Judging from the statements from Ronaldo in the interview, it shows how disappointed he is with the club management and some top hierachies in the club including the past interim coach Ragnarik and the current boss Erik Ten Hag which he accusses of disrespecting him. I wouldn't blame him though because he has been maltreated at the club and feels this was the right time and platform to make his feelings known. As far as I’m concerned, other Manchester United players have done worse than this and were still not banned from the club, I think if any punishment should be given it should be a fine or two match ban but Ronaldo hasn’t been playing so a match ban wouldn’t matter.

Too early to draw any conclusions, you first need to find out who will be the new owner. For example, Chelsea only benefited from the fact that they were acquired by Abramovich. Maybe Liverpool will join the club of oil clubs and will bathe in money  But another scenario could also happen if the new management is something like the management of Arsenal/Borussia and thinks only about profits and not about titles.
