Hello, guys however it will end this will end of an ERA.

Most likely it will be the last world cup for Messi and Cr7.


Anyway, another big will skip the cup, bye bye Mane.

The two living legends of today are Messi and Ronaldo. But they still can't touch the World Cup. However, the brutal truth is that the Portugal team is not strong enough. They are more dependent on Ronaldo's performance. So, if Ronaldo continues to perform well, Portugal will do well in this World Cup.

On the other hand, Argentina team is very strong in this World Cup. I forget the last time they lost a game. They are consistently playing well. And Messi is in very good form. So we can expect a good performance from Argentina in this World Cup.

It's sad for Sadio Mane. Also I am not sure if Senegal can perform well without Sadio Mane. Sadio Mane is the most important player in the Senegal team.

Portugal has been in crisis for a long time and is playing badly.
In the qualifiers for the World Cup, they lost at home to Serbia and took only second place in their group, so they had to play additional qualifiers.
Ronaldo also played in all those matches for Portugal, but he did not really help the Portuguese team.
Honestly, I think his time has passed and Portugal would be better off playing without him. Manchester United started playing much better when they got rid of Ronaldo.

I do not agree that Portugal has been in crisis; no not at all. Yes they struggled during the qualifying stages for the worldcup but you cannot compare that form to now. Why? Now Portugal is going to the worldcup with a complete 11 in view (compared to qualifiers where they chop and change tactics and players as related to available players due to either fatigue form or injuries).

In my opinion, portugal have a very solid defense; if they can take their chances, they will have a good run in the worldcup. Same with Argentina, france and the Netherlands

I have mixed feelings about that first game. I really like Ecuador and therefore I would love to see them win. However, it would be a great boost of confidence for Qatar players and fans if Qatar wins the opening game. We have two more days and I can't wait for the tournament to start. Too bad that the first games in every day are scheduled for the time when I'm at work so I probably won't be able to watch

Netherlands: their performance at the Euros yesterday was pretty good even though it was anti-climax, at least with the current squad they can at least be a capital to advance to the knockout stages.

Senegal: An African team that is again ferocious and in a golden generation period. African champions are proof that they control Africa.

Qatar: Qatar's preparations are really ready. Until successful Asian champion.
But their experience and mentality in the world arena has not been very convincing.

Ecuador: A country that regularly participates in the world cup. Potential to surprise opponents.

Just a prediction and opinion from me who loves football.

You love football about way to much I would say  .Who in their right mind that is following football from many years would place Qatar above Ecuador,I believe no one except fans of Qatar who may as well rank them 1st of the group but unfortunately this will only remain an unfulfilled wish.

In this group I think the opening game between Qatar and Ecuador will decide which of the teams will end the group stage in a better position,just two day until we see this clash and all of our doubts are clear but if I were to bet who will qualify higher in the group between these two teams I would choose Ecuador as a sure bet.

Portugal has enough qualified player resources, they have almost complete depth of players on all fronts. it's just that, their problems are on the front lines. yes this is just my opinion, does not determine the real truth. So far, we have only talked based on existing statistics and data. if we observe, Fernando Santos tends to use a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formation.

only in the trial match against Nigeria, Portugal used a different formation with a 4-3-1-2 pattern. the results are quite effective, despite the fact that Nigeria is not as resilient as it used to be.

as @Daniel91 said, Ronaldo didn't contribute too much throughout Portugal's matches in the Nations League or Qualification in the World Cup. throughout our assessment, Ronaldo's performance has really dropped dramatically. not infrequently he always has difficulty performing at his best, we can refer to the statistics when Ronaldo played with his club. this shows that his sharpness has decreased dramatically, plus as he is not young anymore.

Based on Ecuador is strongest national team at CONMEBOL qualifiers, Qatar will win because have full support from their fans, actually become host in World Cup give motivate and more spirit to win at every games. I think group A standing Netherland and Qatar will qualify to next round. I doubt with Ecuador can't qualify to next round or finish above Qatar standing position, actually Asia zone have different atmosphere and weather need new adapt with Ecuador and Netherland.

Left two days later with opening match Qatar as the host between Senegal have bad issues after confirming they can't build full squad team after Sadio Mane injured and can't play at World Cup 2022.

By far netherlands doing really great after being poor in several competition , they are unbeaten for 14 matches now and counting ... so i might think that you have a wrong point of view , completely wrong . Ecuador even struggle to get win over the previous months.

They had goalless result in 3 games in a row which it's a real bad sign.

Mane isn't doing too well at the moment compared to when he played at his previous club. it won't make Sinegal strong enough compared to the other nations in Group A along with co-hosts Qatar.

The Senegal football association are saying that they are going to employ spiritual help on Mane if the injury didn't go on time before the world cup starts. This was the exact way the Italians relied heavily on their big stars like Roberto Baggio, and Gianluca Viali, to take them far in the 1990 world cup. It was shocking for them to see that their underrated striker called Toto Schillaci contributed immensely that lead their way to the semifinals of the 1990 world cup.

So, am believing that whoever Senegalese chooses to replace Mane in the world cup may perform wonders, who knows?

When it comes to Portugal and Argentina, I see Argentina one step ahead. Because Messi has been very impressive so far and I expect to see him maintaining his ambition here also. As this is his last World Cup it is an extra important cup for him. Ronaldo hasn't found much chance to play at Manchester United. His contribution to Portugal will be very crucial here. If he doesn't play well then Portugal's chance for the title will go down very much. In addition they need to play much stronger than the Qualifiers as a team also.

Qatar hosted this year's World Cup on its home turf. So we must count Qatar.We all know that Ecuador is a very strong team.
