May be Betnomi did not have a great start but they learned from their mistakes, took the community seriously. They have contributed enough in the community and so far built a good reputation. Although they were not in the top 5 of my gambling websites but I did use their site few times and all went well with me.

Yes, there are some issues we are seeing with them from few days or weeks but hopefully they will come back strong again. It does not feel good to lose a product which has given a lot to the community in the past.

What do you mean precisely by shady practices? Because even some of the biggest (crypto) casinos have shady and dishonest practices. Only few casinos have a perfect reputation actually. Do you have a link showing those past claims? He would interest many customers.

I agree with you because we have hard series of complaints about multiple reputable casinos and there is no doubt that some of the complaints are left unresolved and that have tented their reputations in the past but after that they continue to offer their best services and build their reputation until the berries those shady records with the legit practice on the long run.

It is not a death roll to make mistakes as a company,  but the ability to convert those mistakes into opportunities to build a good reputation around of makes the journey worth a while.

However we've been through this type of thing numerous time in the past, site operator promising everything is going to be okay then somehow they disappear afterward. I know few people that havent withdraw their poker winning before the site went offline though so I sincerely hope they are going to be back in business soon( or atleast until everyone got their money back )

If they are not allowing new deposits then it's obviously positive. Clearly they don't want more liability.

I would not want to judge everyone with the same meter. There are real people behind every successful project. Let's hope this time it will be different and they will indeed come back stronger than before. The domain itself will have a huge brand value.

Well, my case was rather more anecdotical than an issue; although I did feel that the way things were handled was... far from ideal.
You can also check a few of the issues efialtis/btcgosu had as a partner; with changes in the affiliate system an a rather big falling out about some money when the results were positive in the casino. I'll copy pasta from the website:

Betnomi previously had an affiliate program, which – as we happened to discover – was eventually scrapped. No information about this was ever provided. In parallel, a new affiliate program was launched on a separate platform. There was no notification about this at any time either.

Our players were neither migrated nor did we receive any information. We were also no longer paid for the activities of our players. It can even be assumed that our tracking links went nowhere for months. Needless to say, we were not compensated.

Anyone who acts so unprofessionally and basically steals from us definitely and without any doubt deserves to be on our blacklist.

@arallmuus while it’s true that many site owner’s disappear without a trace but I’m yet hopeful that people will recover their money as the communication line’s are once again open. Also, till it’s proved that there’s zero chance of recovery people should not give up and continue making noise on this topic and hopefully better sense will prevail and everyone will recover their dues.

I have had both positive and negative expereince with Betnomi casino, pretty much like any other online casino. It is evident that their main objective is to generate profit from gamblers while providing a conducive gambling environment and notthe opposite. But recently their team hasn’t been active here and we saw several issues such as very slow withdrawal processing which was the reason i stopped gambling with them and delays in verifying accounts as many users claimed here.

While I cant really claim that they are not scammers, if they were it is unlikely that they would continue to operate their casino online and accept deposits instead of pausing the casino . But the main concern here is the lack of communication from their team on Bitcointalk as they use to do in the past and to announce anything regarding specific dates for their upcoming updates.

I don't think anyone expected that. Of course there were some red flags, but in my eyes they didn't point to an exit.
If you just consider how much Betnomi has spent on advertising, campaigns, contests and free raffles here on Bitcointalk in that short time.. seems not right to me.

Honestly, I'm quite surprised by the current situation regarding Betnomi. Just two weeks ago, I received a PM from them, regarding their raffle where, among other things, I received an invitation to participate in their next contests and promotions.

It's strange that I received a forum notification in the PM from Betnomi "This PM looks like possible phishing: examine links closely!" although there weren't any links inside. It would be really good to have direct information, even if it is negative.

probably they had some serious problem that took them by surprise and as they don't want to create panic in people but also don't want to be seen as scammers and lose customers, they are preferring to remain silent because they don't know what they are going to say to people, this It is the typical case of someone when they have a problem and have no idea when they are going to solve the problem and in order not to lie and create expectations in people, the person simply shuts up, looking at the behavior of the OP, he comes into the forum and does not say anything , it is obvious that he is reading the comments made in this thread, and this may confirm my theory

The website is still 'under maintenance' but there are some users claiming that they have been receiving emails from cryptobonuses

I received spam email from someone called CryptoBonuses and it was redirecting to website Crashout, that all looks a lot like scam.
Maybe Betnomi data was hacked or something else happened, but this is first time I heard about this websites.

I personally got one as well so I personally think Betnomi could be selling their database now as we speak. On 11th July, Betnomi also messaged me to send them my address for them to send me my poker prizes ( custom wallet ) which is pretty weird things to prioritize as there have been numerous complaint about their website being offline on that date already

I remember we have a very popular quote from Al Mutanabbi in Arabic that says: "Some people's disasters are others' benefits," or in another example, "One man's meat is another man's poison." This situation applies to Betnomi casino and Trustdice. But after all what Coinbox1 is offering can't be entirely bad or just seeing it as a cheap marketing, as it can genuinely help those who suffered from whatever happened with Betnomi ( if they offer good bonuses).
 Until now nobody really knows the intentions of their team and why there was no warning before going into maintenance mode on the website or at least scheduling a fixed date for the comeback. Considering all the circumstances here it is unlikely that anything positive will appear soon.
