Couple of announcements today The day has finally come! The majority of Generation A miners will be delivered today! We are excited for you to get them and start mining your favorite coins. ZenMiner is up and ready for your registrations, just follow the instructions inside the box. Keep in mind, there will be some bumps in the road. Please let us know about any challenges your having by sending us an email to support@gawminers.com. We will address them as quickly as possible, things will get more ironed out as the week goes on. Please do not post support questions here as they will be deleted and put in to a ticket. Thank you for your support! And happy mining today! Excited for everyone else, but sad for me. My Fury/BW combo just left Hong Kong today, and I've only gotten one of the Zenminers so far, so I'm hoping that gets her soon as well. However, I know that my experience is not the norm (at least from what I can tell), and customer support has been spot on any time I had an issue. I'm sad that I'll be missing a few days of mining profits, but I understand that there's no such thing as a 100% smooth rollout of a product (I work as a SysAdmin, so I deal with stuff like this on a daily basis). I'm also having a bit of buyer's remorse......that I didn't get a War Machine.

Also, I have yet to see an answer about whether you will get a second zencontroller on an additional order. My brother wants me to purchase a fury for him but I just want to make sure I will get another controller.
Yes, you will get another controller. Here it is, straight from GAWminers.com. http://www.gawminers.com/the-fury-1-mh-s-asic-scrypt-miner-week-three/
WHAT IS INCLUDED:
1 x GAW Miners Fury 1 x USB DATA cable 1 x Power Supply Unit 1 x ZenController by ZenMiner 1 x SD CARD ready for ZenController with GAW Miners firmware.
1 x USB DATA cables to use with the ZenController 1 x ZenController power cable for standard power supply unit (4 PIN Connection)
Did not resist the "kit" and bought one of these using my Reward Points to reduce the price... I just spreaded the news at two forums and now the Fury has not the kit anymore... =/ As I placed my order while the product was announced with the kit, I hope you guys send my what was advertised at the website and not propose a refund. Hi, any orders that were placed with it, will come with it that also includes hosted orders when we decide to have them shipped, right? if I recall correctly....thanks That's correct sweet, thanks for confirmation. i will take delivery sometime in the near future, but cant' at this moment

Apologies if this has been asked and answered already - Is the Zenminer a one per customer deal or per miner ? I order furies from weeks 1, 2 and 3 prior to the end of the promo.

Zenminer plugged in and Fury attached to it. I registered the device and entered a pool on the Zenminer site. Currently seeing this under Miners: Updating your device for New Fury. This has been going on for about 15 minutes.
Please use support, do not post support questions here

okay first question I have is who has a working fury/zenminer in hand?
if you do what power does it pull? what does it hash?
I have played the new gear time over and over and over and over.
I decided to
a ) wait for real world reports on zemminer - gaw miner combo's
next question is their a support thread for this on this site.
It would be in script/alt coins. but a thread with all of the new gaw miners would be good.
I have no gaw miners justs grid seeds 5 chip and blades.
A nice setup thread with the units would be helpful
the fury the widow the falcon the war machine the zen controller

Random question, may be better for Zen folks to answer, but will users have any choice over mining software for hardware that is totally 3rd party to GAW/Zen? For example, some folks swear by cgminer3.7.2 for GS hardware, but alternatively a whole host of others (like me) swear by cpuminer 1.0x (the one by Sandor111). Will there be an option to choose software for these types of hardware? I guess it's a bigger question too because some software lets you get very specific in settings (so you can set the magic freq 838 on a blade) while others only allow rounder frequency by the 25s. Anywho, if that's a zen question just let me know. sent you a PM

I also like the CPUminer from Sandor111 (Siklon on github) for Gridseed the best. It is very stable with auto frequency tuning per chip, and I get better hash-rates with it than with other miner software.
I'm busy building my own miner software from the ground up, this project is completely aimed at Windows and won't even run under Linux without modifications. I hate to use Linux development tools, so this one builds completely under Visual Studio without third party libraries.
I think Zeus/GAW should release documentation for the protocol they use with all options and parameters you can set via USB. This will enable developers to modify existing miner software and create new/better software especially targeted at the Zeus miners. Maybe some of this can be found in the source code when they release it.

Source code is out there, slightly older fork of cgminer than what GS used, but it's there with compiled versions as well as binaries: https://gawminers.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202184744-cgminer-source-and-configAha thanks! I didn't see that before.

New user, first post here.
Boxes have started arriving in the mail, and I just wanted to give some major kudos to GAW and Josh in particular. We took a gamble on you for this pre-order business but I'm starting to breathe much easier now. GAW has delivered on absolutely everything they've promised, and much, much more. - store credit to compensate for Gridseed price drop - next day, free shipping on product launch - non-stop engagement on this forum by Josh, keeping us informed and answering questions and concerns - excellent response to customer service inquiries - free zenminer controllers
Oh. My. GAW.
Seriously. I just keep getting more than I ever expected.
And I'm sure I'm missing some. This level of customer service (especially in this particular business) is unprecedented, and I have to believe that this product launch is a loss-leader when everything is tallied. BUT... GAW has made a loyal customer here, and probably many more.
Whatever the mining future holds, I can't wait to see GAW play a major role in it. Keep up the great work.
