I think you should just get the refund mate. Seriously. You are lucky if you been offered refund. Im not saying you shouldnt complain receiving something you werent sold. But if they are willing to refund it - why not? Testing item for 2 days and hashing with it seems reasonable. Not like they had it for 2 months. Has with it for 2 days to get your hashing time back you lost. Then return it for refund.

Hah I was right, you are talking to each other here, this is like a care bear thread. And you said one thing right. They made a million sales and only you 2 are sitting here working your keyboards.
A million sales? And not one photo of a War Machine And only 2 photos of Falcon in existance. And on one of those threads Josh said enjoy the pictures because they had fun making them. Making the pictures, or making the Falcon? Making pictures? The pictures of the falcon and war machines are both 3d models on their website.

Let me see if I get this right - you don't have an answer to the difficulty-vs-power question, right? Just reminding in case you forgot. I'm not a tech guy, why are you asking me that? You made the claim/statement that higher difficulty means higher power consumption and failed to back it up, who am I supposed to ask then? And you are still making shit up about how you think I'm acting or not acting. My story with GAW orders is well documented in this thread and elsewhere, no need for you to tell me that. But thank you for the response, it explains a lot.

I don't need to back anything up just told you what I was told when I asked your question - different coins mine with different power consumption, and the PSU you're using can also change it. You like drama, and just sit here with the other guy spitting venom. Anybody who reads this topic can see it, but I doubt anybody even bothers to read multiple pages of the same boring crap. I'll remind you again because I you apparently can't read: send it back if you don't like it! Don't dramatize like a child.

Well, here's my unofficial results. I say unofficial because I screwed up my test on smartcoin. i forgot to up the ltcclk back to 328. But for half hour at 290 mining smartcoin with diff byte size between 45-100k, I was using 550 from the wall for 30 min. that's 1100 -10%=1000 - 125 mobo. 875 Watts. problem is, i'm solving blocks solomining, but not getting credit for them. I'll possibly cause a fork or 51% if I stayed on it. Seems to me, we are forced to use 900+ Watts. EDIT: This was conducted at 290. So to use manufacturer setting at 328 will cause more power, more HW, and uncredited blocks. so basically its pointless to mine low diff or net hashrate coins, in order to obtain the manufacturers power range.
Now the difficulty is at 9 after its been less than 1.... I can't get real test done. Back to mining real coins.

Don't worry as power reports will filter out and people will learn what the zeus/gaw miners really get. my 16-17 watts an mh for ltc mining with gridseed blades are done with a hi end platinum psu the seasonic 1200 watt model http://www.amazon.com/SeaSonic-ATX12V-Platinum-PLATINUM-1200-SS-1200XP3/dp/B00JG5LSN8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1401649879&sr=8-1&keywords=seasonic+1200I paid 287 for this. and I have a few sets of these http://www.gawminers.com/6-pin-pcie-to-3-x-2-1mm-barrel-tip-power-cable/you can not get a much more efficient piece of gear then the above psu. If I use this psu http://www.gawminers.com/12v-30a-360w-led-switching-power-supply/ I will jump at least 15-20 percent. so my 16-17 watts per mh will become 19-21 watts per mh I have both and have tested them both. The little bricks are worse 20-25 percent more. So if you are running a lot of machines furies you should use http://www.gawminers.com/6-pin-pcie-to-3-x-2-1mm-barrel-tip-power-cable/and maybe this http://www.amazon.com/Antec-EA-650-Platinum-Power-Supply/dp/B0064LWI40/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1401650265&sr=8-2&keywords=antec+ea+650I own one of these also good it can run 6 to 12 furies. 6 if you use 2 of these http://www.gawminers.com/6-pin-pcie-to-3-x-2-1mm-barrel-tip-power-cable/ 12 is you buy 4 of the above and 2 of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-6-PIN-PCI-EXPRESS-Y-SPLITTER-POWER-CABLE-15-MADE-IN-AMERICA-/261366480644?pt=US_Power_Cables_Connectors&hash=item3cdaa7ff04my point is I think the fury may run at 40 watts or maybe 38 watts with a plat psu and you may be doing 1.3 mh this gets you to 29 -30 watts an mh . still not as good as a gridseed blade. we need more fair tests of gaw/zeus gear. I can show ltc tests for gridseeds and I will post photos here of the exact setup on monday.. you can then hope for some real photos and proof of gaw-zeus miners to make a fair comparsion. I will post my setup on the gridseeds with a few photos. Hopefully people will post real shots of gaw results to compare. here are 2 gridseed blades and 1 five chip gridseed pulling about 10.48mh hashrate these use about 170 watts on a k-watt meter ltc only on cex.io that is only the gridseed and comes to 16.23 watts an mh

If the Fury/Blizzard pulls 40-50W that would make it 240-300W on one PCI-Express cable. This exceeds specifications, which is 150W max. To be fair these specifications are very conservative and it won't catch fire at 240W, but make sure that all connections are solid, wires are at least AWG 16-18, and cooling is adequate. Better yet, get a PSU with more PCI-E cables (most 750W+ PSUs have 4 or more) and run 3 on each.

One pci-e carries more than 150W for a falcon with only four connectors. 1 per board. 4 boards. 900 Watts.... Thats 225W! Anyone hear if they have released any kind of patch as was promised twice by Josh?

OKAY I have a volunteer to send me one! I will test the fury post photos using it with the stock brick the plat psu's i have. I will run it head to head against a gridseed blade. I will do ltc only I will use 2 pools cex.io and wemineltc.com I will post when the gear arrives. _______________________________________________________________________________ _________________ well all I can do is show what gridseed blades can do . to be fair we need I can mail them this psu to them http://www.amazon.com/Antec-EA-650-Platinum-Power-Supply/dp/B0064LWI40/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1401660626&sr=8-2&keywords=antec+ea+650and I can mail this power cord to them http://www.gawminers.com/6-pin-pcie-to-3-x-2-1mm-barrel-tip-power-cable/closer to New Jersey 07731 zip code is best. they can test up to 3 furies on it. that is 3.9mh I am hoping they run at 105-110 watts running ltc i can mail the psu and a trick switch to keep it powered and a kill-a-watt ……. 1 blade does 5.3mh and pulls 85-90 watts running ltc. if you are a trustworthy member and want to run the test send me pm.

I'm afraid to mine ltc with my falcon and psu. If I mine 4000% -no exaggeration- less diff coins and I'm already at 1000watts(DC) @ 328clock OR I mine 8000% less diff and i'm at 875watts(DC) @ 290clock, I think ltc would fry my psu. I'm very interested in your test results. Afterthought: If the difference of the clock speeds is only reason for the difference in power, then ltc mining would be fine, but then that raises the question about why is there a range of power usage? I will have to run 1 more test to see. I won't announce which coin I'm testing or when until I'm done.

Ordered a Fury But now im a bit worried. I want to lease my entire rig out on leaserig, so i would have to get both the fury and my gpus under 1 instance of cgminer. Can someone compile a version that works for both? The source code id available, I tried to compile but failed miserably .

You mean the kind of help like this one here? https://community.gawminers.com/gawminers/topics/_5_29_14_gen_a_power_draw_information_what_you_need_to_knowI've already roasted a 1000W PSU with the Falcon, so I'm not clear on how an 850W can even be a minimum requirement? My Black Widow is drawing 500w so I'm not sure how a 350w would even begin to work with it. The Black Widow needs a 600W PSU MINIMUM not RECOMMENDED. It'll fry a 350W PSU in minutes.
