Nope. Betnomi can't be bothered to respond to scam thread so I'll just post here. In general, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5419897.msg61267416#msg61267416 looks familiar. Passed veriff, like me, but Betnomi reject advance documents. Course it's "multiple accounts" excuse to the rescue. And there is the other recent two scam threads, which don't go away just because Betnomi backtracked and paid. All initially fraudulent, what a coincidence. Actually every accusation against Betnomi is somehow fraudulent, they must have the worst luck in the world.

Anyway, looks like the "I'm not biased but..." shtick dropped pretty fast.

Is there a reason why Betnomi Poker freerolls are capped at 100 participants?

I mean it's quite disappointing. Registration opens and they are full within minutes. Never made it into a single of these freerolls.

It would be cool if you could increase the number of participants here, or maybe even offer exclusive Bitcointalk Poker freerolls. But that might be a bit too much wishful thinking. Haha.

I mean it's quite disappointing. Registration opens and they are full within minutes. Never made it into a single of these freerolls.

The traffic for freerolls are pretty packed there and yeah one of the reason would be to limit number of people multi accounting in those freerolls. Back then it was limited to 200 players iirc and alot of them ended up sitting out for few minutes so Im guessing some people might have been multi accounting with another account

or maybe even offer exclusive Bitcointalk Poker freerolls. But that might be a bit too much wishful thinking. Haha. 

They used to do this on the previous poker series managed by Yahoo but Im not sure if they'll do the same stuff with the upcoming series

It is best to wait a few seconds before the registration starts. As soon as possible, register immediately. This is how you manage to be part of the free rolls. Anyway, that's how it works for me so far. Have been able to play some free rolls there. It's working fine again today. I've signed up for two three free rolls so far.

Yes, the blind times do not allow slow play. You can definitely see that there.
I know that too well with the all-ins. You call with high cards like A/K, A/Q etc. and you play against 4/8 and lose because the 4 hits and you don't hit anything yourself.

I haven't noticed the tournament yet. Yes, it looks interesting, but I don't like playing with that much chips.
In addition, it will certainly be very time-consuming and, like with you, time is often a factor that I do not have. 
I'm happy if I find enough time to participate in the bitcointalk poker series. At least it won't be that time-consuming and the games will be real games and not all-in parties.

I've got alot more example but yeah its definitely not a field that I would love to play at

GTD tournaments with high prizes are often long games, with a lot of chips and a long late registration period what we can expect. But if you check the prize distribution for this tournament you will see how nice they are... especially for the top 10 places. And good about this specific tournament is that there are no re-buys.

I guess to play and be at the top we need a lot more than just time... energy and patience to endure, it's not easy to play so long and be focused entire time, where one little mistake can cost you hours of playing.

Oh, I thought that was limited to the free rolls. Thanks for the info. Otherwise I haven't played any other poker tournaments on betnomi. When I have more time, I might give it a try.

I actually think that's a good thing. No re-buys definitely make the game attractive. But as already written, playing with so many chips just doesn't suit me. No idea why this is so.

Yes you are right. That's why I don't like games that take too long. Eventually my concentration will go away and I'll start to get bored. Games that last two or three hours are ok, all games that last longer become exhausting for me.

Everybody can see Betnomi is paying you to defend this scam, and Betnomi even already published a passport from a user who wrote on the forum. That is what Betnomi is doing, keep away from this trash scam site! Their license was terminated by their previous licenseholder because of fraud

Ah congrats! Haven't been so lucky yet, but I am not online all day to check the registration, haha. Is there an overview of how many freerolls there are on Betnomi and when registration for each freerolls starts?

Thanky you! Yes, unfortunately you have to be online to be able to register quickly.  

You have to click on tournaments and select freeroll there. Then you will see all freerolls. The freerolls usually start at the top of the hour, but there are always some in between. You can register one hour before the freeroll starts. So if you want to play at 11am you need to be online at 10am to register. This unfortunately takes a lot of time, but it works. Wish you the best of luck for that. Maybe it will work sometime.

I only use the web version. As far as I know there is no extra desktop poker software from Betnomi. At least I haven't noticed anything like that before.
