The Ukrainians showed a great character and heart for the game yesterday and that they are a really good team. In a few days they will play for promotion to the World Cup with the national team of Wales. I believe that if they play like against Scotland, they will have a good chance of being promoted.

Poland is slightly stronger than Ukraine (FIFA ranks 21 vs 24). The Poland vs Wales game seemed fairly balanced (15-14 shots), Wales was even leading 0-1 and Poland scored 2 goals in the last 20 minutes. Also the game took place in Poland.
What does this mean now for Wales vs Ukraine? I guess not much 
We will see an open game where both teams have good chances to win.

Ukraine's players have played very well. But I will not say that Scotland played badly. Ukraine's gameplay was good, their match strategy was excellent. Wales will also lose to Ukraine, just as Scotland lost. It was safe to bet on Ukraine winning this match and the next. By the way, Ukraine won 2 more matches yesterday - U21 against Faroe Islands and U19 against Norway. The total was 3 wins in one day. A great result, isn't it?

whatever happened the game was over and Ukraine was able to win this match. I think this is inseparable from the enthusiasm of the Ukrainian players even though there was no competition in their country for more than 1 year because of the war that happened.
they will face Wales to ensure 1 ticket to Qatar, it will be very tough for Ukraine but I hope they can get past this and can be in Qatar for the 2022 world cup. if that happens it will be very nice for Ukrainians in the current conflict his country.

They were dominant in possession and more dangerous going forward - it wasn't visible that they didn't play football for a while.

They are now favorites against Wales - they are a better team overall. Considering everything that is happening - it would be great to have them in the World Cup.

The Russian invasion made the Ukrainian government to stop any form of domestic league competitions and matches which affected most players. But these set of Ukrainian players showed that they were patriotic. regardless of the assumption like that or not clear in this case Ukraine is very advantaged and that's quite reasonable considering their strength actually looks different even from the start of the game they already saw that Scotland was under pressure.

Yes it was a really impressive one i think the current situation gave the players a huge boost that why they played really good and they dominated the game they kept possession of the ball by 58% and their shots were really accurate they 8 from 15 were on goal, i think they have more chances to get past wales team but it will be a more tough game.

It is difficult to assess the shape of the Ukrainian national team now, many players have been without a game for months and this will certainly affect their physical form. It’s not worth talking about the psychological state at all, Scotland in this situation looks like a favorite. If Ukraine can win, it will be a huge feat, and a very big miracle. But to be honest, I don't even know what Ukraine will be capable of in the final part if they manage to beat Scotland.

This Ukraine team is playing with passion and emotion considering the happenings in their country,, you can see the way they showed hunger and desire against Scotland,, Ukraine is not a team with the biggest names in football but going to win Scotland by 3:1 is something special just like one of the Scot great said Ukraine should be given automatical qualifications so send a message that the world is behind Ukraine.. wat I saw last night was pure passion and desire and if they show that against Wales then I see them in Qatar later in this year,, and it will be something special for the Ukrainian people scattered around the world,, after qualifications advancing from the group stages will be another objective if they can focus and give their best I see them reaching at least the round of 16 or quarter finals if they avoid the biggest names in football except they will be up for an upset

Hands up for me too, I thought Scotland would take their chances, and Ukraine would play to the quality they had. As it turned out, Scots didn't show up and Ukraine overperformed. Even Robbo admitted they simply let themselves down.

I still would have liked Scotland more to appear but you know how it is with these playoffs, winner takes all.

Such a disappointment, really, and Wales, what were they doing?

I can’t believe how bad Scotland were. Scotland were not fully prepared for this game,and that shows they do not have the quality of players to negate that situation. I think preparation was poor and the putting centre mids as  centre backs is a recipe for disaster and it showed. Well, I'm looking forward to Ukraine's next match. Will Wales lose to Ukraine? Fingers crossed.

Honestly this was a surprise for me though indeed, I also realized Ukraine had high motivation to prove they were fine. But the victory was not a win by a narrow score because Ukraine can win by a big score, it is clear they have an extraordinary spirit at this moment which must be a strong impetus for them to keep going without giving up. Their victory deserves to be appreciated, because I'm sure there will be some who think they have no hope due to their distracted focus with the existing conflict, but the fact is that this is not the case and Ukraine has proven that.

The Poland-Wales match was a very close match so I enjoyed it. The fact that Lewandowski took the ball from the left open at 20 minutes, passed his opponent between his legs, and then faced the goalkeeper and shot, shows how dangerous this player is and how he can produce things on his own. Poland is very strong with lewandowski. Although Wales opened the first goal, Poland managed to take the lead with a goal from Świderski in the 85th minute of the last spot.
