you maybe right, but the way i see is the zen controller is selling for $69, this was original included in the $149 fury so now if i was to buy it im $69 less off, why not reduce the miner and give me the option to purchase the controller later.
if i was to get the same package it will be $149 + $69 = $218 so with out reducing the price of the fury, you are in fact increasing the price?
That was a promo. We purchased a bunch from ZenMiner and gave them out as a promotion. That promotion is now over

Also, I have yet to see an answer about whether you will get a second zencontroller on an additional order. My brother wants me to purchase a fury for him but I just want to make sure I will get another controller.
Yes, you will get another controller. Here it is, straight from GAWminers.com. http://www.gawminers.com/the-fury-1-mh-s-asic-scrypt-miner-week-three/
WHAT IS INCLUDED:
1 x GAW Miners Fury 1 x USB DATA cable 1 x Power Supply Unit 1 x ZenController by ZenMiner 1 x SD CARD ready for ZenController with GAW Miners firmware.
1 x USB DATA cables to use with the ZenController 1 x ZenController power cable for standard power supply unit (4 PIN Connection)
Did not resist the "kit" and bought one of these using my Reward Points to reduce the price... I just spreaded the news at two forums and now the Fury has not the kit anymore... =/ As I placed my order while the product was announced with the kit, I hope you guys send my what was advertised at the website and not propose a refund. Hi, any orders that were placed with it, will come with it that also includes hosted orders when we decide to have them shipped, right? if I recall correctly....thanks That's correct

P.S. My receptionist just brought me coffee, but she prefers that I call her "my wife" instead. Tbh, "the boss" would be more accurate. I'll never forget one sign I saw in a mid-western restaurant: "Men on the Left, because Women are always Right!"

maybe it was but there was never mention about the promo, and when it ends. Like i said i was seriously consider buying it, the thing that was holding me back was, there was no real performance or feedback regarding this device until recently. So i think its very misleading, another way for you to charge more

There's nothing wrong with giving a bonus to the persons who took the risk in preordering a publicly untested products. And those who preordered were not even aware of the zenController before a few days ago.

That was a promo. We purchased a bunch from ZenMiner and gave them out as a promotion. That promotion is now over I pretty much thought of it as a "gift" - no way did I expect a $60-$70 PI setup to come free with my $169 miner... I simply expected a link to git where I could download software to run on the USB hosting device of my choice.

I just got the unexpected Zen Controller / Raspberry Pi gift from GAWminers. Thank you so much! I've never received a outright gift like that from a company before.
And I got tracking for my Week 1 Fury - maybe slightly behind schedule but the free upgrade to DHL courier more than makes up for that. It will get here days sooner than regular post.
Thanks for everything GawMiners!

thats fine, what im trying to underline here is the profit margin must be high on the miners, if they can afford to give it as a gift at cost of $69.
Actually we lost 30-40 on every one we gave out....

Josh already posted that they were selling the combo at a $30 loss just to get Zenminers out to the public. So, no, profit margins were not as high as you thought.
