We have left the first half behind already. Morocco continue to surprise everyone by a great performance. They got 1-0 ahead by a goal they found in the last minutes of the half. Portugal goalkeeper made a huge mistake by leaving his goal to get the ball in air into his hands. En Nesyri was there to benefit from this mistake by a really nice header. After this goal Portugal got really close to scoring the equalizer with Fernandes. His shot hit the goal post I'm afraid. Maybe Portugal have a dominance in ball possession but the score is much different now.

We see Ramos again in the starting eleven after that amazing effort by a hat-trick. Fernando Santos must be believing in him a lot in this match as well. We might see Ronaldo entering the game quite late again.

Morocco recorded a new history in the World Cup, satisfying results in the three matches they went through beating Canada, Spain and finally Portugal. Maroco has a tough defender who can play defensively, so he is able to break down attacks built by Portuguese players, but in my opinion Bono was the player who stood out the most and was the best player in this match, many saves were made by the Sevilla goalkeeper. Thus making Portugal unable to do much in this crucial match.

Once again, the Portuguese team was defeated by Morocco's match strategy. We expected Morocco to play defensively and try to draw. Because we have seen this kind of gameplay from Morocco in every recent match. However, Morocco did not play defensively in the first half today. Morocco's goal in the first half was to score. And they succeeded. After scoring in the first half, Morocco did not try to attack much in the second half. However, several counter-attacks were made by Moroccan players.

This is quite an achievement. I personally support Brazil, but they are out now. So I was cheering for one of the GOAT (CR7). But what a match that was. The header goal was a piece of beauty.
That last red card was funny enough.

This World Cup produced some incredible unpredictable moments without a doubt but when it comes to CR7 he was struggling to maintain his form considering his age and he did not produce any incredible performance in this World Cup either and no longer with Manchester United. He got a chance in this match to score a goal but the goalie made a great save.

This England versus France match seems to be one of the most important matches of the tournament and in my opinion, the winner of this match might win the World Cup trophy. Both the teams are really strong in their respect. I personally think that Kylian Mbappe's performance will be a key factor in France's game. That's probably the huge upset this time, Morocco was seen to be an underdog but during this World Cup run, they probably has the impressive record not being a top 10 on the rankings.
