One great soccer nation is going to get kicked out. For the fans is actually sucks and I am not very keen to watch the play-offs either. It is cooler to watch those clashes at a regular tournament. For Ronaldo it would be a slap in his face at this stage of the career.

Seriously this is big setback for Portugal as recently they have few very talented players and these all are doing very good but still they fail to qualify for world cup and now facing some tough competition from team like Italy which is also having very bad period in last few years as they already miss the 2018 world cup and now again on verge of losing their place second time in a row, but now we have to wait for their next move how they respond and what is outcome of this all.

Few years back I was mad about Italian soccer but sadly now recently they are struggling but good thing recently they won European Cup which is again a good sign for them and their soccer fans.

Turkey having some good players with good team but still not able to handle top ranked European teams those are having massive advantage in quality with some very skilled players I am sure Portugal will never have any issue against Turkey, and they can beat them easily but still issue is Italy where they are going to have some very tough competition and these both teams are level in quality and skill but in my view Italy is some better as they won recently European Championship, but we can't predict about any match which is going to play after nearly 3 months with many things can happen like injuries and some other hopefully this could be entertaining match for soccer fans around the globe.

Turkey has a team that I consider to be quite strong and that usually gives the big teams work. I think Portugal will have a lot of work to do on this game. The advantage of Portugal is that it will have the fans on its side to give support, this can help a little.

That's the point, the team isn't playing together. Everyone is waiting for Ronaldo to solve everything, and that can't be. The coach continues to bet on a style of play, which is not at all suited to the type of players that Portugal has.

I would like Portugal to reach the world cup, but honestly, if they win Torquia, they will almost certainly lose to Italy. This will only happen if the coach completely changes his game strategy. And honestly I find this difficult.

I'm favouring Portugal and Italy in their draws against Turkey and North Macedonia respectively. Because Italy are already far stronger than North Macedonia and they would even beat them by a big score gap if they would like. And Portugal wouldn't get an easy win vs Turkey but they are still the better club in this draw. If Ronaldo plays good, I see Turkey's chance being low. And after that, I think Italy would get past Portugal by a decent score and join the World Cup finally.

Luck all time favours braves, so I am feeling which team will play bravely surely going to be winner of this match and having entry into FIFA World Cup 2022 right now Italy is having some better chance but Ronaldo and home factor surely giving some better chance to Portugal as well.

In terms of ranking, Portugal is indeed superior because they are still in a fairly high position.
But in terms of performance at the moment I think like you said there is still a lot of time to see how they prepare well.
on the other hand i still see the dependence on ronaldo in the ranks of the portugal players which makes it very difficult for them to develop the game they do

I agree in the sense that if the team of Turkey really plays to their best of their ability the distance between them and Portugal is not as large so they could win in a good day.

However the big difference is they do not have a player like Ronaldo, if Ronaldo wants to go to the world cup and say goodbye to his national team in the best possible way then he needs to be a huge factor during that game and the next one that they will most likely have to play against Italy, otherwise the chances to see Portugal at the world cup will not be as high as we think.

Yes, I also thought about it. It's hard for me to imagine the degree of psychological pressure on players who are waiting for a super important match to determine whether they will make it to their last World Cup or not. As it might be the last world cup for CR7 I want Portugal to reach the final tournament from Path C. Italy is in real danger on missing two straight world cups. On the other hand, I am not worried because, if CR7 fails, then also i'll get to see Messi & Neymar's super skills who have already got tickets to Qatar.
