able to reap full points. They managed to beat four different teams in a row Everton 1-0, Tottenham 2-1, Aston Villa 4-0, and Southampton 4-1.

Chelsea who have lost two consecutive Premier League games and lost one in the EFL Cup/Carabao Cup, will have a hard time at St James Park, especially since Newcastle's performances have been very consistent this season.
if the Potters are unable to put up a fierce fight away at St James Park, Chelsea will be Newcastle's next victim.

Newcastle are doing well in the league. They have won their last four games in the league. They managed to score at least two goals in all matches except the Everton match. I am fascinated by Manchester United's game. They have shown great skill. Beating Aston Villa would not have been easy had not all the players in the team put in a great performance.

Unfortunately this happened in the EFL not the EPL and it seems they really want to be more serious in the EFL this season because it is clear from the competition, of course the EFL is much easier than the EPL considering that big teams rarely prioritize this competition.
For example, Arsenal let their substitutes and young players play because they want to focus on the EPL and Europa League. This had to be put to good use if the Ten Hag wanted to chase the trophy.

Newcastle is definitely going to beat Chelsea. I’m not going to gamble on Chelsea to even get a draw in that game.
Firstly, Looking at this Newcastle side, we can see that the team’s success has been built on a steely defence, having conceded just 11 goals with the best backline in the EPL this season. They can create chances and score goals and the same time avoid conceding goals. I don’t see how Chelsea will get a win when they haven’t been creating goal scoring chances. And I don’t think they will get a goal against this solid Newcastle defense.

This Newcastle side looks like a rebranded team this season, they have indeed strengthened important positions in the team like their defense, midfield and even their attacking options. The manager also has been able to bring out the best in the available players at his disposal. They are now able to create many chances and score more goals than the previous seasons. Going against Chelsea this weekend will be interesting and we shall see how well they can play against Chelsea.

If Arteta is the manager of Chelsea or Manchester United i am sure he already been sacked long before and this what makes Arsenal different than other big teams on Premier League that their management looks didn't give a lot of pressure to their manager even last season when Arsenal had poor performance period and most people will predict Arteta will be sacked but Arsenal management has patience to him and today they already feel the results that after long period process Arsenal finally can able to compete along with Manchester City for the trophy

When you work as a manager I feel it is important to have the backing and support of the top hierarchy to perform, if they are able to trust your strategies it makes it easier for the fans and players to follow. Arteta was able to earn the trust of the management that is why even when things were rough and some percentage of the group were singing Arteta out! The management stood firm and supporting him cause his project and vision was  clear and in same direction with that of the management which is not the same with Chelsea and Manchester United.

In addition to that, I would like to add one more thing. In my experience, I've seen that sackings happen quite quickly at big clubs. The reason for this is that they generally do not have the patience to wait. The reason doesn't matter, if a talented team isn't performing well, then it is always the coach's fault.

It must be said, however, that Arsenal have shown remarkable patience with Arteta. And in this season they have also backed him up with the money that he needed. As a result, he is now bringing in the results he promised.

Furthermore, I am quite sure that he would not have received this kind of support and encouragement if he had been managing Manchester City or Chelsea. In the past, I have always doubted Arsenal's ability to win the English Premier League title, but this season I am really hoping they will emerge as champions.
