I personally cannot see Ajax recovering all the way to PSV and we all know that Ajax dominated almost 1 decade the Eredivise and I think it's time for their football to flurish again with some other teams like PSV , Alkmaar and Feyernoord. That's why , I do believe this year PSV will be champions once again and go back 2 back because right now they do have the best team , they do have the best players and they also have the 1st position with a very comfortable advantage over 2nd place and 10 points over Ajax who are on 3rd place.

Ajax have first defeat in ten games against Real Sociedad with their performance was not bad but still they are now having good consistency which is helping them for having good results now in coming 21 days we have 7 games which is surely workload for their players, but they have to give their best for keeping them hot and at the top level.

Hosting Lazio and Alkmaar is surely tough job but as they are having improvement we can expect from them to be done good job and bring good fight in second half of the season while things could be not easy with few teams are surely on good level and improving which will be give them challenge this season is surely could be good after sometime with few teams are giving quality performance.

The round 20 begins today with just one match to play, then tomorrow 4 matches to be played and on Sunday 4 matches also. The super Sunday bring a derby match as PSV takes on Feyenoord. This fixture always decide how the season is going to be and who will be champion for the season.

First of all, this week is week 17 in the Eredivisie and not week 20. Half a match has not yet taken place in this league, meanwhile the intensity of title race in this league is getting higher, especially for ranks 2 to 4. PSV is comfortably at the top of the standings, that's because they have 42 points, 6 points different from Ajax & Utrecht who are ranked 2nd & 3rd in the Eredivisie.

This week, several match that have taken place are not so satisfying because there is no goal party from one of the match, but there are still several match left and for now Ajax plays by dominating the game but it is boring and does not show any surprises in terms of attacks that are quite dangerous.
Ajax plays away and Sparta Rotterdam is also not strong team because they are in the bottom row of the standings, I think Ajax will only win if in the final minutes they score goal because the match that is now taking place has entered the 68th minute but Ajax has not yet got goal advantage, this is one of the bad match for Ajax.

There has also been times when other teams also won the Eredevisie title, though it is Ajax that has always dominated the most but right now it seems like teams like PSG Eindhoven are pretty much in form are also seem like favourites to clinch the title due to Ajax inconsistencies in the campaign. PSV already have a comfortable lead at the moment which I think is a good advantage for them considering the title race but I know they might still face some challenges along the way that way reduce the points gap before the season runs out.

I expected something more from Feyenoord. Maybe 3:0 PSV win doesn't fully reflect game, but in general, they were better. Maybe it's too early to make such conclusions when there is still half of season remaining, but for Feyenoord fight for title looks very complicated, not saying impossible, but 10 points down is serious stuff.

Utecht ended this year not in that way as they wanted with very painful defeat at home to Sittard 2:5, but they still keep 3rd place.
Usually they end somehwere between 5-8th place, so, it wasn't that long time ago when they played in qualification of UEFA Cups, though, without much success. It's been a while since they played in group stage last time - 2010-11 season.

Noa Lang is such a gem, he is doing it this season, scoring and assisting, dribbling pass opponents like a Brazilian, he has now scored 4 league goals and assisting 7 goals making it 11 goal contribution in 4 appearances in the league. He is my player of the season so far, if he continues like this he will be the player of the season no doubt. He is a key if PSV is going to win the title.

Yes, PSV performed impressively when they beat Feyenoord with a score of 3-0. They were able to dominate the match and their goals came from open play situations. I was impressed with the third goal scored by Tilman. It was a really accurate kick and went to the top left corner of the Feyenoord goal.
The result of this match made PSV 6 points ahead of Ajax in second place. This is not a big difference in points and there is a possibility that Ajax or FC Utrecht could take over the first position. But with PSV's current performance, it seems that it will be difficult for both teams to beat PSV. On the other hand, Ajax's performance is much better this season compared to the previous season. Unfortunately, PSV is their toughest opponent to become champions.
