I look at it as a money making fight  if ever Canelo  manage to regain his name, a trilogy might happen as promoters will push for it to gain  more money,  though  the post above might also take place as Canelo's camps always have alternative options,  but as a warrior might be better to take that last shot against bivol  to conclude everything between them.

Got a feeling that Mark will be having a hard time in the super featherweight division because for me he is small for this weight category, just my thought but i want him to win as usual.

But it's just the question on why he would do Bivol at 168 lbs and then when rehydration clause? Doesn't make sense as he is the champion in that division unless he wanted to have that big advantage against Bivol. We might call it just to make it an even field for him.

Right, Magsayo looks huge and power at this new division, he still has the pop in this punch, but he just need to be very careful on who is his next fight because he might cross path with powerful punchers here. What exactly are the bad habits do you see?
i see some of his weakness abut he got some power with both hands. I think if he could improve his stamina and more quickness in his combinations, he'll become a champion again. It's a good start for him, his ranking will easily improve due to his impressive win. Not sure what happen to his opponent now, hopefully he's okay but Magsayo did well here, very well.

As I expected that Devin Haney would be able to win the fight and take the WBC Super Lightweight title from the hands of Regis Prograis, Haney won by unanimous decision from the referee decision 120-107, 120-107, and 120-107.
This is big achievement for Devin Haney because he managed to maintain the undefeated record he had so far and at the same time managed to add the WBC Super Lightweight title to the record of titles he has managed to control.

But still Navarette is solid as this division and I do not see any advantage of Mark Magsayo over the rest of the champions here. Navarette's volume and output might be too much for Magsayo and he is very open to counter and for sure Navarette will find that opening in their fight.

Joseph Cordina is a tall dude, while O'Shaquie Foster is very technical and no offense to the fans of Magsayo as I'm also a fan of him, but Foster is going to make a killing out of him if this face each other.

Mark Magsayo won his fight at super featherweight, 130 lbs, he beat Isaac Avaler via a vicious knockout.

Although there are still some loopholes in Magsayo here, as he was open for counter. But the good thing is that he can take the punch of Avaler because he has a solid chin. But he needs to cover his face at this division because it's going to be very difficult for him if he will face fighters in the top 10.

So this person just climbed to a new division after his back to back losses to Rey Vargas and Brandon Figueroa. Although Magsayo has a powerful punch, his fighting style does have many flaws. If he wants to become a champion once more, he needs to change those bad habits.

Yes, he did climb because his body might have a hard time hitting 126 lbs and it might have cause him to lost his fight against Rey Vargas. I do agree with the flaws, and so is many boxers as well. I think he did try to chance his style, but I  guess he always revert back to his old style as shown in this fight (exposing his chin and overextending his shot).

Anyhow, it is good that he returned to the ring and won once more. Perhaps a couple of more matches and he gets a championship match. The title holders are not stable except for Navarette. But Navarrette already in his third division tenure, is beginning to exhibit some weaknesses that could be taken advantage of.

He needs more fight here for me, he can just go and fight the champion yet. He needs to slowly get up in ranks. His opponent is no known, has a bad record so it's just a tune up fight for him. Maybe fighting rank fighters in the top 5 before he can have a crack at the champion in this division, like Navarette.

So if Bivol gets Canelo's 2nd fight with PBC I wonder if Benavidez will ever get his shot at the real title. If Canelo somehow beats Bivol in the rematch, I expect him to take Crawford as his last fight of the contract and go back to Matchroom.

I think it's only fair that there should be a trilogy for their fight. Bivol could have declined a rematch with Canelo after beating him, but he agreed to it. Therefore, if Canelo is a true warrior, he should give Bivol a chance to determine the better fighter between them. This can only be settled through another rematch.

They both playing the mind games I guess, Bivol wanted a rematch but Canelo chooses John Ryder and let Bivol look for a dance partner with less money on the line. So Canelo paly his part very good in this games, now after beating Charlo and moving out of the Matchroom contract, Bivol is left hanging. And then we heard that if there will be a rematch, it will be in terms of Canelo again which including Bivol going down to 168 lbs and with rehydration clause.

As far as Benavidez goes, yeah, me might not get his title shot against Canelo as Alvarez is now looking for the biggest paycheck that he can get before retiring. So Benavidez could chase Morell or even Bivol or Beterbiev.

The big paychecks for Canelo would be Bivol on light heavyweight or Benavidez. These others that you have mentioned will not cause much excitement from the fans, I reckon.

However, the biggest might be for Canelo to accept Bivol's challenge and fight him in super middleweight where Canelo will risk all of his championship belts!

I think Canelo is still the cash cow no matter how we look at it, either a DB fight or Bivol it will still make a lot of money. But it's just the question on why he would do Bivol at 168 lbs and then when rehydration clause? Doesn't make sense as he is the champion in that division unless he wanted to have that big advantage against Bivol. We might call it just to make it an even field for him.

But if he wanted to be really cemented his legacy, for me a rematch at 175 lbs will be the way for him. Not unless if he longer wanted more belt or if he thinks that he can't really beat Bivol at light heavyweight that's why he wanted the rematch as his best, 168 lbs wherein he is the undisputed.

It's funny when Canelo says he is the king and will choose who he fights next. So it's like an indirect answer that he won't fight Benavidez. But, indeed, Canelo is still the biggest cash cow in boxing because the numbers are consistent no matter who he fights. Because of that, corrupt boxing bodies are scared to impose their mandatories on him otherwise they will lose their % on every Canelo fight.

At Canelo's age, I doubt he is still looking for a legacy. He may rematch Bivol at 175 but he already became champion at that division. A rematch at 168 with a rehydration clause might get him revenge. But it is still very risky and I doubt he wins as I see Bivol as a small 175 fighter which means he can get to 168 without much of a problem and will once again school or even stop Canelo.
