Things were going badly for Turkey in WCQ G group. However, the results obtained last night were such a surprise that all the results Turkey wanted came true. Losing 6-1 to the Netherlands in the general average, Turkey was down by -5 average. Their 6-0 win against Gibraltar yesterday carried Turkey up in the goal difference. They are currently +1 average ahead of Norway. As the Netherlands conceded 2 goals in the last minutes and drew 2-2 with Montenegro, there is even a possibility for Turkey to become the leader. In the last matches, Turkey - Montenegro, Netherlands - Norway will match. Turkey will want to win this match with all its might. If they win, they even have a chance to lead according to the Netherlands v Norway score. They will secure second place.  I'm looking forward to Tuesday.

There is one game left and the runners up position will be fought for by Wales or the Czechs, but Wales need a draw in the last match against Belgium which has already confirmed a place in the 2022 world cup Qatar, but if Belgium can beat Wales and in another match the Czechs can take the lead over Estonia then one place to play off will belong to the Czechs.

Awkward situation for Norway after getting an unexpected 0-0 draw vs Latvia. Now Turkey is tied up with them 18 points with Turkey being 2nd thanks to goal difference. Next game for Turkey is vs Montenegro while Norway will face Netherlands. Since both matches will take place at the same time Tuesday, I doubt Netherlands will go easy unless it secures a win vs Montenegro today so they will be first regardless of the last game result.

Now, after the Netherlands drew the situation really became interesting - if Norway and Turkey win in the last round, then the Netherlands will take only third place. I doubt that this will happen (however, with regard to Turkey, I am also not sure that they will win easily), but the game between the Netherlands and Norway will be as intense as possible.

Wales continued their second place in the group by beating Belarus 5-1. Belgium beat Estonia 3-1 in other match in same group. In the other match that caught my attention, Finland defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-1 away. Finland was shown a red card in the 37th minute, with 10 remaining. Despite this, they won by 3 goals.

Today we are expecting several very interesting matches, especially for fans from the Ex Yu area.
Serbia is playing a big and crucial match against Portugal, Macedonia against Iceland and Croatia against Russia.
Portugal was not convincing against Ireland and they should have lost that match, so it seems to me that Serbia is not without chances against Portugal today.
Macedonia has a historic chance to win second place in the group with today's victory and an extension of hope for first participation in the World Cup.
Croatia is looking for a victory against Russia and winning the first places in the group, which leads directly to the World Cup.
Croatia had problems at the beginning of the qualifiers and played unconvincingly, but now it is a completely different team, with a lot of young and talented players, and I think they are the favorites against Russia.

Tomorrowis a day of all or nothing for so many national teams and mine included as I need Iceland to draw in Macedonia and Romania to win with Lichtenstein... . Regarding 1st places , I do think both Italy and England will qualify first praying for a draw or a win on Iceland squad 

North Macedonia odds @1.5 are better than Iceland @6.2
Romania to win vs Liechtenstein is obvious imo (odds x40 lol) without mentioning the 32 goals received by them in 9 games.. Romania has to wait for North Macedonia to drop points to take the second position indeed.
Portugal-Serbia, Spain-Sweden and Croatia-Russia are the best games so far with a direct impact on which team will get the first position.

Turkey and Netherlands should still finish this group comfortably, even with all the upsets early on. Norway though will not have any pressure so they could still creep into the contention. But betting wise, this is all a pure gamble on all selections.

We are going to be starting with a great game today. Croatia are going to be hosting Russia and this game is very crucial as it concerns ending the group as the leader. This is their last group game. Croatia have to win to be able to take the lead as they are two points behind Russia now. Getting even one point here will be enough for Russia to maintain their position. Their first group game against each other ended by 0-0. I think that Croatia are a capable team of beating Russia home this time. But it is going to be hell of a game surely. This time, the "both teams to score" option seems logical to bet on I think.

Oh yes a couple of interesting ones. One of the most exciting is probably Portugal against Serbia as Serbia really has to be taken seriously. They certainly have a chance to harm Portugal even though they are not the favorite in this game. But what counts is that both teams have equal points. Italy Switzerland group is also exciting. Denmark really did an amazing job this whole qualification. The Netherlands group is so close, that's a tough one!

Just a single point is needed from this game to make Portugal scale through.
They have been top favorites from the start,they just have to create enough chances,score goals and defend properly.
Although Serbia will hurt them a little.

Sounds easier said than done in this one as I believe many people underestimate Serbia. They are not Luxembourg or Faroer Islands. Serbia has a pretty decent squad that is definitely able to hurt teams like Portugal. You know how those games can go, we all know it. Lucky penalty, free kick goal and Portugal gets under pressure.

Plenty of interesting games today. First, Croatia - Russia. For Russia draw is enough, while Croatia must win. I expect Croatia to win and I think it will be low scoring game.
Portugal - Serbia is another game for 1st place. My prediction is Portugal win and BTTS.
Spain - Sweden. Spain should win, but odds don't look very attractive.
And North Macedonia - Iceland. I'm backing Macedonia and I want to see them in next round of qualifiers. Though, if they will lose tonight, Romania have chance to get 2nd place as they will play against Liechtenstein.

I was delighted with the Montenegro game! Holland couldn't win and along with it my multi bet didn't work, but it was an amazing match! Looking at the first half I got my win back by betting that both teams would score and the Montenegrins scored twice!
I expect an interesting game today between Spain and Sweden! I think the Swedes will play much better in this match after losing to Georgia! I also expect a goal from Russia against Croatia and a win for the Croats...

I also think that Turkey and the Netherlands can pass the group. The last match will be in the Netherlands. I think they can beat Norway at home. Turkey will defeat Montenegro with this morale. If Turkey does not win, if Norway beats the Netherlands, Norway and the Netherlands will pass together. It was a group open to all possibilities. All will be revealed on Tuesday.

Yea I love this Wales guys (according to Gareth bale: Wales mafias) they all love playing for there country, take a look at Rondon he does not play for his club side Tottenham Hotspur but when he plays for Wales you won't notice any match rusty syndrome,same thing with bale he gives his all and his best for his country even when he is playing with injuries or pains, look at Ben Davies you will say to your self is he that same guy that plays for spurs.i love this passion they have for there country.

Turkey were able to do the expected thing from them as they crushed Gibraltar by 6-0. Their opponent got a red card but it doesn't matter. Gibraltar are a mediocre team anyway. This helped Turkey make their goal average much better than before. They hoped Norway to lose points against Latvia home which seemed too much to ask maybe. But magically it happened.    Even though Norway literally owned the game, there was a 0-0 draw at the end. After equalizing the points, Turkey have managed to take the second place already now as they have a one more goal average than Norway.

Let's see if Turkey will be the advancing side instead of Norway. Actually, there is even a possibility for Turkey and Norway both to promote and Netherlands to be eliminated. But it seems like a very far possibility to me.

I really hope that Spain can beat Sweden, even though Ibrahim Movic has returned to defend the national team, but I am optimistic that Spain can beat Sweden and make it through to the World Cup, because Spain is a regular in the World Cup, so if there is no Spain in the World Cup, it is certain less interesting, I don't know which countries have got tickets to the 2022 world cup..

In my opinion, Croatia is overvalued, Portugal is underestimated, and in the pair Spain - Sweden the coefficients are adequate. Probably a multi-bet on Portugal to win, Spain to win and not to lose to Russia would be a good choice.
